'iMPACT' Taping Invaded by Terrorists

If you count the British as terrorists, that is. Personally I do.

So, we got a heel stable... or possibly just tag team with manager called the British Invasion. Don't get the name. There have been too many British invasions in history for that to be considered clever wordplay.

So, yeah, the stable is Doug Williams, Brutus Magnus and some big cunt. They wore Union Jack tights and beat LAX. I hear rumour they took out Hernandez, who needs a week or so off to have minor surgery.

So, is this going to be anything long term or just a stepping tone on Supermex's road to stardom?

I'm going to go ahead and say it; poach William Regal.

At least they finally picked something for Magnus. If my memory is right, there never were Gladiators in England.

That being said, this likely isn't going to last long. There's already the Sheik's Army as a foreign stable, but since this is TNA, it could be around for years as they seem to think people are interested by these big foreign teams. This will likely lead to another Super X Tournament that few will either understand or care about. THere's nothing special here as none of the guys are big enough names. I though Magnus had been released actually. It's different, but nothing special.

I hope to god the british stable either disbands or joins Sheik's army and attempt to takeover TNA or drop the manager and just be a powerhouse tag team. As for the Union Jack that was just to bring back Bulldog memories. I liked their match it was decent considering what TNA had given them. I see a future ahead of them leading to tag team gold. They both have skill and could make as separate singles after a while. If they join the shiek it'll probably birng together the MEM adn frontline to fight a common enemy Foriegners, for a common cause freedom ending the feud and slowly after having team USA led by Angle beating Shieks army in a classic NWO ripoff.

If they wanted a forign stable they should have just stuck with team canada. But they didnt unfortunately. I miss team canada i thought they were great and that 'dont fire eric' thing at the end was fantastic.

As long as TNA doesnt go overboard with them, then I dont see a problem with them being around. They could bring some freshness to the tag team division, and force WWE to follow. Plus Ive watch some wrestling videoes of Doug Williams, he is a great wrestler and would do while not only as a tag team competitor but a singles competitor as while.
The only two wrestlers i would add to this faction would be Nigel Mcginess and William Regal but we all know thet isnt going to happen anytime soon.

i personally like the stable. They have the great tag team and then the muscle to back them up. I am interested to see where it goes...i am glad they finally found something for brutus magnus.

I'm interested to see where they go with the new stable, and to see what that big ripped dude can do. Although I really really wish they'd change Brutus Magnus' name. To me it's the worst name I've ever heard for a character. Even just dropping one of the names would work better and have him either be called Magnus, or Brutus.

No, but there were gladiators from England, Romans often used prisoners of war as gladiators in arena combat, so it is historical fact, however, I have no idea if they renamed them in Latin or if they gave them gimmicks and such.

...what are you talking about?

Don't call me and my country GOD DAMNED TERRORISTS. I thnk the stable has some potential...maybe...if they get lucky...who am I kidding. They're doomed to suck.

I don't know if it'll be that bad honestly. I mean, it might turn up good... The Anti-Americans, Lance Storm, Christian, and Test was pulled off nicely. So, you never know. Brutus Magnus is a very good ring performer, and Doug Williams is very good too. I don't know about their gay manager though, He's a different story.

This is like a watered down, crappy version of Team Canada. When they came in, no one knew who they were and they turned out to be a damn fine group of guys. (Team Canada, I mean)

Magnus is similar to Petey Williams, but without the flashy finisher to catch people's eyes. Doug Williams.. I've heard of him, but that's about it. And the big tall guy.. seriously thought they rehired A-1 and put him in a Union Jack kid's t-shirt. Honestly.

Can't say I believe this group will accomplish anything. Seriously. They're debuting in a time when factions are overflowing in T.N.A, and they aren't on the up-in-up, so they're gonna become a fad and thing of the past. Think of the Flock, during the n.W.o run.

Magnus isn't even impressive, and the only thing that truly makes this trio stand out is the matching tights. Seriously just not impressed. I wish William Regal and Paul Burchill would've been put in a group like this, on E.C.W.. it would've worked better.
