Well shit, this is kinda a shock. While I was never a huge fan of The Sopranos, I did think it was a pretty good actor, & liked him in several other things.

Gandolfini was a fantastic character actor. He embodied power and violence in The Sopranos but he had a much wider range than that. This is definitely a massive loss for film and television, because I doubt there will ever be an actor who can portray a mobster as a family man quiet like Gandolfini. Rest in Peace Boss Man.
