Impact Support Club House

Jade is alright and can help a divison in need. They need more women. I would like to see Tara return for one more run.

The X Division will never be the forefront of TNA again. That division needs help badly. One thing I thought Bischoff would have done was make the X Division shine. Nope. Been a dead fish out of water ever since then. Tigre Uno is a good hand but we need more focus on it. This is where TNA could capitalize on being different again to hopefully draw more viewers into the diminished product viewer wise. Which is sad because the quality on POP has damn near been top notch for a good change.

Austin Aries basically carried it single handedly for a year. Then they kept throwing him back there to give it a jolt every few months. I don't know why they didn't utilise Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin etc more when they were there. The X-Division wouldn't be great but it would be less shit than it is now

In an interview with SI.com Davey Richards spoke on a number of topics including perhaps most notably the reported 6-9 month timetable that has been estimated for his return from recent knee reconstructive surgery. Richards predicted a return during the Summer and had this to say on the issue:

Davey Richards said:
“They’re ignorant to it, but it’s understandable because that has typically been the time that people are out, 6-9 months. I’m changing all of that; I’m not everyone else. The day before I had surgery, I was able to do 500 squats, and [now I am] three weeks post-op and I worked out twice today. I can walk, I can go up and down the stairs. Massive, massive acceleration rate. It all just comes down to science, and that is one thing in wrestling that I’d like to focus on more going forward. There is a side of wrestling where I’d really like to train people because I can kinda fuse my love for wrestling with science to basically just build better athletes.”

The entire interview is actually a very nice read, and Richards furthers addresses some very interesting views regarding the science and bio-mechanics of pro wrestling and training and how injuries occur.

Andersons bug push was going to be him getting a talk show segment called "huh" lol. Some push.

Pres are you going to change your Sig since the Angle has left TNA? If you do, can you possibly change it to Bram? Bram is the damn man.

Bram is awesome. As a fellow (kinda) Brit he needs to kick more ass than he is. Make him KOTM champ

Totally agree Alex. But they KOTM Title is just awful. Make it the TV Title and give the matches a 15 mintue time limit. Sound fimiliar?

TV Title alone has namr value. KOTM is a mouthful to say.

I suppose I need to, huh? :(

No more changing the name. KOTM title is actually an OK name. It's just the match that's stupid. If it were me, I'd just try to tweak it slightly by removing one of the stipulations, at least. Likely the penalty box thing. Though I'd also want to remove having to hang the title.

Hang the title like a ladder match. Contestants cannot take it down without scoring a pinfall or a submission. No more rules needed. You must score a pinfall or submission, then you can climb the ladder and get the title.

That would be too easy lol I can live with the name since another name change would be ridiculous. So you have a very solid point IDR.

Yes, sadly a new sig might be needed. Kurt Angle is and will always be my favorite wrestler. The dude is a cyborg for sure. Thank you Taz for describing Kurt Angle in one word: "Cyborg."

I actually think King Of The Mountain is a cool name. Better than calling it the Global title haha.

As IDR said the actual match is stupid. Ironically I still like it because it's stupid. But realistically the going into the box because you got pinned is an unnecessary middleman type thing you might as well cut it out and then you've got IDR's suggestion which is more than adequate.

According to PWInsider.com, former WWE NXT Stars Sylvester LeFort and Marquis Louis are backstage at today’s TNA Impact Wrestling taping in Orlando Florida.

It is unknown at this time whether or not TNA has plans to use them at the tapings, or if they are just there visiting friends. LeFort and Louis were released from WWE last month.

...any good?

Louis was generic until he lost his hair and turned into a good psychotic. Not worth hiring.

LeFort is an awesome manager with a better physique than half the roster. I'd hire him as an annoying talker but not much more. He can wrestle as well.

TNA needs tag teams, though. I'm assuming these guys are/were one? They need all the warm bodies they can get right now. It's basically Beer Money and The Decay at the moment, unless you count EY and Bram and Eli Drake and Godderz, I suppose, even though Drake has mostly been used in a singles capacity. As has EY.

TNA can reunite the BroMans considering that both aren't doing much as singles competitors.

Well, fuck... Sting is forced into retirement.

I've gone on record numerous times saying I'd rather watch Sting and Ric Flair at the combined age of 512 wrestle a ladder match while both are resigned to wheelchairs than watch anything WWE has to offer. That statement is still true today.

As is this one: GOAT.

I really, really enjoyed his match with Flair in TNA. His run as GM is one of my favourite authority figure runs ever.

Stinger? Yeah, and his match against Hogan at BFG 2011 was shockingly great. It had no business being that good considering their combined age, and the fact that Hogan basically punched his last bump off his bump card years before he laced 'em up to wrestle Sting that year. If my memory serves, you could still see the scars from his latest back surgery, and they turned it into a historical company highlight. Just nuts.

Not to go too far off topic here, because it's for Sting, but Flair was also criminally underrated in TNA. For my money, he was always entertaining, even if a few of the things he was involved with (AJ Flair, for example) didn't end up being as good as they probably sounded in the creative meetings.

I'll never, never not laugh at the Woo-Off between Flair and Lethal. Never. Just thinking about it has me chuckling near out loud laughter. That's my line!

Sting/Angle at BFG 2007, his "Network" return and WHC win against Hardy after his WWE teasing sabbatical, Samoa Joe at BFG 2008, the whole Joker gimmick that he really made work, and, of course, forming the original Main Event Mafia. Yeah, it was a Millionaire's Club v. New Blood rehash, but it was fucking amazing.

Can you hear the theme music rolling in your head as loud as I can?
