I'm glad Scott Hall is back.

Mr_Wrestling_Number_7

Occasional Pre-Show
I hope he stays motivated to have a serious run back in TNA because HE HAD ME ROLLING LAST NIGHT. When he first appeared on TNA I felt sorry for him. But I have to admit, he still has tremendous mic skills. And his quibs with Easy E (the deal-do comment) and telling Nash that he'll be the one that looks like Elvis at Destination-X, I don't know how Nash stayed in character. This guy, if he realizes what is good for him, needs to get ring ready fast. He still has some mileage left if he'd only realize it. I have a feeling Eric Young is going to get buried in all of this though.

I am glad he's there and if he can say clean and get back into ring shape then I am very glad he's around. He did have me laughing last night. The "I'll be the one that looks life Elvis" line was classic and had my fiance and I rolling. He seems to be in better shape than in the past and if he stays clean he will be a valuable asset (maybe in ring but no doubt behind the scenes) to TNA. Just get away from Waltman and he'll be golden.

To Hall's credit, he actually looked better last night than he has in the past couple weeks. He looked more mobile and looked like he lost a couple pounds. And it's sad that I have to say something like that, but at the same time it should be considered a compliment because at least he is trying to get in shape and make the effort.

Hall actually looked to be in tremendously better shape last night than he was when he first came back back in December/January. He was reportedly very upset with how poor he looked in tights heading into the Genesis PPV, which is why he didn't wrestle in the match that night, instead allowing Waltman to fill in for him rather unceremoniously after "losing" a game of 'Rock, Paper, Scissor' to him back stage earlier in the night.

From what I can tell, he looks as though he's been getting himself back into ring-shape the last two months while still wearing baggy clothing (likely to fool the fans into thinking he's still a washed up has-been), which should make for a fantastic return match at the upcoming Destination X PPV which will be the sixth straight TNA PPV I'll have bought in a row now.

I've always been a Hall mark, so it's so difficult for me to say no when the opportunity to see "The Bad Guy" is on the table. One way or another, if you're not down with Hall at Destination X, I've got two words for ya: Hey, yo!

I'm with you guys on this one. Hall gets so much scrutiny from the smarks. Granted, he's had his share of problems, but he should be given another chance, even if it's his 70th second chance. On Impact, he seemed to be sober and in better shape than previously.
Plus, he proved again that he is gold on the mic. Definitely 100x more entertaining than anything Kazarian, Daniels or Doug Williams had to say last night. What a snoozefest that was.

It was a bit doll but it got the point across of the X Division becoming more of a focus in TNA which is always a bonus.

Maybe Hall can work with some of those guys ont he mic and on psychology to help them. Scott no doubt has a great mind for the buisness and would be very helpful in trying to get the charisma out of the guys.

Hey Yo! I love it! I, too, am a Hall mark for sure. I'm so stoked to see him back in the ring and to see that he has obviously been putting the work in to get in shape because he looked a thousand times better than he did when he returned a couple months ago. If he stays clean and continues to put the work in then he can be a valuable asset to TNA. Regardless of what anyone says, Hall was one of the most underrated guys in the business and could've been a great world champion, had he not succumb to the sauce. Physical shape aside, he still has great mic skills and great comedic timing and one liners, as far as wrestling goes. All in all I'm stoked for him to be back and I hope Waltman and him win that match and get the "big money contracts"...Waltman on the other hand I could deal without. For the sake of the "The Band" though, Waltman should stick around I guess. "Survey says...one more for the good guys!"

I actually thought Waltman looked good too last night. He seems to be in decent shape, and I was surprised to see how well he sold and delivered his moves. I don't know how I feel yet about the entire angle, but seeing that Waltman can still go is definitely a good thing.

I am also glad to see Hall again. He looked good last night, and in a better shape. Hopefully Hall stay's clean for a long time. I'm sorry but I really want hall and Pac win this match in Destanition-X. I really want Hall to stay in TNA, Because he cut's really good promos and he could help some of the young guys with there promo skills. Also yeah he is old but i think he still could get down in the ring.

