I think I can finally explain why I don't like Miz!

Yes, I'm very excited. How excited? ! excited!

Miz had his first really superb singles contest last night. About darn time. But I still don't like him. Why?

His character. His rants and raves about how we are all wrong and how great he is strike the same nerve for me that Matt Hardy's Twitter rants do. And not in a light-hearted, amusing way. He doesn't have his character grounded in the sort of absurdity that Swagger and Rhodes do, so watching him is less palatable. Not in the good "heel heat" way, either. I'm talking about the way that makes me want to change the channel.

So you might be thinking that his serious tone is fine considering he's headed to the main event. Well, no. Sheamus and Chris Jericho and the like still pull of absurdity rather well, and Miz doesn't do serious as well as someone like... Drew McIntyre or Wade Barrett.

What I see in the Miz is someone who falls short of being taken seriously yet is not booked in a way that's fun, like Swagger or Rhodes. He's some strange, ugly step-child on the heel side of things that just doesn't click. I don't like watching it because it's so... underwhelming.

Maybe there's just something in the water over here today.

the miz is entertaining to most people on the mic. i didnt like his fued with cena at all. but everything after that he became alot better. and ive always been a miz fan before he came the us champ. i was a big fan when he was fueding with balls mahoney

The dude is hitting Maryse in real life.

There is nothing average or overrated about that.

In ring wise, easily. Even though Morrison is pretty shit, he pulls a great one out of his ass every now and then.

I like pie more.. If they put a pie in the ring against Miz, I'd be pulling for the pie to win. Weirder things have happened.. Head won the Hardcore title after all.

See, now that was more memorable then any of Miz's matches.

The Miz is the most overrated wrestler on the planet. When has he ever put on a great singles match? Sure, he's done ok in some, but I have never seen anything really great (or even better than average) from the guy.

And it really bothers me when I hear comparisons to The Rock (on the mic). On the mic, The Rock was 10x as creative, and even more so entertaining.
