Carlito hasn't been very active lately.
He had the cage match with HHH and Vince used to jsut add fuel to the HHH/Vince fire. Granted that was only a couple weeks ago but what has he done since that?

What has he really done in the past month or so, he got squashed by HHH.

He didn't have a No Mercy match and he didn't have a match on Raw.

Do you think he is being punished for something?

I can see him fading into obscurity - Before getting a move to SD - Where I thought he was potentially one of the best. He is one of my favorites - Along with Edge, Y2J, Shelton and Taker, And it frustrates me that those with wrestling talent seem to be pushed off the main events because of their lack of mic skill, Carlito is a good all round wrestler, but the Face's always have to win, Jeff Hardy seems to win almost every match he is in, Triple H seems to win all of his matches, and Batista is the prime example (along with mysterio) - How on earth could he even challenge Khali in a 1 on 1 match?

Carlito isnt getting buried, he was previously in the IC title division, untill Ric FLair kind of pulled him out, his heel turn and pulling him to the main event. He cant start beating top faces like Cena & Triple H, so obviously he wil be losing right now, but everyone must go through the cycle...some more than other, you win some you lose some, Carlito will be ontop one day, but he has to get his ass kicked first

I'm not sure if he's getting buried but it certainly seems like he's getting wasted - the same can be said for the likes of shelton and everyone else in that middle weight division. Except Hardy. WWE needs to stop focusing on the one big match and start using all the talent they have. I miss the old WWF days when the IC title was hyped just as much as the heavyweight title.

I think the main point is that they are still trying to get the right kind of character out of him.
I know this time last year when he was face, he seemed to be really over with the fans at a live show i went to so i do feel they could have pushed futher with him as a face. Maybe they could have kept him and flair together with carlito learning more and more of flair all the time.

Instead flair seems to be gone and carlito is not doing a lot!

well i dont think hes getting buried yet but i think hes not main event material on RAW, raw has been nice enough to give him some IC title runs, but thats about where his level is at right now, no offense, hes got some skills in ring but thats about it... they should send him to SD.. he could compete for the US title with MVP and Matt, he could learn a lot there, matt got much better there, then from there after hes learned some new things he could come back to RAW

so hes not getting buried, latley he has been getting squashed but hes actually kinda past the IC division, wich is a pretty big step for him, but i feel he should go to SD...

Yes definitley, a big sign of that is how Cena goes down, and the whole Raw is put into shambles.

Notice when people came out to shake Orton's hand on Raw, that there was no one on stage that would be put in a legitimate PPV feud with Orton, it was all jobbers/tag teams/ and midcarders.

No one is pushed except for the topstars, and they wonder why the PPVs dont sell, its because they build everything around the main event and fill the rest with a bunch of crap. I hope they learn from having Cena out that 1 man cant run an entire show

when they first send him to raw he was cool he had the ic belt ..a good mid card heel but they turn him face team him with ric flair n torrie wilson????? then try 2 turn him heel again when ppl started to forget about him..it's ova for him the only way to save him is to hav him help randy orton keep the belt from hbk or hhh

Thats sigworthy right there. It's so true. With John Cena gone now, they have no one man to represent them. So this is a good thing. Noiw they have no choice but to build one or more huge guys to take over, and then when Cena comes back, have them all huge stars. eople were saying when "The List" came out, that that was the time to step up and make a name while the roster is thin. Well if that wasn't the time, this definatly IS the time. Although I'd love to see Jericho, and I currently am proud to see HBK back, I think the WWE should have been doing their homework so that we didn't have to resort to a few 3 weeks ratings boosts. Thats whats going to happen. 3 weeks after they return, we'll all forget they left and it'll be meaningless. They need to build people like the Hardys, MVP, Carlito, Shelton, all those guys. When John Cena don't return in three months once the injury bug bites again, the WWE will kock themselves if they don't pull it together.

No, he isn't being buried, though he is NOT being utilized. I agree that the Cage Match was only done to add feul to the fire for the Triple H-Vince saga, but in time he will be given what he needs, a big push. I think he can come off as a great heel if he is given the opportunity, but first the Creative Writing team needs to establish a solid storyline for him. Perhaps involve him in the Jeff Hardy-Kennedy feud somehow, or something along those lines.

The sole thing Carlito is lacking is a push. If he had a nice push to mid-upper card status, he could be great. WWE is moving at a slow pace now due to lack of talent, but as has been mentioned before, this lack of talent could be a GREAT opportunity for WWE to progress some of its 'lower-card status'. Shelton Benjamin, Cody Rhodes, Charlie Hass, Ken Kennedy, Super Crazy, and Val Venis could all benefit from this undersized roster size. With patience, committment, and a strong, dedicated work ethic, the superstars I listed, plus others, could have their moment to shine!

sorry but i think there are some lower mid carders that dont really need a build up, i dont think WWE should be spending there time pushing guys like val venis, super crazy, charlie haas, hell send them to ECW... the roster is already thin and those guys would be great there

as for shelton, WWE tried pushing him a lot, though it seems shelton made if difficult for them to push him since he was always complaining about something and didnt do things the way he was asked, shelton not being bigger isnt WWEs fault, its his, he was beating HHH and HBK, they were building shelton up a lot, then he screwed up

they tried building kennedy up to a main eventer twice and shit happend... twice...

and carlito seemed like he needed some more dedication and thats why they teamed him up with ric flair

i always thought WWE should push these guys, but the problem is that they always mess up their own push...

