J-Easy? J-Yeesee? J-That?

TheSnapshot

Dark Match Jobber
What about the new gimmick of Jeese? U think he´ll become like a third member of Cryme Tyme? Maybe he will do a Eminem/White-rapper gimmick?
I dont know, but I hope he competes more on Tv, cause the segments with CTyme are very funny , and I never thought that Jeese is so bad in the ring
Thoughts?

What the fuck!?

I honestly have no idea what the hell that title is supposed to say. I honestly though that this was a rap thread and you were acknowledging Young Jeezy. No joke.

Anyway back to the topic at hand. I think if Jesse is to be part of Cryme Tyme, then it could be very interesting to say the least. I think it would be a fresh take on the CTyme gimmick if he was to join. I think it is one of these things where you don't know what will happen until you actually give it a go. I think that if Jesse joins up with Cryme Tym in some way then it will be very entertaining and light-hearted, which I think Smackdown probably needs at the minute.

I have never liked the Cryme Tyme gimmick and I don't think it goes together brilliantly well with the PG era that WWE has entered into. I also don't think that it is written brilliantly well. It is clear that WWE has written them into black stereotypes. Every word out of there mouths is slang and they steal constantly. What message is this sending out. Similarly, they have nnever really gottena shot at anything. More WWE racism?. I mean can you imagine Vince thinking about what he wants Cryme Tyme to say? He is completely out of touch with these guys and has no idea of how to write them. I think though that if Jesse joins up, it will give it a whole new twist and might make it a little more enjoyable.

It seems that the WWE and rappers just don't get along ("The Game" Triple H/The Game and "Jeezy" The Superstar formerly known as Jesse/Young Jeezy) and hopefully they don't get sued over something as trvial and unimportant as this. However, they could go far with this. Build Jesse up as a heel, sort of like John Cena's old rapper gimmick. He could try to do freestyles to impress Cryme Tyme and such, but to no avail. So then he starts jumpiing people backstage, from Jimmy Wang Yang to Jeff Hardy eventually jumping Cryme Tyme. This could only work as a heel, because in this PG Era, I'm pretty sure the kiddies wouldn't idolize a thug. He could definitely be built up as at least a mid-card heel.

First of all, love the thread title. Dave, pretty sure Shad and JTG come up with their own lines. You can call them stereotypes, but I'm pretty sure they are just exaggerating their own personalities. I love Jesse doing this, simply because I was worried he was about to get the axe. I think it has potential. I see CT treating him like a lackey for a while, until he does something impressive to win them over, or he turns on them.

i guess it could work. have him try to join CT, they reject him, n he starts kicking their ass. or he is like their lackey or w/e but i dont see this happening and i think its just a comedy thing

Ughhh.....
This IMO is ******ed! I don't know the first thing about rap, 'coz I'm a die hard rocker! But what I do know is Jesse is just failing. Yeah he's gonna get a few cheap laughs, but what is that really accomplishing? Jesse has now gone from jobber to comedy jobber. Well I guess it's better 'coz more people will notice him, but for the wrong reasons. Another great talent killed. -_-

Jesse had a gimmich like this when he was in developmental and apparently it was pretty succesfull. Anything to get him on telivision is great because he is an amazing competitor that they are just putting to waste.

WWE should really consider having Jesse join Cryme Tyme. Have Jesse try to impress Cryme Tyme for weeks and weeks and weeks, then for some selfish reason, Cryme Tyme acts like they like him and recruit him. Jesse then shows them that he has what it takes to hang in there with the thugs. Cryme Tyme sees that and then permanently adds him to their group. I don't know... I'm just hoping that WWE doesn't completely waste Jesse. He's a 2nd generation superstar and I would hate to see him end up like Manu or Sim Snuka.

Meh I would care very little if Jesse was released. He ain't all that and I'd shrug it off and move on. Cryme Tyme is decent and worth keeping around at least. The only reason they keep Jesse around is because he isn't worth the unemployment check he'd get. Don't hurt Cryme Tyme by letting this boob join up with them. Your stereotyping even more if the only way Jesse is allowed in is if he proves his street cred. If they were respectible african american civilians theyd let him hang out with them regardless...lol.

Jesse is not a great superstar. He was managing Festus for so long and they just all the sudden split up. I don't understand the reasoning for this. Festus still fights. He was with Brian Kendrick about a month ago. Jesse should still be his partner. Jesse is what Cryme Tyme was talkin about on "Word Up" this friday July 3 09. He is a wang-sta. If he keeps going with this gimic he will be like that guy that always walked in with cena in te early days of WWE. Jesse will turn out to be a nobody, not like he allready wasn't. The "Asian Redneck" Jimmy wang yang will be the kind of guy Jesse will fight or even the local jobber.

Jesse wont join Cryme Tyme either. they allready wanna get away from him and it's been what 2 week's?
Jesse would not be a good addition to Cryme Tyme because they would not be able to nice three man tag move's to there opponents like Shad and JTG do right now.

Jesse is not even a good wrestler, i dont understand why he is still on the roster.

Never liked gangsta stuff...never liked Jesse...never liked Cryme Tyme although if I were in charge of the WWE I wouldn't fire them as they're definitely marketable.

Frankly, I don't find the segments funny at all. Just very amateur and boring. For fans of Jesse, its better than nothing, as he actually gets some air time. But in reality I don't think this will save his career. I wouldn't be surprised if he's canned when they do their next roundup of releases. I don't think we're looking at the second coming of Ray Gordy that will turn his career around and start pushing him towards singles championships or anything of the sort. By the end of 09 if he still has a job, I'll be shocked.

There has been alot of reports that Chad Gaspar (not sure on the spelling) can't wrestle. I'm sure this is a way to make them mor competitive. You may see a new team of JTG and Jesse who could actualy pull off matches.

This probably won't go on for long. Jesse will get side-lined, and eventually released, and nobody will remember him. A boring wrestler and entertainer, and right now the "Word Up" promos are the only thing keeping him going.

While usually any Cryme Tyme promo makes me want to shave my ass and shoot myself, the most recent one on Smackdown was actually pretty funny.

"Its... an Asian redneck."
"Ooh, very rare!" As Jimmy is looking into the camera like a deer was hilarious.

This leads to one of my problems w/WWe creative right now, Jesse is in what you'd think is a program....but you know it isn't gonna lead to anything. Just like TBK's program from June, if creative wanted it could turn into something new and permanent (especially since CT & insert that diva the skits have been with could be a mini faction, but eventually Jesse will be jobbing...then wished the best in his future endevors.

man i laugh every time i see him, its doin wonders for him, cuz he had no personality before, he was a jobber that had a spot on the roster cuz of the main attraction being festus. i like him beter than festus now cuz he has a personality. ppl should stop comparin him to early cena. it aint the same gimmick, cenas gimmick was hilarious at times but he was serious with it, like a gangsta. jesse is like malibus most wanted, hes a wangsta

It's funny for now, but that generally wears off after a few weeks. If they're going somewhere with it, then fine. If not, which I suspect, then he'll just be released in 6 months. I actually do thinl he's a decent wrestler, but he has to do something to prove he is worthwhile to the company.
