Jesse Neal on Food Stamps?

What the hell is wrong with you people? Not only are the majority of you coming off as completely childish, but plain heartless assholes. Does it make you feel good to act like you actually know everything that goes on in the industry when none of you have a single reliable connection, period? Half of you are ranting about how the original poster is a "dumbass and needs to get his facts straight before making such a horrible thread." Congratulations people, you've just made it clear youre either 12 or a complete social reject who has to act cool on a forum to sleep well. NONE of you know ANY facts about ANYTHING wrestling related that isn't shown on television in the ring. I wouldn't even estimate a fact per day is posted on this or any other dirtsheet site. And Twitter? Wow. People lie on Twitter more than they blink. Jesus, the guy made an error free post about the concerns of a wrestlers livelihood that he read on a website. I dont care if he isnt really on foodstamps. Almost every thread on here is full of shit, its about the discussion reoated to the topic, and hopefully a little truth is involved. But all of you are Neals best friend right? You think you know the truth cause you read a damn tweet. Grow up.

And the other half of you are saying "well he signed the contract", "he's not talented enough", "he should find a new job then". Wtf? TNA is the #2 wrestling promotion in the US. They're powered by a billion dollar energy corporation. They are on national television. Their employees, no matter how low on the card, should not have to be on food stamps, or welfare. Frankly, they should live quite comfortably. I'm not going to go into the quality of the product now, but the BUSINESS side of things are clearly horrendous when not just the most televised athletes, but among the most televised PEOPLE in our country are legitimately poor. There is no leverage for a wrestler in contract negotiations unless you are already one of the top stars. Not all wrestlers can work for the WWE. Not all wrestlers are physically capable of that demanding schedule either. If a wrestler makes it high enough to be signed by TNA, he should be freaking paid for it. You all are losing your damn heads about how bad Zack Ryder has it because he doesnt get a push, but when you hear a TNA wrestler might be on food stamps you shrug and say well he signed the contract? Absolutely pitiful.

Relax, dimwit. This rumor was confirmed to be false. Neal himself Tweeted that these rumors were bullshit. He just recently signed a new contract, he's not going anywhere and from what he said - he's happy in TNA. Here come the *****!

Stop believing the freakin's dirt sites, people! Think for crying out loud. Do some research. Look at the source. Wow ... I mean wow ...

You clearly have some issue with TNA, an issue that as far as I can see blinds your common sense and you can't think straight. Please keep your meaningless opinions to yourself. Especially when they're based on a thick layer of crap.

But, you know me, I can't just sit here and not scorch your ass for being ignorant.

1. Anderson is not a "shit wrestler". He's not good in the ring, but as a whole package he's one of the better ones out there. Not saying he's great, not saying he's bad. Not a shit wrestler.

2. Van Dam is also not a shit wrestler. Again, your biased opinion is making you overexaggerate and sound like a 12 years old moron, which I'm sure you are, mentally. I can name 15 TNA and WWE guys off the top of my head who couldn't come even close to his level of in-ring ability, and a lot of them are headlining their respective companies and brands. He's not as bad on the mic as some people make him out to be, but outside the ring, he's pretty "blah". Not a shit wrestler, though.

3. Hogan brings his name recognition to TNA. That's not nothing. To quote someone from TNA, Hogan can walk into any radio station or TV station on the planet and get an interview. He's influental and makes TNA seem credible in the eyes non-wrestling fans and potential business partners. As a businessman, would you rather have Hulk Hogan market your product or Dixie Carter? Stop ten people on the street and ask them who Hogan is. Then ask them who AJ Styles is, or Dixie Carter or even Eric Bischoff. That's what he brings. Like I said, it's not "nothing". Once again, wrong term. "He doesn't bring anything on TV that anyone else on the roster would" - that's the right thing to say and is 100% correct.

4. Right now Sting is better than he has been since his debut in TNA. People left and right who work in TNA are saying that Sting has this fire in his eyes that he hasn't had in a long time, and it shows in his performance. Sting is 52 years old and he's not showing one bit of rust or anything age-related in the ring or on the mic. Sting is a tremendous performer and at this very moment he's one of the most entertaining people to enjoy on Impact Wrestling. He's not Main Event material anymore? You're adorable. I bet he would be if he was working for the WWE, right? And yes, I am assuming that you're prefer the WWE over TNA. It's the whole "I like RVD but he's a shit wrestler" line that I believe gave you away. "RVD's great, I love 'um, but not in TNA". That sort of deal. If not, then I was wrong. Maybe your a ROH fan, which is way worse.

