What happens to Money in the Bank?
Presumably, the contract is no longer JUST for "one show" or "one title"? Presumably, Daniel Bryan can cash in at wrestlemania against whoever he wants.

Would this be the case or is he bound specifically to the world heavyweight championship?

What happens to the match in the future - where the format is one for RAW, and one for Smackdown? With no boundaries about who is on what show anymore, how does this change the match in the future?

What happens with matches such as the Elimination Chamber - again, very brand specific. Do we go back to 1 per year of each of these matches?

Gah. Damn you WWE. Damn you for keeping us guessing. I was just about getting used to the yearly routines :p.

-you make an excellent point. oh for the record, i guess now randy orton is happy cause he is on a live show. anyways on subject, it depends on if the wwe decides to unify the WHC and the WWE titles together or not. if they do, then one briefcase, for any title the person wants. if they dont then 2 MITB briefcases should still be used so that 2 people can cash in on any title at any time.thats just a randum idea, but it could work.

-the wwe could also get rid of the whole MITB concept and simply make a brand new ppv (like what they did with bragging rights, refering to how its now called vengence). so theres just a couple hypathetical ideas.

It all depends on what happens on Smackdown. If the Raw superstars can appears on Smackdown every week then yes Daniel Bryan can challenge for any world title and you should unify the wwe and world title but from what i got, This is only a Raw thing and Smackdown will remain the same, so there no need to unify the titles or thinking about daniel bryan's money in the bank briefcase.

Smackdown superstars may have appeared on Raw and may be doing so on a consistent basis in the near future and maybe even Raw superstars will appear on Smackdown but on the whole it does not mean that the brand extension will be totally dissolved. Therefore, I do think that the Smackdown winner will be able to cash in only on the Smackdown world champion as is the case now.

I do not actually think that HHH's announcement will change things much to be honest. Raw Superstars have been appearing on Smackdown and vice versa on a consistent basis anyway but the brand extension has not been dissolved. I think that more of the same will be happening in the future. It is more of an official acknowledgement of something that has been happening for some time rather than an annoucement that something different would happen from now on.

The brand extension will still be in place. Smackdown stars can now appear on Raw so that the flagship brand will have a little more star power. That being said, I think it will still only be the Raw guys going after Raw's titles. Same goes for Smackdown. Only Smackdown guys can challenge for Smackdown titles, even if Raw guys begin appearing weekly on Smackdown. This way matches like MITB and Elimination Chamber can remain brand exclusive at each PPV. The brand extension is still there, it just no longer prevents people from appearing on the other show. It is still in place though because it DOES prevent people from challenging another brand's champion unless they win the Royal Rumble or something. We will not see the end of branded matches at MITB or Elimination Chamber due to that. Not until the world titles as well as the midcard titles are unified, at least. That is when the brand extension might finally die.
