Having Dutch Mantel and Bruce Prichard as on screen characters in 2017 though.......I'm really not sure how well that's going to be received.

Del Rio lost any interest I had a LONG time ago. If he's a heel he's death but a face run is intriguing.

Depends how motivated ADR is. He isn't going to push the needle outside the Hispanic market, but if he is motivated he can hold his own in the ring.

They did have Dutch cut a promo where he ran down all the latent they used to have that went to WWE. Said they lacked leadership and vision. I get taking a jab at old management, but they shoot down AJ and Roode and Joe, those guys carried TNA.

The man known as Zeb Colter in an alternate universe comes out. Dutch says this is the first time he appeared on Impact. Dutch talks about how much he loves wrestling. He mentions being in Impact and then runs through the roster the last time he was here and mentioned AJ, Joe, Sting , Roode, Nash, and more. They left because of a lack of leadership and vision.

According to what I'm reading on reddit, yes. He also included names like Nash and Sting in the promo. It sounds like he was shooting on old management, and those guys got caught in the crossfire.

Oh, bit of a laughable moment for me. Brandi Rhodes was supposed to have a match, which Cody interrupted on the grounds that "no one is going to pimp out the Rhodes name."

They said it was a title match. Dusty finish, with ADR leaving with the belt despite referees trying to sort out what happened.

I get that you want a shock moment to try to pop ratings, no pun intended, but ADR is the guy you go with???

Seems that way, which is good as Josh was driving me nuts as the heel commentator tonight. HAving a heel commentator is a good thing but having him as your lead play by play man doesn't work. It didn't work for Michael Cole and it's not working here. Bringing in JB as a face play by play man is fine and makes this work.
