Impact Support Club House

I remember being told to wait and see what would happen when he was named a Lockdown captain.

I waited. He did nothing and was then released. Should I keep waiting?

Lol I guess we'll never know. I hate when angles never come to a closure and are just dropped like we're stupid and will never notice.

I'd take three Orlando Jordans drizzling milk over their crotches before I'd care to see Garrett Bischoff do anything besides serve me a hamburger.

Orlando Jordan at least had something to work with, even if his gimmick was either five years ahead or ten years behind its time. Garrett Bischoff was the most blatant case of nepotism in a company that almost got killed by nepotism.

It's pretty disappointing to see The Wolves give up the titles. I never knew you could break your heel. That has to hurt like a bitch.

I'd like to see Davie go into the X-Divison as it really needs life. Isn't Davie an EMT? It'd be fitting for him to bring life back to the division.

(Pun intended I guess)

This.

And Jordan could at least wrestle worth half a damn.

Baby Bischoff was fucking awful.

“Paul [Levesque] is in charge. I found that out when I contacted Vince [McMahon]. I’ve always had a good relationship with Paul, so I didn’t consider that a problem. But he decided they had enough talent. For the Vince McMahon who I knew, enough was never enough. He always wanted more. I don’t know what was going on over there, but they even canceled our meeting. I never went to see them. They didn’t even sit me down and talk to me.

It blew my mind. It was as if I was a nobody, that I wasn’t Kurt Angle. From a wrestling standpoint, they just weren’t interested. But TNA not only stepped up, they gave me everything I wanted – the dates, the money, and it’s no secret that I’ve went to rehab in the past, and they gave me time off. You talk about a company that’s loyal to you, and you want to be loyal back. So I didn’t pursue the WWE any further. When it comes down to it, you’ve got to stick with the people who want to take care of you. And [TNA president] Dixie Carter took care of me.”

I'm glad WWE didn't want him. They probably would have gave him the Christian treatment.

Most likely. I mean there's good potential feuds to be had (Rusev, Swagger, Cesaro etc) but the likelihood of them doing anything with it is slim.

Terrible as it is, to be quite honest, I'm getting sick of reading about Kurt talking about going to WWE. You're in TNA. You're the TNA World Heavyweight Champion again. Deflect questions like this to positives for TNA. I get that people are going to ask over-and-over, but your job as the representative of this company is to praise them, not continue to talk about how you had interest in leaving.

The right answer should have been something closer to "Every free agent tests the waters to see what is out there and what may be available. But TNA has been incredibly loyal to me, and treated me right from day one. When it comes down to it, you’ve got to stick with the people who want to take care of you. And [TNA president] Dixie Carter took care of me, so this was an easy decision to make".

Exactly. He'd be jobbing out on Superstars if that show is still on.

IDR, that's TNA's problem with their wrestlers. They never promote TNA to the fullest. I do think however, Angle did a good job towards the end and simply said why leave what treats you great. It shows me how fucked up WWE really is. I mean, Sting lost and shook hands with Triple H only to have Triple H bash him later on during the night. If that's not showing true colors then idk what is.

Of course it did. But this is standard PR stuff I'm talking about. You always spin things positively for who you work for.

I wouldn't touch Swagger with a 10 foot stick.

...was he released or something?

So give an answer like a Politician? Which would be answer the question without truly answering the question. Or would it have been best to answer the question like "what is WWE? I'm the TNA World Heavy Weight Champion that's what matters. Oh it's real, it's damn real!"

No, you give an answer like the one I just wrote above. You acknowledge the question, kind of, and then spin it favorably for your team/company.

Gotcha. It makes sense. I hope TNA cracks down on this and enforces their talent to push the company they work for.

Well that's good. I don't read to many interviews so my knowledge is limited. But your exactly right especially Angle bring WHC.

I still think it's a mistake in having Lashley lose. But if it means ECIII beating Angle for the title then it's worth it.

What ever happened to Samuel Shaw? He ended up no where fast.
