But alas, no

For some unknown reason none of my friends want to go. None of them have prior engagements and most of them not only like Snow Patrol, several are big fans yet they won't go...

Its the good weather at the moment- all people in Ireland go a little crazy whenever they see sun for the first time in their lives. Best free tickets I ever got were for Modest Mouse when they played in December. Never listened to them before that but a free ticket is almost always worth checking out.

A long day on Saturday - did not get home until after 3am, with only having one Guinness all day as I had to drive home from the train station but it was well worth it to have been at the biggest gig ever in Northern Ireland. Might only have been a paltry 50,000 but that is pretty good for a paltry little country that doesn't have any stadiums bigger than 20,000...

I'd rather stick my dick in a shark's mouth than see a band I do not like for free. What's worse than being at a concert where I don't like the band? Not a lot, but all the reasons I can think of that are involve some kind of dismemberment.
