Imposing Beliefs on Children

Actually, even though I'm an athiest, I would actually agree with those parents who impose their beliefs on their children. Religion teaches morals and the difference between right and wrong.

I agree with this statement. While I am Agnostic, my wife is Episcopalian. She takes my kids to church and I'm ok with it. I'm against FORCING religion onto anybody, but I don't think it hurts to introduce it kids. I was raised in a very devout Catholic family, but made my own decisions/opinions when I became an adult. Now, I refuse to set foot into a church unless it's for a wedding or a funeral...and I'm ok with that.



As far as politics go, I won't touch that one at all, because me and politics are like oil and water...and by oil and water, I mean I have gotten into physical "I'll punch you in your fucking face" confrontations over it.
