As I've pointed out before, I'm a total mark. I'm not very informed or educated about pro-wrestling. I've been watching for a long time (20ish years, I'd guess?) but not from the standpoint of a fan in the know. I just watch to enjoy what I'm watching.
It works for me, but it makes it tough to contribute in the wrestling sections. I just don't have anything intelligent to add to most conversations. This, of course, leads to me being a bit of a bar-fly. I'd rather not be, though. So my idea was maybe to start doing a series of thread discussing/reviewing shows (Raw, SD, TNA, PPVs... not all that every time, just something here and there so as to not get spammy) from the standpoint of a mark.
Is this something you guys would be interested in? Would you actually be interested in the opinions of a mark on the shows you're watching as a smart member of the IWC? For example, I see quite a few of you guys thought the Cena/Orton match ending was stupid with all the constant stipulations being added. As a total mark, I loved it. I was genuinely excited about it. On the other hand, I don't really "get" Ziggler or Mysterio, so I completely tuned out during that match, but I understand quite a few in the IWC are very impressed with Ziggler.
Just thought it might be interesting to you guys to see the opinions of someone with a different viewpoint on what you're watching. If you just plain don't give a fuck, that's cool. I'll think of something else. Just playing with ideas. Not going to get offended if you say "Dexter, that's fucking ******ed."