Hall is definitely awesome on the mic and a natural smart ass. It's a breath of fresh air from the generic guys trying to act like smart asses who clearly aren't.

Personally I find Hall to be really awkward. I'm watching a semi-serious promo, and Hall says something like "I'll be the one that looks like Elvis." Now, it's not that big of a deal, and I now a lot of people like him and thought that was really funny, but his delivery comes off really awkward sometimes.

I honestly don't know if I want him to stay or go. I was a Hall fan back in the day, but I don't know if he'll have much to contribute to the brand if he does get a contract. So far he's been working with Nash and annoying the hell out of Bishoff, and it's been alright I guess, but it's one of my least favorite things going on in TNA (but still better than a lot of stuff going on in WWE for the most part).

I don't think I'll be upset either way. If he stays I think he'll probably get lost in the jumble of guys on the roster. With people like RVD, Hardy, and Sting getting back in the business this week, I don't feel like Hall is that big of a deal. He's just not who I tune in to see every week. But that doesn't necessarily mean I want him gone. I'm just kinda apathetic about him.

I want Scott Hall to stay for his entertainment value. Now that he isn't so buzzed up he is actually quite funny to watch.
The thing with WCW being bought was so many talents were out of work and unable to be seen again on the big stage due to the WWE monopoly.

I hope they win at the PPV because the whole sneaking in thing is getting kinda boring.

Hall hopefully can still go well, as we can see Pac can. Should be a good match.

You know what, I'm not sorry, I'm glad Hall is back.

People constantly bitch and moan about his drinking problems as if it had somehow caused them to grow up with a god damn cocaine addiction. You know, if you have any observational skills at all, he is trying to lose weight and is obviously off the booze, well, for now at least. Has he fucked up in TNA yet, no, so how about we reserve the next wave of bitching for when he does?

And no, him thinking he looks fat isnt fucking up, he didnt want to go out there in the shape he was and needed to train. Nothings wrong with wanting to do your best in a new company with the ravenous IWC breathing down your neck waiting for your next mistake right?

I believe he has "fucked up" in TNA a few times including no showing. Its hard to buy his "food poisoning" bit when he has called Wolf so many times. And you don't take a job if you aren't prepared for it. Its liek football players. Show up to preseason in shape. Its your job. They don't pay players to get in shape the first 6 weeks of the season. They pay them to show up in shape. If he wanted to do his best he would have got in shape first. Instead he took the money quick then moaned he was a chubby tunker of a teletubby.

The guy has talent. Sadly it will end like every other stint he has had in the past 8 years. If there were Vegas odds on this it wouldn't even be worth putting money down.

I gotta agree, I am also glad to see Hall back because when he is sober he can work great and is really on fire. Btw im Brian and im new to the forums I look foward to posting more here and having fun.

Now that Hall is past performing at his best, maybe he can help mold some of the wrestlers into better talkers into the mic. Because lets face it... TNA is lacking in the promo department. Aside from most of the Main Eventers, the wrestlers can't get over unless they're extremely gifted in the ring.

Hall can serve a great purpose in TNA if given the time to do it. And it's good to see him in good shape and not slurring speech or wanting to make someone job to him. Or worse yet, no-show.

i think hall could be an asset to the company. he could lead a stable, even. let's put in RVD, Matt Hardy, Xpac, and anyone with a known substance abuse problem. They could call themselves "Wild, Wasted and Famous", or WWF.

but seriously, all i need is Scott telling Kevin that "I know your weakness" to assure me i know how this will go down. i see a "finger poke of doom" on the way. i so hope not.

UNLESS:

it is followed by an immediate celebration by all four men, hall hugs young, nash hugs waltman, nash hugs hall, then while waltman and young are hugging....nash and hall proceed to stomp a mudhole on young and waltman.

because waltman and young would make a good tag team. i could see a lot of good things happening for that pair after they've finally disposed of the geritol outsiders.

don't get me wrong i love hall and nash, but if i see them trying to recapture the glory days like flair and hogan did the other night, i may puke.

the only way nash and hall can get back together as a tag team w/out hurting their legacy and spoiling some great memories is to put over a younger team. young and waltman could be that team.

so speaketh the prophet!

