Idea For New Heel Divas

Ok I can't seem to get this posting threads thing right but I see hypothetical/idea sharing threads here all the time so I'll make short and sweet.

So honestly as a 21 yr old straight man I'm even starting to find the whole concept of divas today to be tasteless. I mean I cringe when I see eve do that booty shake its like are you a 15 school girl at your first party cuz grown woman don't do that unless they're strippers or drunk like really thats all you can do to get a cheap pop from the drunks and horndogs in the crowd? And kelly kelly shes got a nice little moveset ill give it to her shes not terrible by the standards of today but they overdo it with her man tuck the boobs in a little act like you care.

So why not have two new chicks right? Run promos saying something like "elegance is coming".. hell maybe thats a name for them but picture these two snobbish ballerina british chicks. They come out in those big old fashioned dresses and cut promos downing the divas. Backstage they may approach a diva with a present and maybe its a huge dress or something and they tell them they should cover up. I'd have them be really good wrestlers though when they team up, they wear ballerina leotards in the ring and do ballerina like moves. think black swan meets the bellas with william reagels old entrance theme idk something like that

So there you have it another stupid idea from another stupid wrestling fan. Care to expand? would this even work? like it, bash it, whatever....

Nah, I'm sick of the top heel divas being a tag team or partners or bff's or whatever you wanna call it, they already did that angle with LayCool, it worked great but people got tired of them, so they break up and Michelle McCool leaves, just when we think we finally got a break from a certain angle that got kinda old.. Bam! WWE does it again with The Bella Twins! I'm really just sick of this, I just want the top heel diva to be a singles wrestler who doesn't need help to put out her opponents, we haven't see someone like that since what? Alicia Fox? Maryse? Seriously I just want a single diva to be the top heel challenging for the title without her friend or sidekick always with her, if they wanna do that angle again they should make diva tag titles, and make them the top heels in that divison, but knowing WWE that's actually impossible, maybe they should even give the divas their own show like on WWE.com, I mean common those ladies can't even wrestle a match more than 5 minutes unless it's on superstars.

It sounds as if you're suggesting a female only off-shoot of the Right To Censor to me. It's not a bad idea. A twosome like that would have plenty of material to work with given the particular Divas in the WWE today. I could see them recruiting Beth Phoenix as muscle in order to turn her heel as well.

Thing is, they'd have to be booked as seriously dominant if it were to be worth the trouble of bringing them about in the first place. In order to force the issue, they'd have to be able to take on whomever they ran into (one of the reasons for the inclusion of Phoenix.) They'd be able to generate some instant heat given that many of those who don't go to the bathroom during the Divas matches are primarily there to see scantily clad women cat-fight. If these Divas are pushing for less skin to be shown, they'll get booed pretty easily.

They had the perfect thing going with Kharma. The last thing they need is to make a British Victorian era Molly Holly. I wish they'd bring back Serena Deeb to be honest. If she could keep her shit together and make an ass out of herself, she could be a major asset to the Diva's division and if WWE wanted her to be, she could be an unconventional Diva, like she was before. Punk and Serena had the makings to be one hell of a pairing before she was let go.

Thats why I'd have them be really good wrestlers. I picture them dominating with "elegant ballerina" type moves(quick counters maybe followed by vicious kicks since ballerinas are known to have strong legs and rough feet) Maybe theres two divas who knew ballerina and can incorporate it into the wrestling world. I'd imagine them being a little slimmer but taller than most the divas Think right to censor with more of the feel of an early hunter hearst helmsley. I mean I find this would be different than laycool or the bellas because they didnt really have a gimmick its just two stereo typical chicks and one set of them happened to be twins if you wanna call that a gimmick. I just think things like this because the divas division did almost get exciting with kharmas arrival but now that shes gone theres a huge void again. Who knows maybe an team of elegant divas can gain respect from a certain demographic maybe women in late 20's to late 30's idk im just goin on here but idk this is one of those things in my head I want the divas division to be more entertaining because it would raise the standards of the overall product.

I don't know if it would work. When Molly Holly did her "pure and wholesome" character in 2002, it was nothing but an excuse for the really hot girls to let it all hang out in front of her while she stood there with her mouth hanging open. It seemed like every skit she was in involved her with some hottie, with Molly going off on her about her skimpy outfit or whatever, and the hottie would just spin it back at her, claiming she was jealous because she wasn't as sexy as they were.

If you really want to save the Divas division, stop focusing entirely on sex appeal! There are some great women there who can actually wrestle (Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Gail Kim, Melina, ...), but all the TV time on Raw goes to the four most beautiful but least talented women in the company: Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres and The Bella Twins. I like looking at a beautiful woman as much as the next guy, but on a wrestling show, I fully expect them to be able to do the job, not just play off their looks to pop the crowd.

I Agree completely. In my head I the gimmick as more snobby like queen elizabteh like. Really kayfabe not just wholesome girl but I still agree with them not playing off their looks like just being a model. they will play off their looks but they all just play off looking good generically. Kharma was changing that she was a monster diva thats probably taboo but beth pheonix always seems unstoppable. I remember gail from her glory days but I havent seen impressive divas in the ring since natalya is good though.

But seriously is there a reason why they cant take simple back bumps these days? No excuses....

Totally agree i looking at hot women what guy doesnt but if i am watchign a wrestling program i fully expect the divas to actually know how to wrestle!! Melina Natalya (Beth Phoenix who i think is super hot) Gail kim can all wrestle really well.. Problem is looks overshadow everything so thats that i guess
