Enduring Love is exciting. Ian McEwan is a fantastic author. Keep working on it, you'll get there. I often find that I hate books when I have to study them but looking back they are usually pretty good. I think that the question is stupid though, you could write the essay on why you feel its not exciting and how the question is bad because its so closed, books are supposed to invoke different feelings in people and not everyone is going to find an ending of a book good, you should write about that if you feel strongly enough about it because when you are passionate about your answer it gets written before you know it. I'd write that essay for you if I didn't have my one one to do tonight, no joke.
