If You're Pissed About Taker Vs. Lesnar Come Scream Out A Lung

Weak match. Unfortunate result. I assume the Undertaker is retired, but who knows.

The only thing going for it is that Lesnar will have MEGA heat in his next match, and they may be able to use that productively.

When Lesnar takes the belt off Bryan it'll be epic. Honestly, Lesnar only wins if he's hand picked by Taker to win, that's the reality we all have to realize.

Has to be the biggest botch in history, no doubt.

If Lesnar knew before he was going to win he wouldn't have put in such a shitty, unmotivated caricature of effort. Lesnar gains nothing from it, too. He's the most dominant monster anyway, it doesn't give his character more depth, he's pretty old and a part-timer on top of it.

Also, they wouldn't go on with Wrestlemania like this if it was planned. That would be too stupid. It totally overshadows Bryan's moment. Well, maybe Batista wins anyway, LOL.

Saddest thing since Owen for me.

This is utter idiocy.

In a match like this, EVERYONE knows the finish. Taker knew, Brock knew, the referee knew. Everyone knew. There was absolutely no way anyone would have allowed that match to end other than the way it was supposed to end. The ref would have stopped counting. Lesnar would have pulled him up.

They're all professionals who know what the deal is. They would never, ever, ever allow a match like this to end other than the way it was planned to end.

I don't understand Lesnar being the one to end the streak, but thank God the streak is over. And if Undertaker is/was going to continue putting on terrible performances like that, then I'm completely okay with him retiring. The one match a year schtick is old and Undertaker just doesn't seem to have it anymore.

:disappointed:

That match was beyond disappointing. I'm surprisingly okay with Taker losing (even if it is to Brock), but that match was so mediocre. Neither guy seemed to be fully ''there,'' I guess.

It's a shame my gym's not 24 hours. Otherwise I'd take some of this anger out on a punching bag. Guess I'll have to settle for some yoga or something.

I'm not shocked really about the streak ending.

Damnit it hurt to watch though. When the ref counted to 3 my heart sank.

Sure, it's HIGHLY unlikely, but I only see drawbacks. Who would let the Streak end in a shitty midcard match to a guy that gains little from it compared to the alternatives? And when it overshadows a supposed historic moment for Bryan?

Both scenarios seem highly unlikely, but an unlikely accident seems more probable than the abyss of stupidity on the other side for me.

From a personal standpoint I disagree mostly because I always look forward to Taker's Wrestlemania appearance and hype, but from a logical standpoint I definitely agree that the streak had to end very soon, for Taker's health was suffering as a result and so was the match quality. I reckon Taker could have beaten Lesnar and lost to say Reigns at next years event.

Exactly how I felt. I don't think it had to go some young guy, Cena, Orton, Punk, any established full time guy or even semi-full time guy would have been fine. Just seems weird to give it to a guy who works like 3 matches a year.

Don't care otherwise, though.

You're telling me nobody would've given off that reaction had it been anyone else? The crowd went from shock, which didn't last long, to pouring nothing but pure respect for Undertaker. If that was the end, it was a damn good one in my eyes.

I agree here. I just don't see why not Cena all things considered. Wyatt/Cena could have happened whenever. Why not do the dream match?

For a long time I thought Cena should have been the one to end the streak, but the last couple of years (especially after the matches with Rock), I think the moment had passed. John Cena is bigger than breaking the streak at this point.

Right now I am not a fan of this result. BUT... That will change if the Undertaker faces Sting at 31.

Think of it this way: Undertaker vs. Sting WITH THE STREAK ON THE LINE is too much pressure for Sting in what would probably be his only WWE match. If he lost, then he would only be known in that company as #23.

I'm sure Taker was given the choice whether or not he wanted the streak to end and I'm also sure he got to choose who he wanted to end it. I'm surprised it was Lesnar because he is just a part time guy but at the same time Lesnar may be the most believable person to end it. Streaks are meant to broken.

Would have been great if Bad News Barrett came out to announce Brock the winner instead of Roberts. Gah so many missed opportunities for Barrett.

WWE is really looking to build the Lesnar brand. The Summerslam main event of Lesnar vs Bryan is going to be amazing.
