Impact Support Club House

He's mentioned LU explicitly. TNA is an assumption based on the work agreement with AAA and the HoH appearance.

[EDIT]
Oh, he actually said "TNA". Does he know something we don't about their TV deal?

Dave Meltzer just said on todays Wrestling Observer audio cast that TNA will announce either tomorrow or Thursday that they're moving to Destination America in 2015. He said that hes been told by several people in TNA that the deal is done. They're going to spend the next few weeks re-organizing the company, seeing how much of a budget they'll have in 2015, who they want on the roster and how they can cut costs. He said he'll have more to say tomorrow or Thursday because there are a lot of points that need to be made about this deal, one being that while TNA is alive for two more years, this deal is a dramatic step backward.

If they can look like HoH did this weekend, it won't be that bad. I do believe TNA should start uploading Impact to Youtube after it airs. Maybe even add the $0.99 tag they do for PPV's. It would help people who can't access Destination America.

If they have to cut costs, why not give their talent a little more freedom to work other feds? That way, those that want to can tap into that AJ Styles money.

Just listened to the Ross Report podcast with the Hardy's and that's exactly what he suggests, despite not knowing the exact breakdown of the new deal.

Basically, telling guys like the Hardy's, Del Rio, whomever that they want them, and they want them as part of the TNA product, but they won't restrict them from working ROH, ROH television, etc. if they want to supplement their income.

Basically, going back to the way they operated back in like 2005 and 2006, where they had more of a working agreement in place with companies like ROH.

They almost have to at this point. Being in TNA was a big deal because they have a major TV contract. Now they're in 40 million fewer homes, meaning a lot of that clout went away.

If nothing else, with the rumor of ROH pulling guys from indy shows, let their talent do other shows can get TNA back into favor with the IWC.

The question then becomes- Is ROH cool with that??

By all reports(accuracy of which I can't attest too) Matt Hardy wanted to continue working ROH after returning to Impact, and TNA was okay with that arrangement, yet ROH balked.

Luckily for the talent, there are still a lot of other options at their disposal even if ROH isn't interested, like HOH, PWG, CHIKARA, and even possibly places like JAPW, AAW, AIW, 2CW, PWS, etc; plus OMEGA(if Matt decides to run more shows), Wrestle-1(as long as they keep their doors open), AAA(if that relationship remains a thing), and maybe even the various British promotions that regularly book guys like Andrews, Dar, Rampage, Mastiff, etc. who are in the British Bootcamp finals(I know Aries worked RPW recently for example). So there will be plenty of outlets for indy bookings if TNA becomes a TV only company with more limited dates and allows their wrestlers more freedom as a result.

They can work AAA, HoH, Wrestle-1, WWC, WWL and smaller promotions. They've actually got a bit to choose from.

I just hope Supersport will still show it.

But let me back up here... So ADR in TNA is a thing? Why? Who thought this was a good idea?

Apparently he did, cause he went to them to negotiate apparently. AAA is gonna pad the bill. Apparently, apparent.

Officially official.

@TNADixie: Proud to join the @Discovery family! @IMPACTWRESTLING comes to @DestAmerica in January! http://t.co/xmyk00Qcuf #DestinationIMPACT

What is very interesting is that they've well known faces on this promotion pic - some of whom are known to have their contracts expire. Maybe preempting, but along with the ADR rumors, I'm hopeful that the shared vision between TNA & Destination America is ambitious and keeping (and hopefully resigning) established talent is a priority.

Please tell me they'll go the whole 9 yards and make new logos and graphics instead of keeping that shitty "Impact Wrestling" logo.

Hopefully Roode stays champion for a long time and they don't go to a new channel then throw the title on someone else.