You are absolutely blind. And youve done both halves of what I just said. You also are continuously defending the worst aspects of TNA, a lot of which annoys me personally. So, at the slight risk of sounding hypocritical about picking on someone and people trying to act cool on the internet, I've determined that what the OP said and what youve said are on opposite sides of the spectrum. I'm probably in the top 5% of TNA supporters on this site actually, yet you honestly are the pure definition of obsessed. I've been lurking on this site forever, and in every TNA thread I see you completely disregard everything bad about TNA and literally argue how they have never made a mistake. I just cant take it anymore. First of all, you attack the guy for being a "moron" for not knowing facts, which you got from TWITTER. Which btw, what you posted is exactly what any PR rep would tell ANY client to say, especially if the rumor was true. Notice he never actually says he makes too much to get food stamps, only that you shouldnt believe all the rumors. I'm actually inclined to believe the rumors more basing it solely on the tweets you posted. You then comment about someone exaggerating like a 12 year old, which you then follow up with childish exaggerations of wrestlers. It also amuses me that you would attack someone for not thinking or knowing facts, yet then completely ignore his own statement about said wrestlers "wrestling ability" by going on and on about how many people on the street know who Hogan is and Stings mic work. I'm inclined to believe you dont know thing one about actual wrestling, made obvious by your comment about how bad it is to be a ROH fan. I'm sorry, those 4 wrestlers are shit in the ring. RVD is literally the most overrated wrestler in history. There is nothing he is good at except kicks. The day a wrestler becomes a good high flyer by doing a somersault and a frog splash is the day I stop watching wrestling. And yes, he is just as bad on the mic as people say. Anderson, while quite entertaining and not as bad as the rest, is literally a danger to his opponents and himself. He has nothing special up his sleeve whatsoever aside from being able to get injured better than anyone since Kevin Nash. Sting is great for a 52 year old, he is shit if being compared to anything else. Hogan. That's all I will say. Sure, theyre entertaining, and great "wrestlers" because of their success, but in ring they're horrible. You've also got a lot of audacity to comment on people being WWE or ROH fanboys. I've seen you defend horrible wrestlers, horrible storylines, horrible signings, horrible matches, but you seriously need to realize what youre doing. Because now youre defending management and how TNA is run as a business. There is nothing theyve done or would do that you wouldnt vouch for apparently. You can be a fan while still being honest about it. They make an insane amount of mistakes, noted by how little theyve grown in ten years. They've almost gone backwards. And I'm a FAN. Why? Because I love some of their wrestlers and a lot of their matches. But theyre still a horrible company ran by the worst wrestling promoter in history. Anyone who says otherwise is lying or insanely blind.

In closing, I hope Jesse Neal isnt on foodstamps, that TNA undercard wrestlers are paid better, and that the majority of this forum would grow up, learn about wrestling, and find an outside life so that they might be less annoying in here.

This is(at the risk of gross overstatement) the stupidest thing ever said on a message board. Rob is as technically sound in all facets as almost any man in the business. He has put on a number of very commendable "mat-displays"(read: not "extreme" or "high-flying" or "spot-fests", but pure technical artistry) just this year alone. Obviously his high-spots are legendary and his striking is some of the best and most unique ever, but his chain wrestling and ring-psychology are also at the top of the food chain, and he is able to work a match with essentially any other wrestler no matter there style and make it entertaining. He just had a great match with Joe on Impact this week, without any gimmicks or overly-ochestrated spots. I have seen Rob wrestle thousands of matches against hundreds of guys(many of those live), and I can say with confidence that I have never seen one I would call a "bad match" and have seen dozens of absolute classics.

There is nothing overrated about RVD from an in-ring standpoint, in fact, considering anyone would even dare take your stance proves that he may be severely underrated.

If true, this is really sad and I have to wonder just how "profitable" TNA really is.

True, but who is Jesse Neal? What i mean by that, is that until he showed up in TNA the only thing we knew about him was that he was on the USS cole when it was attacked buy Al-Qaida. This isn't a knock on him, but how much do you expect to pay for a guy that has no name value outside of TNA. If he was a guy like say Kurt Angle ( yeah i know he doesn't need the money, but for the sake of argument), then TNA would really look like shit for treating a wrestler like that (again if the story is true).
