Ideal Feuds For Reigns Leading To Mania

Things change, but as of now most of us would expect Mania 31 to be Roman Reign' show. WWE have got to be careful who they pair him with between now & then. Who do you think would be the best people to pair him with to keep him on an upwards trajectory.

-Firstly Randy Orton. It is obvious because it is happening.

-Triple H

-Batista. Might not be part of Evolution anymore. still, it'd be a talking point if he could say he's defeated all three active members.

- Bray Wyatt. If he's paired with headline talent there's a chance he might peak too soon. Both are popular and it'd be a solid mid-card feud before they build towards what seems like an inevitable Rumble win.

-Rusev. Cena will have killed him by then. It'd be a good feud to establish during the Rumble and have a blow off in what will be a transitional PPV for Reigns in Elimination Chamber.

Anybody got any different ideas?

I don't think Mania 31 will be Reign's show. I think it will be Bryan's return show. If there were 2 big belts I can totally see Reigns being handed the WHC but not if there there is only one unified championship.

Going by list of PPVs

SummerSlam probably with Orton.
Night of Champions erm..no clue Orton rematch?
Hell in a Cell Kane's turn to job
Survivor Series Team Face vs Team Authority
TLC Triple threat with all 3 Shield members for the title after a cash in? Not sure if they would use this on a C-list PPV

Royal Rumble match.
Elimination Chamber probably involved in the title match if he didn't win the rumble though I expect Bryan to win the Rumble next year.
Mania - Feud with Wyatt

He needs a feud where he can actually develop some kind of persona beyond Samoan badass. Having to square to Wyatt might give him that chance on the mic while a feud with Rusev could force him to develop some more in-ring leadership and move set.

I would switch the Superman Punch to his finisher.

As for something different, he could maybe have a series of matches with Cena. A challenge match on the first RAW of 2015 (Cena wins/draw), the last two in the Rumble (Reigns wins) and big showdown at Elimination Chamber for the title shot at Mania, which Reigns' wins.

Cena/Reigns would seem like a waste if it didn't happen at Mania should Reigns really take off.

For his first post-Mania feud I think Reigns could do worse than Sheamus. If they steadily build Sheamus up over the next 9 months.

I would argue that if Reigns were to really take off, it would not matter that the match had already happened.

Seeing how much of a beating Reigns can take from a heel Sheamus could be a lot of fun, although if he has already taken the title from Brock he will likely have already taken a hammering.

They all can't wrestle. They should all be cut. They aren't good enough. The WWE is pushing them and they lost $800 million dollars. LOL WOW!

A Hell in a Cell match with HHH could be wonderful. Other than that, a couple of matches with Orton and maybe one with The Miz. Keep it simple, for now.

A short feud with Big Show around December-January would be nice. Apart from that I think he will go through Evolution from here on.

Maybe a Cesaro Vs Reigns too.

It would make the most sense for him to follow on his word take care of Orton then Triple H and take out The Authority one-by-one. He got rid of Kane. At Summerslam he should lose to Orton and then beat him at NOC. He moves on to part two and takes out Triple H in a HIAC match. He faces HHH again at Survivor Series and wins again. He then moves on for his revenge against Rollins. He feuds with Rollins until Elimination Chamber. TLC he beats Rollins. Royal Rumble he beats Rollins. At this point The Authority is over and it is just a normal feud between Rollins/Reigns. At RR Triple H comes to an unlikely ally (Reigns) after going to several guy's (Orton,Cesaro,Bryan) who couldn't get to job done to save WWE and the title from Lesnar. Reigns does and say's he is doing it for the fans. He loses to Rollins by DQ after Rollins pulls a Eddie Guerrero on him. He moves on to the Rumble match where the final 3 is Reigns,Rollins and Ambrose. He eliminates Rollins and it is down to him and Ambrose. H eliminates Ambrose. Who shakes his hands and walks away looking a little pissed. He calls Lesnar out right then and there. Lesnar is there after beating Bryan at the event. Lesnar comes down beats him down. Reigns fight back but falls victim to an F-5. The next night Reigns say's he won't wait for Mania he wants Lesnar now. Lesnar's music hit but he doesn't show Rollins hits Reigns in the back of the head with the briefcase. Ambrose doesn't get on the Mania card. After Reigns beats Lesnar at Mania. The next night on Raw Rollins goes to cash in but I beat down and stopped by Ambrose. Dean then sneak attacks Reigns turning heel. The two till then feud with Ambrose blaming Reigns for him not being on the Mania card. Dean comes up short. At Battleground after losing to Reigns again Dean snaps and hits him in the head with a chair. Rollins cashes in and curb stomps Reigns for the win. At MITB Ambrose wins MITB. And in the main event Rollins wins clean to Reigns. Ambrose cashes in this time on Rollins. Reigns spears Ambrose and Rollins leading to a triple threat title match at Summerslam with Ambrose prevailing.
