Impact Support Club House

From the main page:

In a somewhat related note, Eric Bischoff recently retweeted the following image posted by business partner Jason Hervey.

It’s speculation at this point, but TNA is rumored to be close to a deal with WGN America, one of the four reported networks looking for a deal with TNA:

Looking like IMPACT on WGN America...

Also more on Matthews:

Former WWE announcer Josh Mathews may begin an on air role with TNA when they begin Impact Wrestling on a new network in 2015.

He could still appear in some backstage segments while TNA is on Spike TV, but it is believed he may take a role as an announcer after the new year.

There was a note about why TNA made all the title changes they have in the coming weeks heading into the new year about it being centered around contracts, and making sure the titles would be on talents who are in fact under contract for the new year, so I wonder if that extends to either of Tenay or Taz as part of the booth?

So I'm watching the show where Roode challenges Lashley for the WHC and I see a poster with a cartooned "Cornette-face", subtitled with "#FTC".

My first thought: "Hahaha, I see what you did there!"
Second thought: "Wow, that's actually pretty disrespectful and stupid and why would you go to a show just to shit on it like that?"
Third thought: "Still pretty funny, though..."
Fourth thought: "I'm hungry."

TNA has announced seven matches for Bound For Glory.

....and it's Us vs. Them, or basically the exact same thing they did at the One Night Only show a few months back.

* TNA X-Division Title Match: Samoa Joe vs. Low Ki vs. Kaz Hayashi
* Great Muta and Tajiri vs. Sanada and James Storm
* Bully Ray and Devon vs. Tommy Dreamer and Abyss
* EC3 vs. Ryota Hama
* MVP vs. Kazma Sakamoto
* Manik vs. Minoru Tanaka
* Havok vs. Velvet Sky

Why not? They've been a tribute company to WWE, WCW and ECW already, so why not a Japanese promotion that has only been around for a year?

It's understandable. The PPV was bound to fill up regardless of build because it was Wrestle-1's job to promote it. PPV's don't do good regardless as far as buys or build go. Unless they did another 10/10/10 type deal. So them just winging it this year isn't so surprising and its probably not gonna matter if they stay afloat in the long run.

It's still fucking infuriating though.

It really shouldn't be a surprise when you think about it. TNA spent half the summer doing shows for the live crowd instead of the masses. That's what they're doing here.

"The best 3 hours you'll ever see"

Couldnt help laughing at that bit. Come on. It won't even be TNAs best 3 hour show and they've only had 3 of those.

This makes that Night of Champions jab all the funnier.

The show could be some good wrestling, but there's no reason to care about most of this stuff. Without that connection, there's almost no reason to watch the show.

BFG has been consistently garbage to me since 2010, so I'm not really surprised. Slammiversary always outshines it earlier in the year.

At least now fans have no reason to care about any of the outcomes and waste the money.

Really? I always felt the '11 and '12 shows were some of the better ones.

Eh, I might need to refresh my memory but BFG was always touted as their biggest show but they were always hell bent on having unnecessary swerves that brought it down massively or the wrestling was just always more solid on Slammiversary.

Not sure this year. I might be doing a visit back home for my boy's wedding. Cash is tight as it is.
