John Morrison: Face or Heel?

gj2000

Dark Match Winner
I did a similar post before on Randy Orton, and the results were mixed. Now, personally, i think John Morrison is just simply better suited to being a heel; but thats just my opinion. So, John Morrison: Face or Heel?

I think you'll get a lot of people agreeing with you on him being better as a heel. It makes a lot of sense since he's definitely got the look for it. He also cut some better promos as a heel.

But with his current push as a face I'm starting to think he's better off this way, at least for now. His face promos are getting better. They're not great by any means, but they're getting better. He's getting some of the best pops of the night consistently. I think when they had that match with him vs. Miz at the beginning of the year it was sort of a test to see how they could do in the main event together. I think he passed with flying colors. I'm hoping they were testing the waters to see if he could do it, and once these current feuds end he goes back into the mix. It's not like he's been buried since, still beating Sheamus and now DB.

So, while it didn't start out so well, the more it goes on, the more I like him as a face better.

I prefer him as a face. Morrison as a face could allow Orton to go back as a heel which he is among the best at (though that wouldn't happen, he'll be a mega-face forever now probably...). CM Punk, Miz, and Sheamus are doing a fine job as RAW heels, we don't need Morrison too. Cena and Orton seem to be the only face-worthy main-eventers on RAW until HHH comes back (probably tonight) but after his inevitable feud with Sheamus I could see him too turning heel. Keep Morrison face so he gets a huge fan base and watch the guy take off.

A lot of people seem to think EVERYONE should be heel. Morrison is actually being pushed as a face, which is unique in the WWE when you look at the past year or two (Swagger, Sheumus, Miz, Varrett, and whoever else) and I for one am enjoying watching a wrestler who's not doing the whole "underhanded victory" thing week after week... after week. Besides, Morrison has unparalleled athleticism which is part of the draw to watching him; its hard to dislike a guy who's that physically gifted.

I hope he stays face, and I hope he evolves from his current 60s druggy spinoff character.

Most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble: Funaki, with 25 eliminations in the 2011 Royal Rumble. I know I'm not suppose to post spoilers, but...

Morrison is without a doubt a face. From his rockstar looks to the parkour moves in the ring, he just has the image of a natural face which is rare in these days' wrestling. Sure his promos may have been better as a heel but I don't think his promos as a face have been god awful like some on here believe. But what really sets the face Morrison apart from the heel Morrison is his moveset. I haven't seen that many heels outside of the cruiserweight division who use the flashy moves like Morrison does. They are just designed to get cheers from crowd. Morrison has been receiving a better reaction as a face than he did as a heel. It may not be the popular choice but I believe it's the right one as JoMo is and should be a face.

morrison i a fanrastic heel, i love him so much better as a heel, just like randy orton. but he's obviously a pretty damn good face, he's getting a main event push as a face. i think they should keep building him up as a face until he's cemented in the main event. fueds with punk, miz. . i cant think of other top heels. but after he REALLY gets his spot in the main event, thats when he goes heel, giving him all that time to fued with top heels will give wwe plenty of time to build up another face to that level, or a returning face, then he goes heel and fueds with that person, orton or cena

JoMo is great at being both a heel and as a Face. If it comes down to it though, make him heel. Then we wouldn't have to watch him go all Bret Hart and gives his sunglasses to some little spoiled kid. I like his cockiness when he's heel too.

He could be a good face and a good heel. Just look at him from 2006 to 2008, he was a really good heel. Then look at him from 2009 until now, he has been doing a good job as a face as well. I prefer face, simply because of his moveset and his look, he's over with the fans, plus the WWE has far too many heels and not a lot of faces. Make him stay face :)
