OK ‘ya smarks, there were about a gazillion words typed on this forum predicting the outcome of many storylines and matches at BFG, If you were right about “They”, “Deception”, the outcome of the Main event or other matches, or any of the other revelations at BFG, quote your post and tell us how you came to your conclusion.

If you were wrong about something you predicted for BFG, quote your post and tell us what threw you off.

Did your prediction change as it got closer to BFG and more hints were reveled?

Did your prediction change during BFG as the ppv progressed?

As far as JJ I def had a feeling he would turn and all that took for me was knowing his wrestling history, first time I even considered Jeff (Hardy) turning was at the beginning of the match and I pretty much dismissed it, I don't LIKE it, but I was wrong and therefore it was a surprise, which I did like.... nothing else at the PPV really surprised me, it was a GREAT PPV, but Hardy turning was the only real shock of the night to me... and that not even one new face came in, thas the only thing that never even crossed my mind, that NO ONE would come in

I got it wrong. I thought THEY were Dixie's parents. Here's why. Abyss named his club Janice..and later had a branding iron called BOB. I do believe those are the names of Dixie's mom and dad. They run Panda Energy, which as we all know, owns TNA. I thought mom and dad were going to come in and "Take" TNA from Dixie. Would have been less of a Yawn the Hogan and Bischoff...zzzzzzzzzz

JJ showed hints of turning in a match where he teamed with Joe and used Sting's bat against him while Joe wasn't looking.

Other than that, I was totally wrong. I thought They were going to be the return of James Mitchell and company of the like. Also, when I read something about how they were going to be "some combination of Jarret, Bischoff, and Hogan," I figured Hogan wouldn't be a part of Them because he was the one that "brought" RVD to the company to help bring it to the top or something like that.

Regardless, TNA got some damage control to do, because there are little details such as RVD being the one that Hogan used to help the company that should (or should not?) be explained.

OK, the ending of TNA was quite predictable. Except for some things. I knew Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff would come down. It was a given. Eric wasn't shown anywhere before the match, and same goes for Hogan. Abyss' they angle did not happen yet, though he vowed it was to happen somewhere in the main event. Jeff Hardy turning heel was surprising. I didn't see that coming. I didn't like the idea. Mr. Anderson would have been better. Jeff Hardy isn't my type of HEEL. Jeff Jarrett was sort of predictable. "They" would be a heel group, so why not add another newly turned heel. But honeslty, I don't like this whole angle. It seemed like a rip-off of NWO. Not the Nexus rip-off (Nexus wasn`t a rip-off, the storyline is much different than NWO). Throwing trash into the ring, Hogan coming out pretending to be a Face character and then quickly changing into heel. It was very boring and predictable.

*FREEZE coming out to HOLLYWOOD HOGANS music*

WELL I CALLED IT! I told U guys that I saw a lot of U being DISAPPOINTED! I TOLD U THERE WAS NO WHERE 4 THIS ANGLE 2 GO & GUESS WHAT? THERE WASN'T!!!! LMAO!

For 8 months we have lead to a story angle that I said could only disappoint! I even said that it would have made since to have just let "THEY" be Eric and Hogan from the beginning! When they first got there! That would have been a SHOCKER...NOT 8 MONTHS LATER! LOL LMAO LMMFAO!!! Oh and as for a "HEEL" HARDY!... SO! Just think of this.... THEY IS CONSISTING OF ONE NEW MEMBER!!!! ONE PEOPLE! ONE! Abyss, Hogan and Eric were already together... U can say what U want but this is an OBVIOUS LET DOWN... Let's see where it goes from here...

LOL LMAO LMMFAO!!!

I TOLD YOU!!!

Yo U can check my posts for a while. I have been saying this angle was going no where because it couldn't... In the end people THEY was just Jeff Hardy... Okay U might throw in Double J but in the end THEY WAS JEFF HARDY!!! This is the news that is gonna "CHANGE WRESTLING AS WE KNOW IT FOREVER" ..

