Cage is great and this is a good move for him, especially if he can keep working AAA. He would never make it in WWE again because his piss would melt the cup it would be so hot. Hopefully though they don't make him feud with Adonis. Adonis, by all accounts, is a good guy in real life but a more boring wrestler you would be hard pressed to find.

At tonight's #ImpactWrestling tapings, former world champion #EddieEdwards suffered a serious injury in a post-match beat down from #SamiCallihan.

Callihan reportedly wrapped a chair around Edwards' head then struck him with a bat, causing a massive amount of blood loss. Edwards was taken to the hospital following the incident.

From what I read, he was aiming to hit the chair with the bat, but it ricocheted off and cracked Eddie in the skull. A damn stupid spot indeed.

Same here. He really turned a lot of heads, including Angle's. If you recall, it was Kurt who told Impact officials not to wait any longer on getting the title on him. What a right call. Honestly, I wish him nothing but the best in NXT or wherever he lands. I think he'd be a solid WWE add.

I hope they can at least keep Edward's as he is not great, but can be great. A match between him and Aries would be fun to see.
