Impact Support Club House

Well let's just hope they sort something (and themselves) out by the time the contract ends.

On a side note, Bobby Roode can not be Lashley's opponent at BFG which some speculate, as he loses to him at No Surrender. It would be a bit weird for their biggest PPV's main event to be a rematch. And KB not everyone reads the spoilers!

Lots of BFG matches tend to be No Surrender reamtches. Plus, there's always KB's favorite. The 3 Way.

Eric Young is no John Cena but it's kinda funny how Lesnar/Cena mirrors EY/Lashley. Expect one was on unadvertised on TV and the other was on the second biggest event of the company.

ODB is one of those TNA-types that actually needs to go every year or two so when she makes her inevitable return, it gets the proper response.

I was a fan of ODB but her stuff with EY was pointless. She could be much more but never was allowed. Instead, they focus on Gail Kim who is good, but is boring as well.

I just want TNA to keep Bully Ray, I was a fan when he changed and everyone hated on him for it. He is awesome and this would truly be a stupid move if TNA does not do anything to rehire him.

I can do the loss of Styles as much as it sucks but losing Ray would be a major loss.

I really hope they won't have to do a huge overhaul with the roster. A new TV deal will hopefully come sooner than later.

I hope so as well. I like there roster as is. I'd really like to see Manik get some more air time. Dude is phenomenal, just needs an attire change.

If a new TV deals does come through, I simply hope they advertise TNA a lot more. Seriously, TNA's marketing is barley there, if it is there at all.

EC3 is straight up must see television. The way he handled his promo this week was amazing, responding to the "You Can't Wrestle" chants, and even the "CM Punk" chant that started up.

I'm starting to think jumping to Velocity would be an investment for the future. TNA needs to secure a deal just so they can put some attention on TV. They have so much potential right now with James Storms stable, the Trio (a stable that doesn't wanna take control! OMG) and of course fucking EC3. That dude has hit overdrive since Dixie went through the table.

Velocity is like a quarter the size of Spike, which is already a limited audience.

From what I've read, a jump to Velocity would mean an even more stripped down product, and would almost assuredly mean the loss of nearly every "big name" in the company right now.

According to numerous sites, small-time network Velocity has shown interest in TNA. Velocity is owned by Discovery Communications. The network is available in 52 million homes and only in HD. The network has a focus on automobiles but has talked about expanding their male demographics.

Rumors state that Velocity offered TNA about a quarter of what they make from Spike. If TNA were to accept the offer, it would be seen as worst case scenario as TNA would have to cut back so much that the current product would be unrecognizable.

Not to make matters worse but Meltzer had this little note in the Observer yesterday.

United Talent Agency, who are handling the TV rights negotiations for TNA with both Spike TV and potential new vendors once Spike decides to officially pull the plug are said to have contacted representatives from all networks who would realistically want wrestling on their station. The response hasn't been good, but there is interest from one or two stations, sadly none would be in a financially viable situation to back TNA like Spike does, which would result in large cutbacks in the company in almost every department.

Not knowing the salary structure of the company too well, I'd imagine right off the bat, it means no more Mr. Anderson, Jeff Hardy, MVP, Kurt Angle (who is leaving anyway), etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if Anderson stayed on. Where else is he going to go? WWE sure as hell won't take him back, he's not got that appeal to be as big on the indies like AJ, Daniels and Kazarian does, he'll never get a shot in ROH (he's friends with Ace Steel so he may pull some strings, doubt it though) and I really can't see him doing well in Japan. TNA even for less money would be his most solid option.

Samoa Joe and Bobby Roode would be the ones I'd have most interest in. Over time they've both surely accumulated good salaries.

It's not a matter of where else the wrestlers are going to go. It's a matter of whether or not TNA, or the new TNA, can afford to carry them. I'd imagine a lot of the ex-WWE talent are making substantially more than the rest of the roster, which would put them at the highest risk level to be dropped, regardless of whatever perceived value they have.