LOL LMAO LMMFAO!!!

U CAN SAY WHAT U WANT BUT I CALLED IT!!!

Pretty darn awesome PPV only thing I didn't like was EV2.0 beating Fortune... I was hoping for a super-heel faction involving They and the newest recruits being Fortune... =].

I kinda realised They had Jarret in it when he left Joe but Hardy was kinda surprising... but it seems its the end of Fortune, TNA really can't have a two pretty good heel factions in TNA one in management *basically* and one that wrestles *even though the "management" one has wrestlers*. Sad... Fortune were awesome... =O I got an idea have Fortune turn to faces with AJ Styles fueding with Hardy for the WHC!!! Then you don't need the annoying EV2.0 and Fortune can showcase their talent with ease. When I mean Fortune turn face, I mean they kick out Flair, he goes to join "They" then TNA add a few more people in "They" to even out Fortune's fire power as it were.

'They' may be a heel group of Hogan, bischoff, jarret, joe, abyss and maybe james mitchell. I believe that Hardy or Anderson or Angle will turn heel (the world title winner will turn heel) . RVD won't turn heel bcoz he is feuding with abyss and rvd turning will suck too.
Brutus Beefcake is joining TNA and says TNA will go NWO-style, maybe he will join they too.. WTF
10-10-10 will be a night of heels.

World Title winner will turn heel and join They
Abyss will beat RVD with help from They
hogan, jarret and joe beat sting, nash and pope
++ turning point poster with Hardy makes Hardy look like Heel haha
An ugly monster looking guy zorro from AWA is coming to TNA so he also may join abyss and They
Hey mickie james is also coming to TNA, maybe abyss is talking about her assets and calling her they!!
maybe abyss was not saying THEY but GAY for months and he would mean Orlando Jordan. TNA TNA TNA

My predictions in BOLD were right

There was no other way then to turn Hogan and Bischoff, Bringing guys like JBL and Abraham Washington would've destroyed the PPV.. Well turning Jeff Hardy was a great move

However, in regards to "THEY", I think that will be revealed sometime during the title match, not during Abyss/RVD.

"THEY" was the biggest angle going into the PPV, but it couldn't overshadow the world title match. That's why I thought the revealing would coincide with Hardy/Angle/Anderson. It just made sense.

Remember, the role of Abyss with THEY has been two-fold... a messenger ("THEY are coming") and someone to do the dirty work ("THEY told me to...") Just because Abyss is having a match with RVD, doesn't mean the reveal of THEY has to happen then and there. By this line of logic, Abyss himself doesn't have the power to reveal THEY to the world. THEY are the ones with the power

Although I didn't want them to be, I was fairly sure at the time that the "ones with the power" were Hogan and Bischoff. Last night pretty much confirmed how I guessed Abyss would play a role within "THEY"... he's hired muscle, someone to do the work of the guys in power. He's not one of the guys in power.

We also know that THEY will have to make a pretty huge impact (no pun intended) for them to be taken seriously and for the payoff to be "worth it." With that in mind I ask, what better way could THEY make a statement if not by costing Kurt Angle his career upon their arrival?

We were reminded time and again during the PPV that if Angle didn't win the TNA World Title, he'd be forced to retire. Now whether that is further revised by Dixie Carter, given the extenuating circumstances, since Angle didn't technically lose remains to be seen. I'm sure he's not done with the company, but I fully expect the "we retired Angle" theme to be prevalent by Hardy, Hogan, and Bischoff on iMPACT Thursday.

