So, I take the woman I'm seeing to a resort three hours away (I've had reservations for a month now ) only to find out that they're closed for snow damage. Now, they'll be open next weekend, and I've been comped a suite for then, but now I have the most romantic holiday of the year tomorrow and nothing to show for it. So, what should I do? Going to a fancy restaurant is out of the question, as they've been booked in advance for a month. I've already told her that we'll celebrate next weekend, and if worse comes to worst, I'll leave it at that. But, my A-game requires me to pull some kind of miracle out of my ass here (or at least something very, very clever).
