Impact Support Club House

True story, Kurt Angle once said he was going to kill Jeff Jarrett in an interview around the time and that he'd never work with him again. Turned out he only tried to kill him on TV.

I've never been a Jarrett fan but their rivalry was pretty entertaining. They made a damn good job of showing that Angle wanted to kill him.

Thanks, makes sense. Stupid Jarrett, he should have spoken about the relationship to someone. It did make for a great street fought between Angle and Jarrett.

Man, some of the things wrestlers do... I don't know how he did that angle with Jeff and Karen. I wouldn't be able to make that real-life hardship into galvanized wrestling TV.

Yeah, that angle with Matt, Edge and Lita was awkward for sure. I agree 100% with that if you fuck with my wife you just fucked with your life. But, TNA was very entertaining at that time. I patiently wait for Fridays now.

From TNAInsider via PWI Podcast:

“I don’t have anything but respect for TNA. They made a really good offer to me, and I’m really grateful for that. The reason I didn’t go there is because those guys at Lucha Underground helped me in all my legal proceedings against WWE. So I owed them that. It was not a matter of not wanting to go to TNA. It’s just that Lucha Underground and AAA, they paid for my legal services. They introduced me to my lawyer. And the reason I’m working right now is because of them. WWE wanted me to stop working in the United States for a year. And that was going to happen if it wasn’t for these guys. I’m a stand up guy. If you help me, I’ll return the favor one day. That’s what I’m doing with them. Plus, they made me a good offer.”

Someone did. It just wasn't Del Rio.

Nobody credible. It was probably wrestling newz sites trying to make a story out of nothing, but the only thing reported about Alberto's feeling toward TNA were that he was uneasy about joining and just wasn't interested. That's all.

I'm certain if they didn't put that dumb exclusivity clause, he would've signed without hesitation. Probably the moat boneheaded decision TNA has done.

He clearly wanted to give back to Lucha and AAA, and the exclusivity probably prevented him from being able to do so.

My guess is ends up working for TNA down the line.

Yet the word right from the horses mouth says he has nothing but respect for them, and that he was very grateful for the offer. When you read between the lines, that, at least to me, indicates he and TNA both had mutual interest.

This business about TNA being a career killer, whomever said it, or what you are saying about an uneasiness, etc. are all nonsense after-the-fact additions that are being tacked on for dramatization of what was clearly not a dramatic situation.

You do know that the podcast is part of an eight page interview that he'll have in the next PWI, and that this was just a teaser PWI do to get you to buy the magazine right? He said one thing, one little thing, but here's the fact - he didn't sign with TNA, it doesn't look like he's going to sign with TNA, hes signed with Lucha Underground, ROH and AAA. He's their talent, not TNA's.

Translation: TNA HURT MY FEELINGZ! I HATEZ DEM NAW!

Yes, I understand he didn't sign with them. No, I won't be buying any magazines. And no, there's nothing here indicating he won't be signing with them. You know what indicates you won't be signing with a company? You actually saying so.

In other news, Impact in South Africa is a go! Looks like SuperSport poached it seamlessly. Hectic couple of weeks, but got some Impact action during lunch today. I quite like the new look, but I miss Tenay.