Speaking of Hardy, his heel turn was the real shocker for me but in hindsight makes sense. He was effectively the odd-man-out in this match, as the real story was between Angle and Anderson. Though I didn't express it in the post, I was fairly confident that one of the three participants in the main event would align with THEY, either directly or there would be an implied allegiance. If an implied allegiance, I thought that person would be Mr. Anderson, given how they've handled his character recently. If a direct allegiance, I was picking Angle with a whole "protecting my spot" explanation.

i'm not too proud to admit when i'm wrong... or right.

i was wrong about the 6-man tag. i thought for sure that Hogan or somebody would show up to help out Joe and Jarrett. or at least come down with that implication and then turn on Joe and Jarrett to help with the whole "deception" angle. so that match surprised me.

Lethal Lockdown did not surprise me. it was crazy and pretty fun to watch. the faces won, which is a bit of a surprise, but not so much so. the heels have been winning all the matches leading up to this and on previous pay per views, so it may have just been time for the faces to win. lots of blading, i mean bleeding, and that was expected too.

Abyss and RVD actually did surprise me. i thought for sure that Abyss would win the match, or that if he lost, THEY would come out and help with a beatdown on RVD. so i was wrong here.

i predicted that MCMG and Lethal would retain. no real reason. just not a lot of build up for the X-Division Title match so i didn't expect a change there and not a whole lot of credibility on Gen Me yet. but it's getting there. good matches on both sides.

i actually did predict Hardy winning the title by pinning Anderson. i just thought that it was the only way to actually swerve anybody. and both TNA and WWE have had that kind of feel to it lately... making decisions not based on quality or reason, but rather on what will fool the IWC more. so i just guessed Hardy. turning heel surprised me, but winning the belt did not. however, in hindsight, it does kind of make sense. this way, Angle can avoid retirement because he wasn't pinned and Hardy "cheated" to win, so Angle can revise his contract that way. or Dixie could explain that way. whichever.

all in all, i was right on a few matches, guessed right in one result, and was wrong about the major angles of Deception, They and Hardy turning heel.

ok so wait, im confused. are these the same 'They' that kidnapped Samoa Joe a few months back?

No that story never had an ending. But yeah They could have very easily have kidnapped Samoa Joe and put him in 'They' as that would have made a lot more sense then just leaving it blank.

But to answer the thread most of my predictions where quite wrong actually my only two perditions I got right was that Jay Lethal would win over Douglas Williams and the MCMG's would beat Generation me in the tag titles match.

i was the first guy to call jeff hardy's heel turn.at that time people were saying there was no chance in hell hardy would win the title.dont believe me??? yeah well here is the proof

here's the post

"interesting theory and probably correct too because i dont believe the names could be a coincidence.however i think the "they" angle is somehow tied to the main event of bfg.three babyfaces in the ME.one of them is turning heel for sure.lets look at em

Kurt Angle-i dont think so.the story is kinda there with him not being able to put hardy away twice.but i dont think he'll turn coz he is what has got tna soe mainstream attention.and he is a legend now.he will find it difficult getting booed

Mr Anderson-the most obvious choice to most people.a self acclaimed asshole.but if you know vince russo he isnt known to do it the easy way.which brings us to.....

Jeff Hardy-improbable on the face of it but this is what russo likes.hardy has never been heel and some including me would say he doesnt have the skills to be one.but i believe he is what tna have in mind.plus he has been lying a bit low the focus i believe is a bit on angle and anderson more than hardy.plus if you get him in a stable consisting of guys like hogan(who i believe will turn) he could possibly mke a heel.

so how bout this for a stable

hogan, bischoff, hardy, joe with backing from janice and bob carter.

plus it will make me feel like a genius if this comes out to be true"

yeah now i think i deserve some green rep guys.but i probably wont get it coz i am a newb or something:disappointed:

its been extremely frustrating for me as i havent been able to log into the website for a week or so and so i didnt get a chance to gloat over my victory:lmao:

my thought process was based on the simple fact that jeff hadnt been turned heel ever and that it would take vince russo to take a risk like that.three babyfaces in the ME.all of them were never gonna leave as babyfaces.anderson just turned recently and we had seen angle as heel many times.so it would not make much of an impact.hence the simple answer was hardy