I love Hall, i always have and will. I hate seeing him get bashed nowadays. Im always reading something about how he needs to go and crap and it pisses me off. From his first appearance on Jan 4th to now, you can see hes lost weight, a lot of it. Hes looking good and his "Aye yo" never gets old to me. He can cut one of the best promos in all of wrestling still today. Hes trying so is Syxx, i wish people would give them a chance rather than push them away because their old and Hogan's friends.

Scott Hall was always golden on the mic. I am a HUGE Hall mark, always have been. He has always been as entertaining on the stick as anyone in the business, so I am glad to see him talking again. But do I think he will make a full time return to the ring?

No. He will not. Scott Hall is 51 years old. I don't think he would even want to wrestle again, not even part time. What he is doing right now is PERFECT for him, at this stage in his life. The main reason I don't want to see him wrestle again, on a full or even part time basis, is due to the fact that I like to remember Hall for what he WAS in the ring.

He used to be great in the ring. You would forget he was a big man, because he could keep up with smaller guys. But he was always big enough to brawl it out with just about anyone. This guy had real talent, and it is a shame he was never WWE/F or WCW champion. But that time has passed.

Even if he were to get into good physical condition, he is 51 years old. That time has passed. He is perfect for what he is doing. A match here and there will be ok, especially a street fight kind of deal. But a full, or even part time, return to the ring? No thanks. I will watch old videos of him instead.

I used to be a big hall fan, and he still is good on the mic. But the guy is way past his prime, and unless he cleaned himself up, one can't forget that he no showed the main event of turning point. I remember ordering it to see the outsiders wrestle again and while Eric young was good in the match, it still wasn't right of Hall to do.

Plus TNA has alot of wrestlers now and not that much airtime atm. I think if drops start happening, Hall and Xpac should be two of the first to go.

I'm a Hall mark, and I'm really glad he's back. Not only is he back, but he seems to be sober and trying to get his weight down. He still has great promo skills when he isn't drunk or high or whatever. If he loses enough weight, hopefully he can still go in the ring. As long as he doesn't win a title or beat someone like the Pope of AJ (which I would bet my life on not happening), then I'm happy with him being there.

I didnt find Hall to be all that great last night. Im a fan of nwo and i think with a new name hopefully the band can be an asset, but honestly im more impressed with pac.

I seem to be the only one that feels this way, but i thought the match with EY and Pac was pretty good. maybe I just like a street fight type atmousphere

Theres some mixed reactions here, but it seems every one wants Hall to mentor new guys, do you think they should get some new "band members"?

i think x pac and razor ramon can offer alot to tna like new fans !!!!
i am a wwf fan for 18 years but since the bad guy and 123 kid have been reintroduced i have been hooked to tna and have enjoyed the comeback................. the kid looks really good and am so impressed with the street fight .... lets remember the kid tried killing himself twice and failed now he is back in the bigtime........... hall on the other hand was in bad shAPE in Janruary but he really has lost weight since............ common guys just look how many of us are talking tna since pac and hogan and brian knobbs hAVe returned ............ we love legends and comebacks and tna are going to satisfy us until hogan has finished ........... ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, sid eudy is returning . kuurgan is in talks .tugboat too .......... randy savage may make a return and marty jannety and irs in talks too this could make tna big !!!!
with young and exciting matches too this could end WWE'S pg era which we all would love ...................... i just hope JIM HELLWIG listens to hogan ANd returns to make WRESTLEMania 6 Happen all over again !!!!!!!!!!!
tna now 4 LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Scott was one of my favourtite wrestlers back in the day, and i think he still is, hes starting to look more better and better every time i see him in the ring recently, his mic skills are absolute dyamite! i just hope he wins at destination X, as for waltman im a fan of his as well, its always good to see him wrestle again.
