I know to attract audiences you must have a draw.You must have a little gimmick or angle to attract people.And some people watch wrestling just for those gimmicks.Some people,like me,tune into see these angles and gimmicks plus good wrestling.WWE is fine for the little kids that don't care about the wrestling quality,and for the brainwashed adults who don't care,but WWE doesn't offer enough good wrestling for me.

So you're saying that any Shawn Michaels match is not good. Or even any Edge, Taker, Triple H, Cena, Hogan, Flair, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio and many others don't put on quality matches. The certainly do but they are also smart enough to incorporate they're gimmicks into their matches as well. Any ROH match I've seen is boring because none really have gimmicks and only go out to wrestle. Gimmicks = Entertainment, Entertainment = Viewers, Viewers = Money. Which is why ROH is not a major player.

There are too many stupid gimmicks ,angles,repeat matches,wrestlers who bore me because they can't wrestle that good,wrestlers who just can't wrestle,and good wrestlers not getting pushed.ROH has a few angles,no outlandish gimmicks,and good wrestling.That's why I view it as better than WWE and TNA.CHIKARA and IWA East-Coast also entertain me.XPW was okay and 3PW is okay.I haven't seen any CZW so I can't say about that.TNA and WWE are okay,I still watch them,but they could do much better.And ROH sells 10 or 20 dollar PPV's compared to WWE's 40 dollar ones.Which would you rather pay?

I agree that there WAS too many repeated matches. They've since fixed this and added more surprises to keep me viewing.

I would rather pay the 40 to watch a quality and entertaining program. ROH is neither.

Now about ROH having no gimmicks.Listen to this.If you gave Bryan Danielson a cocky Flair-type gimmick and put him in the ring he would be over big-time.Bring him to WWE and have him say he is gonna beat everybody because he is the greatest.Major Heat.Then have him use his wrestling ability plus a few heel tactics to go undefeated for a while.Build him up as the next Flair.Then have him finally be beat by a face like Batista or Cena.Great potential in that.He would be a major heel and fans would be eager to see him get beat.Moneymaking idea right there.

They are lame finishers. But they get them fucking WAYYYYYY over. Like I said. You never will see Danielson get over with a scoop slam the way Hogan did. Moves aren't everything, its how you use them.

HHH is okay but not great.

HHH is awesome. He has seriously lost a step or two but that is attributed to his injuries. He's more over than Danielson. But you say Danielson is awesome.

What do you want him to do? Come out in a stripper suit and say he's here to party. Orton Plays his character perfectly.

WWE provides this because they have gimmicks, stories, and quality matches. ROH is not wrestling, it is men putting on a show in order to entertain you. On some level I sympathize with FOTH here. It is sooo easy to fall into the trap of linking moves to ability. When you first become a wrestling fan, especially as a teen, your first instinct is to watch youtube and wiki it's history. You have no emotional attachment to the matches, so you just look at the offense. When researching wikipedia you see the move lists and it is hard not to be lured in. I came deathly close to a point where I would only care about moves. Fortunately I decided to watch a ROH match to see what the hype was about...it was unbearable.
