Just For Fun- Who Would Win?

Dark Match Jobber
Everyone always makes a big deal about how wrestling's not "real" but it's obvious to fans the amount of athleticism involved. It's also fair to say there's some pretty scary guys in the wrestling world that you wouldn't want to run into in a dark alley.

So my question is, just for fun...........If there was to be a REAL LIFE every-man-for-himself brawl in the locker room, which wrestler would come out on top? And as a follow up, which of the bigger stars out there wouldn't stand a chance?

If you could please separate your answers into an ALL TIME category or a CURRENTLY WRESTLING category.

All-Time :
Meng/Haku. The early Faces of Fear Meng. Dude was brutal. And there are stories to evidence that. Look it up.

Current Wrestler :
Matt Morgan (TNA)
Shad Gaspard (of Cryme Tyme) (WWE)
If you doubt Shad, check out his background (which, in true Cryme Tyme fashion, I stole from Wikipedia)

At five years old Shad’s father began training him in boxing and at age eight, he began training in a mixture of different martial arts.[3] As a student, Shad loved to fight and quickly developed into an aggressive fighter, winning many fights as an amateur.[3] His mother gave him the nickname “Beast” as a result of his aggressiveness.[3] At the age of sixteen, Shad began prize fighting for promoter “Hardbody Harrison”,[3] a former World Championship Wrestling wrestler and FX Tough Man Champion, in bar fighting tournaments such as Boxing, Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), and tough man competitions.[3] Even though Shad was only sixteen years old, he competed against adults who were older than him by five to twenty years.[3] Gaspard holds won-loss records as a No Holds Barred fighter (35-7) and an amateur boxer (57-26).[3]

As far as current wrestlers go, Big Show, Khali, and Mark Henry are all too slow. And nobody better say Mick Foley or Terry Funk. Just because you can take a beating doesn't mean you can win a brawl.

I'm actually gonna go with Chris Jericho after apparently being able to take down Goldberg, on the outside it looks like quite the accomplishment but to be fair, I'm not really sure how tough Goldberg really is despite his appearence.

lol Big Show, Izekial and Mark Henry would rape anyone in the locker room.

sericously, who's gonna take those bastards down? O_O

not rey, thats fo sho' ^_^

I dunno dude, those kicks to the thigh look pretty lethal, and should there be some kind of pole in your vicinity, you know he's gonna try and swing round it to kick you. Swear to God Mysterio in a real fight would probably resemble the fighting in West Side Story, except he'd most likely go flying off into the wild blue yonder as the result of a botch.

I'd say Big Show and Khali for the obvious reason that they're huge and could easily crush you. Show's even had boxing training and his fist is the same side as the average man's head. So unless you've blinded the guy, jumped him from behind or you're in fact the Flash, you're gonna get pummelled.

if finley could somehow smuggle a shalaleigh in to the fight it's over. but in the case of just a fair fight i'm sticking with kung fu naki.

I think Joey Styles would knock everybody out since he´s the last survivor of the original ECW that still kicks some ass XDD And he already proofed that JBL isn´t in his league so who´s going to stop the killer geek of doom ??

Anyone with some MMA training would be good in a real fight. Heck, Santino Marella was a fighter, so I give him a decent shot against many wrestlers in the back.

If the problem is Bitches or Goldberg backstage, I think Chris Jericho is in his element. He would release carnage on a bunch of people.

Now that Chris Brown has hit a pot hole in his career, I bet the WWE would be excited about bringing him in. That means Rihanna better back down, as well as all the Divas.

Other than that, maybe Tomko? He seems legit.

currently - its hard to look past big show

and khalis knees are shot to pieces so if they were targeted, he would soon go down

Active workers? I gotta say Big Show. Today's crop doesn't seem to have the legit tough guys that used to wrestle. Given equal skill levels, the bigger man almost always wins.

All time? Haku is a likely choice. Back in the late 90's I had the opportunity to hang out with a bunch of the WCW boys and while talking to Lex Luger, he plain out told me not to go near Meng. He said he was a nice guy, but the strangest things could set him off and with a completely straight face he told me he could take out everyone in the bar.

Meng definitely would win in a brawl.

A lot of peeps are saying big show but I think a smaller guy like finlay would ruin a lot of peoples day in an all out brawl.

Undertaker would probably do a lot of damage too.

HHH goes hiding under a table to avoid the confrontation with HBK preaching that violence doesn't solve anything

All time Bad News Brown has to be up there. I think he won an olympic bronze medal in judo, to along with being a legendary street fighter. I believe I read it in Bret's book but either way I know I read it somewhere about how he punked out Andre The Giant. I guess Andre said a racial slur on a bus and Bad News confronted him about it and threatened to kick the shit out of him and Andre apologized and backed down from it. You know you're a badass when Andre the Giant backs down from you.

