BADA BOOM! REALEST GUYS IN THE ROOM! HOW YOU DOIN'?

Enzo and Cass have been working live events recently speculating a call up to the main roster. For me this is very exciting. They worked a dark match on Main Event i believe and have been my favorite tag team in NXT for a while now.

How are we feeling about Enzo and Cass in general? And on the main roster? I feel like with the chemistry and Charisma they have together this should be one of the examples of their real life personality tuned to 11. Give them a little control over their characters and you're sitting on a merchandise cash cow.

I dont really have a comment for Carmella. Shes hott. Enzo and Cass are good without her. I also see why shes with them for their storyline on NXT.

Side-note i really hope they are working dark matches this next week with me attending smackdown! If not WWE i only have one word to describe you...and im gonna speelllllll it out for ya S-A-W-F-T SAAAWWWFFFTTT!!!

Yeah its brilliant how they both have evolved over the months. They're energetic and Big Cass is seriously big and agile. They connect with the crowd pretty much. What could you expect more? Oh yes, their wrestling skills, they got it undoubtedly, not to say the least. But the only concern in this context is, WWE already got lot of tag teams inline and not been using so well. The New Day are seriously hot as well and the PTP are just evolving as the babyfaces. Where can we put Enzo and Cass? Alongside Lucha Dragons? They're irrelevant already.. If the WWE can fix this issue, then we have the tag team revolution. Its imminent.

Funny, I agree with you on certain things, but disagree on others. PTP and New Day are making the tag division hot again. Matadores seem to get much more TV time on Raw and Smackdown lately and I feel like the Lucha Dragons are still hot. On the lower tier, you still have Ascension who desperately need something going on. Same with Sandow and Axel. I love everything about Enzo and Cass, but I would hold off for a few months. Just me, though

I don't get the appeal of them as faces. They annoy me.
If they brought them up as heels I'd be okay with that.
Not in the typical "they're so much better as heels because they're cooler that way" but more in the way Miz makes a great heel. I want to see them get punched in the face.

Make them heel.

Then you have them, The Ascension and The New Day as heel tag teams.

You have Lucha Dragons, PTP, Axel and Sandow, and El Matadores as face tag teams.

At least that mixes things up a tiny bit.

WWE doesn't need another face team on the main roster right now. They need a heel team or two.

Are Los Matadores heel? I never really know what they're supposed to be. They got a huge face pop at the live show I was just at a couple weeks ago and The Ascension wrestled on that show too. It was a triple threat tag team elimination match between them, Lucha Dragons and Los Matadores. Which Lucha Dragons won.

If the Usos are going to come back soon, that's even more reason to have Enzo and Cass as heels.

If Los Matadores are heels then that would give the balance of

Matadores, New Day, Enzo and Cass, and The Ascension as heels

Usos, PTP, Lucha Dragons and Axel and Sandow as faces.

That gives 8 teams with 4 face and 4 heel. That's a healthy mix.

I'm not sure how long Tyson is going to be out for.

Honestly they would best be suited as a tweener, regardless of who theyre facing Enzo is going to make fun of his oppenent, they're entertaining enough to get over with the crowd and will get cheered whether they face a heel or face. so it doesnt matter what they are with theyre current gimmick. Just give them the green light.

Side-note; Just imagine Enzo mocking los matadores xD

Personally, I have zero interest in seeing Enzo and Cass on the main roster at this stage of the game. Like so many of the talent in NXT, I believe that they have a gimmick that works well in the small confines of Full Sail, but one which will not translate well to the larger environment of RAW, Smackdown, PPV, and the larger audiences that each entails.

This is true of many people from NXT. The Ascension were a big deal in NXT, and they've been nothing on the main roster. Emma was thought highly of in NXT, but did little on the big stage. Just because someone is significant in NXT by no means guarantees main roster success. Guys like Tyler Breeze and the Vaudevillains are likely going to find the same problem as well.

I'm not saying no one from NXT will be successful. Obviously, plenty of people have made the transition quite nicely. But not everyone will. And I simply don't think that Cass and Enzo are ready for the big time yet. If ever.

The phrase Enzo always uses whenever they come to the ring, whether it be for promos or a match, is almost certainly something that'll be embraced by fans; just the NXT crowds, the crowds on the main roster will be saying the thing word by word before long and I don't think it'll give them the sort of reception that a heel tag team needs. On top of that, if they came to the main roster and stayed exactly the same then, with Vince's sometimes illogical beliefs, he may well take it out on them if they don't deliver the sort of fan response Vince thinks they should, despite the fact that their abundance of babyface tendencies. If that happens, they go the way of The Ascension vying for the position of WWE's biggest jobbers since Doink The Clown.

My main concern ofcourse is Vince, my hope is exactly what you said, the entrance. If vince sees Enzo connect with the crowd similar to how the roadd dogg did with the NAO. He can give them the green light to connect through promos as well as the ring. Im almost willing to bank on Enzos entrance being their ultimate factor on the main roster

Enzo & Big Cass are the definition of the total package as a team, and they will easily be the most over tag-team in the business, probably one of the most over acts on the show period. A feud with the New Day could be especially entertaining. Enzo Amore is something that a lot of wrestlers nowadays aren't. He's an interesting personality that can actually work the mic. He and Cass both have genuine charisma and you can expect big things from them. I can't wait until they're called up full time.

I totally agree with your point about Vince punishing them if they didn't get the response he wanted.

Honestly this is just me not liking them. That's my only reason for wanting them to be heel. I'm sure I'm in the minority in not liking them.

Aside from New Day and maybe Lucha Dragons....all the tag teams in the division are boring or just not important.

New Day - The most entertaining team.

PTP - Champs....Titus O Neil has improved in the ring....but both suck on the mic...and not overly a great team, not sure why they are holding the belts.

Lucha Dragons - Zero mic opportunities but not needed , great Lucha team if given the chance...have been playing it safe and dare I say BORING lately.

Los Matadors - Generic high flying team , like a bad version of Lucha Dragons.

Cesaro \ Kidd - No more.

Ascension - Not given much of a chance out of the gate thanks to JBL.

Beta\Mega Powers - Jobbers.

The tag team division really, is not that good overall.
