IGN.com said:A massive explosion rips through six square blocks of Empire City, leveling everything and everyone in its path. At the center of the blast crater a lone man has survived the event and has been changed forever. From the creators of the award-winning Sly Cooper series, Sucker Punch brings you inFamous, the first open-world action-adventure title exclusively for the PlayStation 3 system.
Players will experience what happens when a real person suddenly starts developing super powers. Will they exact revenge, protect the innocent or do little of both? These are the situations gamers will face when immersed inside a richly interactive and organic living city. A place where actions create broader reactions in the citizens and landscape around them. inFamous lets players unravel an evolving mystery, experience fame and/or infamy and battle powerful, iconic villains all the while feeling what it is like to become a modern day superhero.

I'll break my review down into 4 to 5 sub-sections to make it easier to follow.
Firstly, I'd like to talk about the Graphics:
Although these are not nearly in the same league of the current next-gen graphics, it still is quite a feat as the scope of the game is huge.
No loading screens as you travel from district to district. Great textures and a lot of unique animations of Cole (the main character) is amazingly detailed. I experienced no frame rate drops while doing the craziest things you could imagine. Great Job Sucker punch!
Oh and I love the comic-style story telling!
As for all Sand box game, this game suffers from pop-in and occasionally you'll fly 'into' buildings or you fly right through a wire that you wanted to grab on to. The animations are quite still when it comes to story clips. The facial expressions are quite lifeless, but the body as a whole has great animation when your not standing still and talking to folks that is. ^^
Graphics: 4.5/5
Not the best, but I have to give credit for it being on-par, if not better than, the best graphics of a sandbox game.
Next up, Sound.
The voice acting is great. Except sometimes I wonder why Cole has a 'grave' voice like Old Snake's voice. Never the less, the voice acting is great, I never felt it was lifeless.
First things first, the soundtrack of this game is ABSOLUTELY amazing.
BUT, you rarely get to hear it. You'll hear no b/g music till you are int a mission or in a big battle. This made soundtracks a rare happening throughout the game. I wish I could have listened to it more than what I have the three times I've finished the game.
Sound: 4/5
Now the jewel of this game, the game play.
Game play hasn't been so varied, diverse and fun since the ps2/xbox era. The developers have this magical AI that knows what your trying to grab on to while your climbing building or doing long jumps. It makes all the urban exploration so much easier and fun. Instead of it being frustrating, they made it a quite friendly experience. During battles I never had to think about when I should time this jump, at what speed and direction. I could just wing it and still successful complete the stunt while battling of hoards of enemies.
There are some bugs as mentioned before. Sometimes you'll be trying to grab a wire and you'll fly right through it. And other times when you'll try to lock on to a downed enemy/pedestrian/ally you'll get stuck for a bit. But nothing game killing, the game play is perfect the way I see it. There are 16 unique powers and these powers earn different attributes depending on what side you choose. Making the 16 powers different on a evil and good run.
The karma system is great too. While the choices are obvious between good and evil, its a great addition to the great game play they have. Although the main story stays the same, dialogues change and the enviroment too! Its a great experience to try out both good and evil.
Game play: 5/5 Around 20+ hour game play for each run. And you'll want to play it twice (good and evil)
From what I've already described, the Fun Factor in this game is huge!
There are about 100+ missions and 15 karma side missions. All are fun, but there are some repetitive missions. The great thing is that you'll never have to repeat the same type of mission more than 4 times, which keeps the game from being repetitive. The little karma moment's that you'll run into while your in the street only add to the fun! The city is really alive and it makes the player care.
Fun Factor: 5/5
Verdict:
Get it! It may have no online part, but that's not what makes a great game. This is the best sandbox game i've come across, In the superhero sub genre.
