I know how hard it is Nofate, And you've got my sympathy, ive lost two dogs this year, one was only two, but we were so close he knew the sound of my car lol, he used to sleep on my chest at night, and he loved nothing more than being cradled like baby and having his belly rubbed.
the other dog was 16, i'm 19, so he's was with me as far back as i remember, but he was dying of cancer (jacks russles are known for it), and in the end he looked up at me one morning and knew he was in pain, i had to hold him as he was a fighter lol, it broke my heart, but at least I knew he wasnt suffering.
So yeah, Its hard but it will get better. im sorry pal
