If WWE put out a DVD of the best matches ever..

Ruthless-RKO

F*ck Friends, Rather die wiv ma AK!
What would be on it? What are some of your favorite matches?

It makes it a little easier that you don't have to just one match, but you can pick however many you want..

Some of my choices would be..

Cactus Jack VS HHH (Streetfight) - RR2000
Cactus Jack VS HHH (Hell in a Cell) - No Way Out 2000
Chris Benoit VS HBK VS HHH at Wrestlemania XX
John Cena VS CM Punk - MITB 2011
Edge and Christian VS Dudley Boys VS Hardy Boys -TLC 2
Randy Savage vs. Ultimate Warrior - WM III
Hulk Hogan v. Andre the Giant - WM III
Undertaker vs. Mankind (Hell in a Cell)
Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels - Hell in a Cell
Triple H vs. Steve Austin - Three Stages of Hell
Steve Austin vs. The Rock - WrestleMania 17
Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar - Hell in a Cell
Hulk Hogan vs. Vince McMahon
Steve Austin vs. The Rock -WrestleMania 19
Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania 21
Undertaker vs. Triple H - WrestleMania 27
Undertaker vs. Triple H - WrestleMania 28

Okay, So i've named a lot there, maybe a 5 DVD Set :)

I know i've missed a lot, can you continue naming some you would include in your DVD?

Hulk Hogan versus The Rock at Wrestlemania 18.

At this point, I thought that Hulk Hogan was past his prime and let's face it, he was. But seeing this play out and evolve in a manner that even the WWE did not forsee, I thought I was really interesting to witness. Seeing the fans cheer for Hollywood Hogan and boo the Rock, and the guys having to roll with the punches was unique.

Bret "The Hitman" Hart versus The British Bulldog at Summerslam 1992.

One of my all time favorites, seeing the two family members put it all out there at Wembley Stadium. It's too bad we don't see more matches like his one nowadays.

Bret "The Hitman" Hart versus Stone Cold Steve Austin at WM 13.

The simultaneous heel turn of Hart and the face turn of Austin, launching the legendary career of the Ratlesnake. One can't help but wonder if things would have played out for Austin in the manner they did if the match hadn't taken place.

I think you have to include:
Triple H vs Shawn Michaels: SummerSlam 2002
Chris Jericho vs Triple H: Fully Loaded 2000
Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels: Wrestlemania XIX
Owen Hart vs British Bulldog: Raw is War; to determine the first European Champion
Triple H vs Chris Benoit: No Mercy 2000
Edge & Christian vs Hardy Boyz: No Mercy 1999
Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon: Wrestlemania X
and many more...

Tough question! I'm going to pick fourteen matches but I have no idea why 14 is the number that popped into my head for a DVD limit. These are just matches that I think were phenomenal and stand the test of time.

Bret Hart vs Mr.Perfect from Royal Rumble 1993
Bret Hart vs Steve Austin from Wrestlemania 13
Bret Hart vs 123 Kid from Raw
Bret Hart vs Owen Hart from Wrestlemania 10
Shawn Michaels vs Mankind from Mind Games
Shawn Michaels vs Kurt Angle from Wrestlemania 21
Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho from Mind Games 2008
Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho from Wrestlemania 2000
Jeff Hardy vs Undertaker Ladder Match from Raw
Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels from Wrestlemania 25
Triple H vs Cactus Jack HitC from Royal Rumble 2000
Ultimate Warrior vs Macho Man from Wrestlemania 7
Edge vs John Cena TLC Match from Unforgiven 2006
The Rock vs Steve Austin from Wrestlemania 17

Hogan vs Warrior WM
Hogan vs Andre WM III
Hart vs Austin WM
Austin vs Rock WM 15
Bret vs Owen (steel cage)
Hart vs Michaels (iron man)
Austin vs Rock WM 17
Michaels vs Angle (WM)
HHH vs Cactus RR & No Way Out
Undertaker vs Michaels WM 25
TLC I WM
TLC II WM
Undertaker vs HHH WM 27
Undertaker vs Mankind (HIAC)
Austin vs Rock WM 19
Benoit vs Michaels vs HHH Backlash
Guerrero vs Lesnar No Way Out
Angle vs Lesnar WM 19
Angle vs Lesnar (iron man)
Austin vs Michaels WM 14
Jericho vs Michaels Unforgiven
Elimination Chamber Survivor Series
Rock vs Mankind RR
Undertaker vs HHH WM 28
Rock vs Cena WM
Michaels vs Angle Vengeance
Hogan vs Rock WM

That would be a 8 disk blu-ray set. All of Shawn Michael's matches in upscaled quality has been my dream. There might be a few matches with The Rock on their, mainly the ones where Shawn Michaels makes a guest appearance either screwing him or helping him. Either way, I'd pay 300 bucks for it.

