John Cena and CM Punk vs The Rock and Stone Cold

Fantasy scenario......

Let's say Austin works with Punk at WM28....

And we already have Rock Cena.

Wouldn't the logical follow up, be the next night on RAW to have the two faces of the current WWE, vs the faces of the attitude era?

Would this be the biggest tag match of all time?

would you save it for PPV?

Would you want to see it?

I'd definitely want to see it but they should save it for a post-Wrestlemania pay-per-view like Summerslam. Let's face it if Rock and Cena were in a match together before their Wrestlemania encounter it would ruin the buildup. I just feel like these first time icon vs icon matches should just be a one on one match to get the fans more exited to see them both in the ring. Same thing for Punk/Austin if they get a Wrestlemania match they should save the in ring action for their first time ever match at Wrestlemania.

That would be damn cool, but yea like No Way Out in 2007, have it as the main event tag-match, it changes up the main event from a world title match and would create interest in the promo. I don't think it would be the biggest, it could be a big lead up to one of the biggest matches of all time. Have Punk and Austin vs Stone Cold and Punk. Would make for a damn interesting match at No Way Out (elimination chamber)

Everyday i get on this forums and i see a post about Punk vs Austin in any sense..
I am sick and tired of this talk,Lets face it,Austin is done and i dont want to see him again taking a place of another wrestler!!
Talk about future you all rather than the past and lets focus on matches like Punk vs Miz or Punk vs HHH which would be awesome..
Austin should not come back and WWE should never make that match happen,,austin needs to stay retire.PERIOD!!!

But honestly no. It would be stupid, especially JUST for Monday night raw. Tag matches like that always end up too crowded of ego and top performers that it ends up hurting other matches.. It's lame. Stupid idea.. If they were gonna do it (god forbid) it should be on a ppv.. But it would just be a waste of potential ppv match involving punk vs ..... And cena vs .... .dumb dumb dumb

If Austin was to work at WM, he would not wrestle the night after too...FACT

Infact, I would be surprised if he would ever wrestle again after a 1-off comeback match. However, yeah I would like to see this. I am never against seeing Austin or The Rock, and it would be a huge deal to have Rocky and Stone Cold teaming up out of the blue.

It would certainly be PPV worthy, probably the main event of Backlash. But, I doubt we will ever get to see it, however cool it may be.

Winner retains control of the WWE. Would be awesome and hell i'd fly out there to watch it let alone buy the PPV!

If Stone Cold does indeed face Punk at WM XXVIII, I think it would make perfect sense for Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock to face John Cena and CM Punk in a Tag Team match. I would have it either at the PPV before Mania, or at the very least, the Raw before Mania. I’d even have Vince McMahon in the corner of the Icons of Raw (Austin) and Smackdown (Rock), and then have Triple H in the corner of the current WWE Champions. I wouldn’t say this would be the “biggest” Tag Team match of all time, but it would be up there in the Top 10 as far as name value is concerned.

Naha and I hope the punk/austin match never happens, SCSA is too damn old, he's 46 years old and hasn't wrestled for 6 years. And it should stay that way. Cena vs Rock is probably the biggest match of all time, aside from rock vs hogan at WM18...why is everyone so hell bent on seeing punk vs austin or punk vs Jericho! Jericho is gone! get the fuck over it! fucking jericho marks...! jericho has done everything there is to do and has nothing more to do. Just like austin accomplished everything there was too in his time in the WWF/E. Punk=Austin of this generation and Cena=Rock of this generation.
