Impact Support Club House

Yes, but TNA doesn't air on Discovery channel, it airs on Destination America, whose target audience is the 'murica crowd.

I mean, have you seen the shit they advertise for on that station? Ghost Asylum? Mountain Monsters? Buying the Bayou? Whatever that show about finding Bigfoot is? They're catering to the most back woods American folk there are — people who believe in ghosts, big foot, like fishin' (as opposed to fishing) and who may, possibly, also enjoy pro wrestling.

Basically... this guy.

Got that, but they have the redneck programs for those guys - the deal with Impact and subsequent efforts to get behind the product gives the impression that they are trying to break beyond that stigma. If they really wanted to go down this line, why not go full hog and make the redneck poster boy James Storm their hero world champion? They've chosen Angle and Terrell (over 'Hardcore Country' Mickie James) for their more encompassing appeal, they've signed Brits, resident redneck JS is still a heel... I still think one report slightly contradicts the other.

I have this really weird thing with being able to recognize patterns.

You're thinking of this from the perspective of a TNA fan. If Destination America was trying to break beyond that stigma, they would be following up their acquisition of TNA by producing newer, more "general audience" programming. Which they aren't.

If this is what Destination America is looking for, there's bound to be some tension since TNA has such a strong presence in the UK. And yes, you might see Redneck James Storm at the top of the card down the line- we're only three months into this whole Destination America thing. But I don't think it's the kind of issue that will cause TNA to change their overall business plan when it comes to providing two hours of tape per week.

Wasn't that keen on this past week's show. Seemed like a step down compared to previous weeks. Don't really want EY anywhere near the main event and the ending to the triple threat just boggles my mind as to why you'd have Angle cleanly pin Lashley, totally wiping away any interest in a third match between them. Not sure where Angle goes from here.

Nice to see Homicide back though. His character fits in perfectly with the BDC and he's a solid name to replace a star like Joe.

The funny thing about that Destination America rumor is that not long after another one popped up saying TNA had plans to tour India, Australia, the middle east and Japan by 2016.

I was under the impression that Manik's lovable idiot gimmick was just a gimmick. He's really signing checks with a fucking pencil?

@OfficialTAZ: Like to thank TNA Wrestling for the opportunity to apply my craft for past several years. Best wishes to them in the future.

He's done. Who now?

I wish they could get Edge to fill the spot. I think he'd be an alright commentator. But what I do I know, I digress.

This is why I don't like TNA working with House of Hardcore. House of Hardcore just signed a deal with a low level station that most fans haven't heard of. That's legitimately good for them and something they can be proud of as it means more people can see them. However, when TNA works with them, it makes them look low rent and comes off as a step down with them. Yeah TNA can work with them, but TNA should think they're above House of Hardcore, because they are. Just because you can work with someone doesn't mean you should.