Randy Savage vs. Ultimate Warrior - WM III

Not sure which match you're actually referring to here... Macho Man/Warrior at WM VII, or Macho Man vs. Steamboat at WM III.

Either way, the Savage against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat bout from WM III would have to go on any list.

Shawn Michaels and Triple H vs The McMahon and Big show in a Handicap Hell In a Cell Match (Unforgiven 2006)

John Cena vs Edge in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match for the Wwe Championship (Unforgiven 2006)

Triple H vs Batista in a Hell In a Cell Match for the World Heavyweight Championship (Vengeance 2005)

Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero Ladder Match (Summerslam 2005)

The Undertaker vs Muhammad Hassan (The Great American Bash 2005)

Kane vs Shane McMahon in a Ambulance Match (Survivor Series 2003)

Shawn Michaels vs Triple H Three Stages of Hell (Armageddon 2002)

The Undertaker vs Edge in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match (One Night Stand 2008)

I'll pay a million dollars to have those matches erased from my memory.

I would like to see a Championship Unification DVD, titled “Champion of Champions the History of Greatness” or something like that. Of course, the matches that the WWE does not own would be excluded, but let’s just say they were able to secure the rights to them. Matches include, but are not limited to:

1. The first two prominent unifications of titles in the U.S. were done by Nikita Koloff. In 1986, he unified the NWA National Heavyweight Championship into his NWA United States Heavyweight Championship by defeating Wahoo McDaniel, and in 1987 he unified the (Mid-South) UWF Television Championship into his NWA World Television Championship by defeating Terry Taylor. In both cases, the unification process was started by Nikita's home promotion, Jim Crockett Promotions, upon absorbing another promotion (Georgia Championship Wrestling and the Mid-South UWF, respectively), and in both cases the titles from the absorbed promotions were abandoned.

2. The AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship was created with the unification of the NWA International Heavyweight Championship, the PWF Heavyweight Championship and the NWA United National Championship, when the NWA International Heavyweight Champion Jumbo Tsuruta defeated the PWF Heavyweight and NWA United National Champion Stan Hansen on April 18, 1989.

3. The AWA World Heavyweight Championship was unified with the Omaha World Heavyweight Championship (a belt created by promoters in Omaha, Nebraska) twice when Omaha World Champion The Crusher defeated AWA World Champion Verne Gagne in Omaha, Nebraska on July 9, 1963 and then the titles was unified again on September 7, 1963 when AWA World Champion Verne Gagne defeated Omaha World Champion Fritz Von Erich in Omaha, Nebraska. The Omaha version was abandoned after absorb with the AWA World title.

4. The AWA World Heavyweight Championship and the WCWA World Heavyweight Championship were unified to create the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship at SuperClash III, when the AWA World Heavyweight Champion Jerry "The King" Lawler defeated the WCCW Heavyweight Champion Kerry Von Erich. The WCCW World Heavyweight Title was quickly abandoned, and later the AWA stripped the AWA World Heavyweight Title from Jerry Lawler.

5. The J-Crown, a combination of several lightweight championships from various wrestling promotions (including the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship), was defended mostly in Japan and Mexico. The title has since been abandoned and all belts returned to their home promotions.

6. The WCW International World Heavyweight Championship was unified with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship when WCW Champion Ric Flair defeated International Champion Sting at Clash of the Champions XXVII. The International Championship was immediately abandoned, though the physical belt was used as the WCW Championship.

7. The ECW World Heavyweight Championship was unified with the FTW Heavyweight Championship (an unrecognized title created by Tazz) on March 21, 1999 at Living Dangerously when ECW World Champion Taz defeated FTW Champion Sabu. The FTW title was abandoned when Taz continued to defend the ECW title.

8. The ECW World Heavyweight Championship and the ECW World Television Championship were unified when TV Champion Rhino defeated World Champion The Sandman at ECW Guilty as Charged in January 2001. The Television title was abandoned upon ECW's demise soon after.

9. The WCW Cruiserweight Championship was briefly unified with the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship on July 30, 2001 when Light Heavyweight Champion X-Pac defeated Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman. The titles continued to be defended separately and X-Pac lost the Light Heavyweight Championship to Tajiri a week later.

10. The WCW United States Heavyweight Championship was unified with the WWF Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series 2001 when US Champion Edge defeated IC Champion Test. The United States title was abandoned, then revived in 2003 by Stephanie McMahon as a SmackDown!-exclusive title.

