Too Sweet To Be Sour
From PWInsider.com They are reporting John Morrison has been suspended, and that he possibly had a main event push coming his way before it happened. The story is below.

By Dave Scherer on 2011-09-03 10:22:31

Exclusive reports are saying that John Morrison, real name John Hennigan, has been suspended for sixty days for violating the WWE Wellness Policy. If this is true, it would be Morrison's second violation of the Wellness Program, after he was one of many WWE Superstars named in numerous articles during August 2007 to have purchased pharmaceuticals from an online pharmacy. He was reported to have purchased somatropin, anastrozole, testosterone, stanozolol, and chorionic gonadotropin between June 2006 and February 2007, and was suspended for thirty dues as a result of the violation.

Nothing has been announced by WWE as of yet, but if this is true, it could be a big blow in the plans of the WWE. There are reports coming from an anonymous source backstage that Morrison is planned to be used in a storyline with C.M. Punk soon, and it will be the story that could possibly elevate him into the main event, based on his performance. Tentative plans are for Triple H to defeat Punk at Night of Champions due to interference from Morrison, which will make Punk a full-fledged face and turn Triple H full-fledged heel and Morrison heel. The story would evolve from there, although nothing had been exclusively planned. It was plan B to the original plan, Punk defeating Triple H, which may not happen because creative and Vince McMahon aren't high on the idea of this feud ending so quickly. It is being said Morrison was chosen because Triple H is a fan of the work between the two on ECW in 2007. It is being said that he thinks the two have real chemistry and that he believes Morrison has potential to be a main event player given the right push. So it seems this couldn't have come at a worse time for Morrison. There will be more on this breaking news story as it develops.

Sounds a bit weird, but I have no doubt that Punk and Morrison could put on some great matches.

I'm going to agree with everyone else and say this is silly. John Morrison, in no way was going to be involved with CM Punk right now in this storyline. Plus it hasn't been announced by WWE, nor has Wrestlezone or any other sites reported the suspension.

Yeah, the "Main Event push" thing is horseshit just to add to the story, but I wouldn't be surprised if Morrison's suspended. When guys make a quick comeback from a serious injury, 99.9% of the time they had some 'help' making that recovery.

Morrison's impending main event push has lasted a couple years now, however this would've been a shitty way for it to come.

Seriously, of all people to interfere, Morrison? Daniel Bryan would be much better, turning him into a submission machine. Plus, they have the whole indy thing and the Money in the Bank. Really, I doubt Morrison would get any kind of a reaction even if he came out and took a shit on CM Punk's face.

If it's true I really do despair. I don't wanna think of what could have been with Morrison. There is every chance he could have been the next guy who made the main event through good matches alone.