I think carlito is getting buried because of his lack of meaningful fueds. The wwe needs to give him so fueds before they throw him in there with hhh. Also he whined about not being a heel, then when he gets his wish he doesent give 110 percent. He has potential but he needs some help from the wwe writers.

Carlito would do better in SD! b/c of the lack of mid carders on that brand. All I recognize is MVP/Hardy and Palumbo/Masters. Start something new with Carlito and have him start a new Evolution Group with Edge as the ring leader and Dykstra and Masters along with Carlito as group members.

I don't think he is being burried, no doubt he will be involved in a story soon. I see Carlito in that next rung down from the top, awaiting someone to move so he can be brought up.
I was actually looking forward to him fueding with HHH, I think that was exactly what Carlito needed to take that step to the next level. But that ended quicker than expected so guess he will have to wait.

The problem with Carlito right now is that his spot is being filled by Kennedy (not to say I dislike Kennedy at all, cause he's one of my top five favorites).

The feuds we have right now on Raw are: HHH/Umaga, HBK/Orton, Hardy/Kennedy, Santino/Venis, Londrick/Highlanders/Cade & Murdoch, Holly/Rhodes. Carlito has nowhere to fit in, just like Shelton doesn't. When we see Lashley return, he'll probably be positioned around the top midcard and low WWE title picture, and by that time, Kennedy will have moved up to the WWE title scene. That leaves us with Hardy and Lashley to deal with guys like Shelton and Carlito for the IC title. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a Rhodes/Shelton or Rhodes/Carlito feud down the line after his story with Holly is wrapping up.

At the very latest, Carlito will be back in the swing of things by the Royal Rumble, I'd say.

Carlito is getting buried becase of the Rhodes, Santino and Val Venus pushes right now. There isn't enough room for him, Sheldon or Snitzky on the roster right now. ONce Lashley gets back, and if Jericho comes back, things are going to have to change anyway.

Carlito is cool. He has been active because WWE has been running out of Talent since all of their wrestlers are on injuries. But Seeing Carlito in the ring makes it cool!

I don't think he is being burried but that Creative has nothing really to do with him. They sort of are stuck at if he should be main event or mid-card. IMO carlito should be in the ic title picture with Hardy & Kennedy. I think this may be a way to get im off raw & onto smackdown. Creative seems to do that, they will job the wrestler out a couple of times than switch him to another brand where they become big again. I think Carlito has potential and will be at main event level someday but not now. Also not every wrestler can be pushed and on raw every week, and they maybe will be giving Shelton or someone else a chance like they gave Carlito.

I wish wwe would send carlito to be a big time heel on smackdown becuase he is defintly getting buried on raw. There is too many big names on raw for him to be takin as legit. HHH ,HBK,Orton,Jeff,Keneddy,Lashleys coming back,Cenas Coming back, and With Y2J on the way the is no one he could fued with exept hardy and i think even hardy might be out of his reach on raw. ON smackdown he could fued with ,Matt,Palumbo,Batista(if he got over with the fans)Mysterio,Kane,Taker those are better then Jobbing to british bulldogs son on heat.

I agree wholeheartedly.
Carlito is one of my favourite characters to arrive in the WWE in the last 4 years. His ring presence, looks, mic skills, are all top notch.
He was a rubbish face in my opinion but I can't get enough of his arrogant cocky heel persona!! Definately should be a future I.C champ, if not WWE champ!!

"Thats not cool!"

Unless WWE plans on burying Carlito with all of their faces on Raw they should IMO move him back to SD! He had a decent run on aw, won the IC championship etc, but now there really is not much left for him on Raw besides getting eaten alive by the likes of HHH and Umaga. I could see him making another run for the IC title in the future, but right now it seems that WWE is pushing Kennedy for that. I think that if Carlito got moved to SD! it would help him out greatly. He has a lot more skill, charisma, and anything else I an think of then he did when he was on SD! the first time. Send him over there slap the US belt on his and there ya go a new heel champ for people like Hardy to feud with. Hell with his gimmick Carlito could be a top heel on SD!. So to answer the question is Carlito being buried? Yes on Raw I think he is, but I think he'd fare just fine anywhere else in the WWE.

I actually liked Carlito's character with Aaron Aguilera (sp?)...he had the henchman of sorts. You could say that I would equate that to a Christian Cage/ Tomko sort of thing. I definitely agree with Carlito moving to the Undertaker/Batista show otherwise known as Smackdown. Maybe being brought over with the persona of a Cuban being held down on Raw because of his race. Of course I always felt that if they ever gave Armando Estrada his own faction like the original plan for him, Carlito could definitely be the centerpiece...

yes i agree with you guys get Carlito over to Smackdown - he would certainly be an intersting mix in the US title division and coul possibly team up with Chris Masters again