11. The WCW World Tag Team Championship was unified with the WWF Tag Team Championship at Survivor Series 2001, when the WCW Tag Team Champions, Dudley Boyz, defeated the WWF Tag Team Champions, Hardy Boyz. The Dudleys won the WWF Tag Team Championships, and their WCW Tag Team Championship was absorbed into the WWF titles and abandoned. The Titles had previously been unified at Summerslam 2001 when WCW Tag Team Champions The Brothers of Destruction defeated WWF Tag Team Champions Diamond Dallas Page & Chris Kanyon, although at that time both belts were held together instead of becoming one championship.

12. The WCW Championship and the WWF Championship were unified to create the WWF Undisputed Championship at Vengeance 2001 when Chris Jericho defeated WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin and WCW Champion The Rock in the same night. Essentially, the WWF Championship became the Undisputed Championship while the WCW Championship was retired, although the belts used to represent the two championships would adorn the Undisputed Champion for several months afterwards. After the brand extension, which split the WWF roster into two brands (Raw and SmackDown!), the Undisputed title served as the prime championship for both groups. The title again became "disputed" when champion Brock Lesnar announced he would only defend the belt on SmackDown! The following week, Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff announced the creation of the World Heavyweight Championship.

13. The WWE European Championship was unified with the WWE Intercontinental Championship in July 2002, when Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam defeated European Champion Jeff Hardy on Raw in a title unification match. The European title was abandoned as a separate championship.

14. The WWE Hardcore Championship was unified with the WWE Intercontinental Championship in August 2002, when Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam pinned Hardcore Champion Tommy Dreamer. The Hardcore Championship was abandoned soon after.

15. The WWE Intercontinental Championship was unified with the World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy when World Champion Triple H defeated Intercontinental Champion Kane. The Intercontinental Championship was immediately abandoned, then revived in May 2003 by Raw Co-General Manager Steve Austin.

16. The WWA World Heavyweight Championship was unified with the NWA World Heavyweight Championship when NWA Champion Jeff Jarrett defeated WWA Champion Sting on May 25, 2003 in Auckland, New Zealand in an inter-promotional match.

17. The ROH World Championship was unified with the ROH Pure Championship when ROH Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness lost to ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson in Liverpool, England on August 12, 2006, in a match contested under pure wrestling rules with the stipulation that both championships could be lost by disqualification or count out.

18. The International Wrestling Association unified the IWA World Heavyweight Championship with the WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship when the World Wrestling Council's champion abandoned the company and participated in a unification match which was recognized by the National Wrestling Alliance, in the process creating the first Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion in Puerto Rico.

19. The WWE Championship was unified with the ECW Championship on June 13, 2006 on the inaugural episode of ECW on SyFy when figurehead Paul Heyman awarded the re-commissioned ECW title to Rob Van Dam for winning the WWE title from John Cena at One Night Stand. Heyman originally intended for the WWE title to "become" the ECW title, but RVD chose to defend both titles separately. The titles separated on the July 3, 2006 episode of RAW after Edge won the WWE title in a triple threat match that also included Cena.

20. The NJPW version of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship unified with the IGF's version of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship when NJPW IWGP Champion Shinsuke Nakamura defeated IGF IWGP Champion Kurt Angle in Tokyo on February 17, 2008. The titles are unified due to a working agreement between TNA and New Japan Pro Wrestling in which Angle wrestles for TNA.

21. In a dark match before WrestleMania XXV, the WWE Tag Team Championship was unified with the World Tag Team Championship when WWE Tag Team Champions The Colóns (Carlito & Primo) defeated World Tag Team Champions John Morrison and The Miz in Houston, Texas on April 5, 2009 to become the "Unified WWE Tag Team Champions". On the August 16, 2010 edition of Raw, the World Tag Team Championship was retired and a new set of tag team championship belts for the WWE Tag Team Championship were introduced.

22. At WWE WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view in September 2010, the WWE Divas Championship was unified with the WWE Women's Championship. WWE Divas Champion Melina faced self-professed co-WWE Women's Champion Michelle McCool in a Lumberjill match. Michelle McCool won the match due to interference from Layla to unify the two titles. Following the win, the Women's Championship was retired after 54 years, with the official recognized champion, Layla, being the final champion.

There are some great matches on this listing. Each Legend / SuperStar on the DVD cover should be holding 2 or more Belts each. In the World of Kayfabe, where we’re supposed to suspend disbelief, having a DVD full of Champion(s) vs. Champion(s) matches is marketing genius. I’d even throw in 2 bonus matches.

23. WWE Champion, John Cena vs. World Champion, Booker T. vs. ECW Champion, Big Show.

24. WWE Champion, Triple H vs. World Champion, Chris Jericho vs. ECW Champion, Matt Hardy.

AJ Styles versus Christopher Daniels versus Samoa Joe, Unbreakable 2005 - though I already own it at least three times.
