I need new music for my ipod

LSN80

King Of The Ring
Ive got about 2000 songs on my ipod, and can hold about 600 more. Im getting tired of the same old stuff. Give me a recommendation, any genre, any time, and if I like it, you get green rep. If i don't, no big deal. Who wants to help me out and get some rep?

It would help to know what you already have on there so as not to recommend something you already have.

With that being said I recommend Taking Dawn and Monster Magnet, two lesser known bands who I have just recently discovered. Also Rob Zombies Jesus Frankenstein and Pussy Liquor and Mellicas Dyers Eve, loving those songs at the moment. Hope I helped.

Id never heard them before. Ive seen MM live at a festival before, and while I didnt like their music, they were damn fine live.

Give Gogol Bordello a try. They're pioneers of "gypsy punk", and are just a different, high-energy band.

Arguably their most popular songs are Wonderlust King and Start Wearing Purple, and they're pretty good for getting the general feel of the band.

They're an acquired taste to some, so I understand if it's not your thing, but I love 'em.

My all time favorite band is Kiss. You either love em, hate em, or think they are fine, Obviously.
There's some other bands I love too, but I'm actually planning on uploading some new songs myself, not sure if they're in your preferences but my to get list is:

All the songs on the Grand Theft Auto 4: The Lost and Damned Soundtrack
Some cool Christmas songs to lighten up the Holiday.
Those christmas songs will eventually piss me off once X-mas is over. Wow, I used White text twice in this post, I'm on a roll...

I figured as much. Time after time is an epic song and I loved miles take on it. Id heard of the Decemberists but had never bothered to check them out. Good stuff here.

Get Hazards of Love from The Decemberists, I can't recommend it highly enough.

This is easily my favourite Decemberists song and the rest of the album is just as good.

Another suggestion is Porcupine Tree

Frankie Goes to Hollywood

De La Soul

While yes I know someone will bag me for posting Invisible Touch, it is a good pop song, plus the video is fun

What all kinda music are you into LSN?? I myself like everything from death metal, to rockabilly, to country, to alternative, to pop, and all that in between.

Here's a few of my recommendations..

Horrorpops good rockabilly band. Breaking Benjamin. Hail the Villain. AtomSmash. Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Johnny Cash (Can't go wrong with THOSE classics). Christian Kane (he's a relatively newer country-rock artist...classified as Rockabilly..he's an actor on the show Leverage. Kerli..she's an alternative rock artist, Darling Violetta, did the theme song to the tv show ANGEL, and that cd has a great mix of songs.

Post # 13 is an example of the stuff Im into. I listen to anything really, from 70's music to alternative rock to folk music. As long as I feel the music is emotional and it gets me invested musically or lyrically, Im interested. Green rep coming your way when i re-load(that sounds bad;) ) for the Hail the Villian(Take Back The Fear!), Atom Smash(Sacrifice!) and Kerli(tea party!) recommendations, all sweet artists I had forgotten about.

Oh and just for mentioning BB. One of my favorite freaking bands.:)
