It's actually January 5th, but you get the picture. Anyway, a year ago TNA debuted a whole host of big names, or at least "big for TNA" names, alongside Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff when they went head to head against the WWE for the first time. In retaliation, Vince McMahon booked Bret Hart onto WWE programming for the first time since Montreal.
The IWC saw this as the most exciting thing to happen to wrestling for years, and we all got carried away with it a little bit. A year on, there's still two wrestling companies, so it's time to pose a few questions:
Has anything changed significantly in wrestling over the last year?
Is the WWE's monopoly any closer to being threatened?
Have TNA's offensive efforts been a success?
Have WWE's defensive efforts been a success?
