Shut up, Ned! You wanna redneck? You wanna redneck trump? Get my bags! Get my baaaags!
Sorry I missed the LD. A few notes on the convos you guys had:
-The Revolution is the type of idea where the recruitment was going to be the only interesting part. Once you realize that there's no purpose other than to have a group, it ceases to keep interest. I mean, did we ever find out WHY Storm recruited these guys and why they need to be a group?
-Tessmacher over Taryn for sure. In person, that becomes a lot more evident. Especially if you sit behind Brooke.....
-For a short time, the WWE had two "factions" that worked in The Shield and The Wyatt family. This is the first time in a while it really worked for them and why? 3 members each and all the guys, while new to TV, were treated as big deals from day 1. I don't know enough about this indy guy in The Rising but if they treat him like a big deal, maybe it'll work.
-To take it farther, today's wrestling fans don't just accept people being put into little groups just because anymore. We need reasons and feuds with them. Back in the 90's, you could make 3 dudes into vampires and have it work solely on a cool entrance regardless of the fact that there wasn't much else to them. Today, you can't get away with that. Proof is in the Revolution and Wyatts. At some point, the novelty isn't enough.
-Having nothing to do with Impact, BIG announcement coming soon for my radio show. I'll keep you guys posted.........
