I Love the PG era

The business should NEVER go in circle. Just that statement proves the fact that WWE sucks major balls now. It should move forward. Why revert to something you were doing 20 years ago? Oh wait, I know why, because you're lazy to come up with a new concept or don't have the talent to keep the previous one going.

I don't want cursing, boobies, ass, lots of blood, lots of violence. It's not what I watch wrestling for. It's better with the aforementioned things because it's just more "free". I feel better watching a program that has these things just allowed because like it or not, sometimes they take feuds and confrontations to a whole new level.

What people don't realize is that they don't have a problem with the PG Era. People complain about titles not meaning anything, people not defending them, poor gimmicks, people getting pushed then forgotten, bad matches, Cena's moves, etc etc. - That's not because of the PG Era, that's WWE ITSELF!

The PG rating is strict against cursing and sexually explicit content. And blood. THAT'S IT! It does not alter the quality of a program or a match. Therefore, anyone who blames the PG Rating for the current sate of events in WWE should go fuck himself because he's stupid.

I hate WWE, but not because of the PG Rating. For a company that touts Entertaining, it's not fucking entertaining.

Matches : It's the same damn match every week. I've seen Kofi/Ziggler at least 10 times and each time it's the same match, but a different finish. So three seconds of difference between the 10. Same damn moves, same sequences, same spots, same commentary ... each and every fucking time.

Promos : The promos are straight out bromidic. What ELSE do the wrestler say aside from "I will defeat you" and "No you will not". That's it. There's no badmouthing, there are no put downs, no storytelling. Nothing. Smackdown! seems to be doing a fine job at that department though. I love the S.E.S promos and the stuff Swagger does. Other than that - c.r.a.p

Gimmicks : Dreadful. Faces are all the same, heels are all the same. With a few exceptions of course. THe exceptions being the top guys because WWE gives the cool shit to them only.

Storylines : Same old crap. For a storyline there's no damn story in it. "I attack you, you attack me, then I attack you, and you me, then we go to PPV". That's it. No motive, no story, nothing to give these fans a reason to be emotionally connected with the face OR the heel for that matter.

So all of that equals to a very boring experience. I don't like it. I'm glad that you're able to watch this with your family, you must hate them a lot if you're ready to put them through that snooze fest.

P.S: Nice biography... sheesh....

If you hate wwe so much, seriously don't watch it.

and are you really saying there is no storylines? lets see, first thing that comes to mind... Nexus. the decided to wreak havoc on the wwe, people stepped up, feuds started. Miz vs Daniel Bryan, story line. Undertaker, Kane, Storyline. I could keep going... your post makes no sense. and as for the family story, it helped prove my point.

I agree with the OP.

And for those hating on the storylines, let me tell you this. The storylines nowadays are actually well written and the raw we had this week was the best RAW I ever saw in 2010. Heck, according to me, in terms of storylines 2010 might be the best year in the past 4 years. In 2009, you had this great Punk/Hardy fued with great matches and a great storyline about Hardy takings drugs(which is true) and JeriShow/DX.
This year, you had great feuds like Batista/Mysterio, Orton/Legacy, HBK/Taker, Vince/Bret and Raw/Nexus.
And now we have Taker/Kane, Miz/Bryan and Kofi/Ziggler.
So I mean to say that PG era is not as bad as you think.
