More than likely, the Sheriff's Office will just send someone out to give you the ticket and require payment within a week or so.

This has happened to me before, they sent a letter to my house saying they had issued a warrant for my arrest, and I needed to come down to the jail and pay the bond, or what ever, which was around $170, I somehow manged to put it off for about 2 1/2 years before finally taking care of it, after paying that, I got a new court date, and took care of the ticket
