Impact Support Club House

1 point = 1.3 million viewers.

Give or take.

So, even with the number being the total number of viewers, the rating it still higher than the prior year.

4.6/1.3 = 3.5 rating.

Yeah, but not higher than the 2006 rating. What your saying is right, but doesn't prove what the other guy said wrong.

There's a new Nielsen update coming soon isn't there? To try and include internet data??

I don't think there's anything I could give less of a shit about than ratings discussions. I'm a wrestling fan, not an employee of TNA or SpikeTV. I don't give a rats ass if it's a 1.3 or a 3.1. All I care about is what I find entertaining.

According to what, spoilers? If so, I want nothing to do with them!

Haha, no, according to that bit of TNA-programming I saw where he did not only get the pin in the eight-(wo)man tag match, but was the only face who had any mic time. Usual policy would dictate that it be James Storm, no?

Joe could actually be the man to end Magnus' reign (I highly doubt Sting will). That seems to be the direction they're taking. Joe had an interview in which he went on about 2014 being his year. He was the #2 original after Styles and is the only one that hasn't suffered consequences from Carter yet. As far as Storm is concerned, I can't wait until the day he wins that championship.

History has taught us that pro wrestling can throw a curve ball at you. I'd love to see Joe get the strap, esp since I missed out on his first run. But at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if Magnus holds the belt longer than Roode did either.

Are Roode and Angle above the title now?

It's Angle. He'll be in the title hunt again before the year runs out.

And I expect Roode to have at least a few more runs.

Say what you want about ballsy women-assaulting Austin Aries, but he's doing an amazing job with Sabin to make that X-Division title look like a million bucks. Compare it to Zema Ion's run...

But I thought Aries was a great champ and I hope he gets many more opportunities to shine.

As a heel, Sabin has always been able to make things matter. It's as a face he's struggled time and time again.

Yeah I remember his title run. While he's talented, he doesn't really generate much interest. He was a pretty cool face in the Motorcity Machine Guns but after Shelly left, I doubt many were still bothered about him. This heel run though, it's pretty cool. He's like the cocky high school kid where you think, "why hasn't anyone knocked you the fuck out already?" It's also good to see a mid-card feud again.

Agreed. One of my favorites with Storm and Roode.

What the other guy said was TNA is the only company to see a raise in ratings/audience in the past decade, which was incorrect.

WWE Raw's ratings/audience has decreased over time but it has also increased in the past year. What the person said implies that WWE Raw has done nothing but decrease.

From the first day they hit Spike, back when they had a one-hour block. Six-sided ring definitely stood out the most, but for me, it was like a WCW revival. Raven, Sting, Steiner, Jarrett, etc. etc. all in the company. Being a WCW fan growing up, having repeatedly given up on WWE, it was so awesome to see a new wrestling company hit television again that had those familiar faces.

I also caught a few of the PPV broadcasts prior to them getting their Spike deal.

So guys, when did y'all start watching TNA and what is it that stood out to you the most?

I've watched it off and on for maybe 3-4 years. It hasn't been until the last six months where I've at least read about each show on here and tried watching the weekly shows.

I mainly was just trying to re~establish myself with Angle, but TNA as a whole really doesn't hold me too well. I had also heard tons about how good "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels was, but never really have seen that part of him yet.

I find it weird being one of the very few original viewers since the NWA days. My brother would always shout out "I remember that guy from the other company". I was clueless but nevertheless, I remained watching to date. I kind of miss being a mark. Anyways, how come you gave up on the E?

First I heard of TNA was searching youtube for DX theme and the first result was VKM doing a promo.

They were NWA-TNA when I started watching. They didn't become TNA, dropping the NWA name and title, until 2007 I think.

Saw it once long ago when I could maybe be convinced that wrestling is real. Saw the six-sided ring, hated it, switched back to Dexter's Lab.

Then, only in 2011 (I think) Jeff Hardy made his return on that cage thing and that's when I started tuning in. Angle as well, but for a good long while I watched it mainly for Hardy.

First got exposed to it around '07 when I was still in LA. Then my boy let me borrow Lockdown 07 on DVD. But I wasn't able to watch it regularly until I got cable back in 2010. Been faithful ever since.

I mean the point where they originally had a 4-sided ring with the black ropes, and the NWA was more emphasized. Amazing Red was in the first match I can remember with the S.A.T cousins. Anyhow, why did you stop watching the WWE?
