Cody Rhodes is an excellant
If you could create your own promotion and could sign who ever you wanted who would you sign. But before you start there are a few rules, You can only sign 10 superstars from WWE, and 5 from TNA, then you get 5 that you can sign from anywhere, you also have to put together a 3 man creative team, and a commentery team (color commentary optional), with that being said who would you go out a get

Here is mine:

Alright for the sake of makeing the mods happy, sop they don't lock down my thread I'll quickly explain my list of guys

for my creative team I pick Heyman and Raven because they are two of the most creative and innovative minds in the buisness, as for why I picked Konnan I really don't know, just seemed like a good idea at the time

for my commentary team I picked Joey Styles because I think he's the best play by play guys in the industry, and Tommy Dreamer because from what I've heard from DVD commentary and a couple of other ocxcasions when he has worked with Styles he sounds like what I am looking for in a color commentary guy(he sounds like a educated fan)

for my WWE guys I took HBK, Taker, and Benoit to help build and mold the next generation, Carlito, Punk, Helms and Kennedy are in there because in my eyes, they are the future of the business, and are at the top of the mid card, onm the verge of main event status, RVD, Sabu, and Mysterio are all capable of great matches especially with Heyman as the head of my creative team

On to Tna, I picked all five of these guys for pretty much the same reason, they are all exciteing to watch and are the next generation of great wrestlers in this buisness

as for my free agents, I haven't seen a whiole lot of matches with these guys but I have seen a few( at least one for each of them, except Teddy Hart), but I have seen highlights packages on all of them and I basically went off of that, I chose the ones the blew me away the most, and the ones that had the most to offer as far as exciteing matches goes

there you go, now I think I should explain why I chose 10 WWE, 5 TNA, and 5 Free Agents, I decided on 10 WWE guys because they have so much of the talent with 5 hours worth of programming and I figured 10 guys would be enough, I went with 5 TNA guys because I figured that would be more than enough(I should went with a higher number, it was extremly hard to limit it down to just five for me), and 5 freeagents because I didn't think I could come up with more than five, this was another number I should have had higher.

I appreciate the fact you've gone back and added reason's for you're selection's. But even after I made the post about people adding more it appeared nobody is listening. Just listing is spam.

Alright new rule you must explian why you would sign the people you pick, you can't just list, I DON'T WANT THIS THREAD LOCKED, SO JUST GIVE A QUICK REASON FOR WHY YOU PICKED WHO YOU PICKED

Ok, ok.... I guess it wouldn't be enough to just say that I picked these people because they are tremendous, huh?
Commentary: I choose Styles and Lawler because Joey is the beset play by play man ever in the business. He really doesn't need a color man but I think Lawler is good for a few laughs and he would work well with Styles.
Creative Team: Paul Heyman is so great he will be seated next to God when he dies- enough said. Raven had a hand in many of the storylines and characters in ECW, so he would be necessary on any creative team. Finally, Ric Flair has been around the business so long and he has experience with front office work.
Wrestlers: I am going to give a mass explanation as to why I chose the talent that I did. First of all, I did not choose and of the musclebound freakshows that can't work. All of the talent that I chose are versitile and would bring something special to the table. There are all fairly young, charasmatic and they all put on one hell of show 100% of the time.

WRESTLING PROMTION OF WRESTLING aka WPoW

WWE Wrestlers

-Edge
-Triple H
-Chris Benoit
-CM Punk
-HBK
-Undertaker
-Jeff Hardy
-Matt Hardy
-Randy Orton
-Kane

My choices for the WWE Wrestlers that i have chosen have either all been an important title or should be in the case of Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy and CM Punk. Un fortunately I can't have more than these I would also have Mr. Kennedy and Carlito among others in a development system that would come up as guys like Taker, Kane and HBK retire.

TNA Wrestlers
-Samoa Joe
-Raven
-Christian Cage
-AJ Styles
-Christopher Daniels

I can't do much in terms of explaining these guys, but I have seen matches from two of them (Raven and Christian Cage) But I have heard nothing but good things about the other three that are there but to actually make it a proper promotion I would have liked to add another five to make it even with the number of WWE wrestlers.

Free Agent Wrestlers
-Chris Jericho
-Vampiro
-Psicosis
-CW Andersen
-Simon Diamond

Chris Jericho, his wrestling is good and he was the first Undisputed champion so he should be there. Vampiro and Psicosis are there to add a bit of Luchador style wrestling to the promotion. Ive been watching a few old ECW PPVs and have seen what these guys can do so iI included them. It is the same as the TNA wrestlers I would prefer to be able to pick another five. So 30 Wrestlers would be a nice round number that could get on in a decent two hour show or even do two shows with a single roster.

Commentators
-Good ol' Jim Ross
-Jerry 'the King' Lawler
-JBL

JR is a classic and deserves respect for his place in ProWrestling History, Jerry
Lawler is because of the Chemistry between him and JR. I added JBL because then you can have a second color commentator that can actually say what they should say instead of those that can't do that job well *cough*cough*Coach*cough*cough*

Creative Team
-Paul Heyman
-Tommy Dreamer
-Ric Flair
-Mick Foley

All I read on this site in terms of ECW is that Heyman was a brilliant Booker and from what I understand he was a good Writer as well. Tommy Dreamer is seen as a good Booker by some, so it is natural for him to be in the Creative team. Ric Flair, while not that good of a Booker he has the experience in the Industry that it would be a good thing for him to be involved in some way. Mick Foley is a brilliant Writer and could write some brilliant storylines.

Also the Ring would be Five-Sided. A middle gound between the Traditional four-sided ring of WWE and the Six-Sided ring of TNA.