All-time: Davey Boy Smith. There are many stories out there about Davey's strength. Probably the strongest wrestler during his time.
Currently: Undertaker. Before wrestling, 'taker used to work "collecting" for loan sharks.

lol, i forgot about that little factoid, plus he's well up on his ultimate fight stuff, so that on top of the fact that he's a bad ass that can take a swift kicking would suggest he'd whoop near enough anyone. But seriously, if you saw him walking down the street, looking uber pissed would you actually stand your ground?

as far as big show and khali go, anyone with half a brain would kick them straight in the kneecaps and oh dear, they re on the floor.

possible candidates have got to include batista, john cena and randy orton, simply for how big, muscular and athletic they are, as well as quick. (ok batista is not exactly QUICK). batista use to be a doorman so he must be pretty handy.

shad from cryme tym used to be a body guard for mike tyson!! as if he ever needed a body guard, there you have him, so shad would be pretty awesome in a fight.

mark henry may be ok due to his strength but he is slow and may buckle at the knees easily ;).

i read above that jericho took down goldberg? either goldbergs got a glass jaw or jericho is pretty handy so he deserves a spot on this little list.

just looking at the list of fighting styles, and due to his sheer size, koslov would be a pretty hard lad.

as for all time, well brock lesnar is the UFC world heavyweight champion, i know a locker room brawl would hardly be an octagon, but due to his size and real life fighting experience, he must be a favourite

For the record, Jericho taking down Goldberg was not in all aspects as cool as it sounds. Goldberg rushed him, and Y2J put him in a front facelock. For those who have actually been put in one, you already know that it is almost impossible to get out of one.

HHH said Big Show or Taker when asked a couple of years back on Larry King live.

Even though he's no longer employed with the 'E' I remember hearing that Elijah Burke has a pretty impressive amsteur boxing record so I would roll with him.

Ok people size doesn't mean anything if you don't believe me take a trip on over to youtube and look for fights you'll find em and there are pleanty of fights were some short skinny dude beats down some big built guy and they are funny. As for the question if everyone were to actually get into a brawl in the locker rooms...I'd have to go with either HHH (because part of his gear these past few weeks has been that sledge hammer and in a for real fight there are no rules your just tryin to win) Randy Orton (He was in the Marines for a while and even though he got bounced out they still had to teach him hand to hand combat) or the Undertaker (Because he's got fighting skills and seems to be pretty quick) that's just for whos active now as for who use to be I'd go with Bobby Lashley (He was in the Army Rangers so he has special forces training and he's pretty much built to fight)

I'd go with Shelton Benjamin. He's not only freakishly athletic but he is one of the few guys to hold an amateur wrestling victory over Brock Lesnar. Great combination of speed, power, and the ability to take down pretty much anyone he wants.

Big Show would be an obvious choice. A 400 pound giant with a year of pro boxing training. I'm sure if he hit you as hard as he could you wouldn't get up for a long time.

Anybody that came through the Stu Hart Dungeon has got to be tough as nails.

In his prime i think Tazz looked very tough. His judo MMA sort of style looks like it could take anybody down.

Booker T took it to Batista pretty well and tells stories about how he and Chris Benoit would hospitalise each other in their matches.

But Kurt Angle has to be one of the toughest guys in wrestling history. Olympic gold medals in wrestling are not won by weak pushovers. Shawn Michaels and HHH have complained that Kurt was too stiff in the ring. Those two veteran wrestlers who've been through agonising matches like Hell in a Cell actually complained about how Kurt worked with them.

I like lesner with his mma experience.

Also no one has mentioned kurt angle. He is an olympian gold medal winner in wrestling. If that doesn't give u credibility then I don't know what does. He could choke most people out no issues and also he is quick and atheletic enough to get around guys like mark henry, show etc

Agree???

My three in this order
1. Undertaker - He may be old be he has fast and hard hitting hands plus his size
2. Big Show - yea he's slow but all he needs is one punch out....he learned some boxing
3. Randy Orton - Surprise but like ronbot09 said he was in the marines and they are no joke and they do teach u hand to hand.

Mark Henry was the world's strongest man. I've heard stories about him being able to bend solid lead. He might be slow, but if he gets a hand on you, he can probably kill you in a second.

For current wrestlers, I would have to say that Koslov or Batista would put the big hurt on most of the active roster in WWE or TNA. If Koslov was able to nail someone with his straight front kick (which looks devastating, even in matches)... he is breaking ribs. Even though I don't really like Batista's style in the ring, I ran across some videos of him training in martial arts on the web (something like "Batista/Crump Workout") and he looks like he can actually throw down. If he could work some of that style into his in-ring persona, I think his stock would go up, big time... kind of like how 'Taker has gradually added submissions, etc. to his style. If I had to choose between the two of them, I would go with Koslov.
