How much longer before the KO Tag Titles are deactivated?

OK, so basically we know that as of late, the TNA Knockouts division has somehow become worse than the WWE divas.

Of course the current champs are The Beautiful People who of course in storyline are splitting up. Lets face it, the titles are worthless. I went on wiki, and the entire KO division has only 10 women in it. The titles at this point are more or less a prop for the BP and have'nt been defended since...yeah I actually went blank on that one.

So my questions are,

Will the Titles ever be defended?

If not, will they be deactivated eventually?

And if so then how long before they are?

Well with the BP splitting up and Taylor Wild and Sereta gone then there is really no one left TBH there wasnt really anybody in the first place, these belts should have never been created. So to anwser your questions they may get one more defense but I doubt it. Yes I see them being deactivated sooner rather than later.

It shouldn't be much longer. Hell if they ever decided to keep it, I would make it strictly a prop and have The Beautiful People rename them the Beautiful Titles (ala the Million Dollar Championship).

But really though, considering there is absolutely no KO Tag Division to speak of, the deactivation of the Titles is imminent.

There's really no sense in them existing. In fact, their inception never really made sense. Why add tag titles to a division that nobody really cares about? Knowing the stupidity of TNA, the titles will probably not be going anywhere for a while.

Well, they were brought in when Dixie thought the KO division was getting attention and she wanted to make it a real division, but then slowly Hogan/Bischoff came and well diva's were released most notably Awesome Kong...and the division went downhill from then onwards...now I don't think they even need the KO womens champion...10 Divas?? its a joke division!!

Eh', unless they go with Velvet/Angelina vs. Madison/"mystery biker", with the winners taking the belts. I don't see it happening. They would need to bring in way more "Knockouts", thus flooding the two hour show with more people than it can handle. Or, they could strip the BPs of the belts and put 'em up in a tournament, who the hell knows.

I would say they almost have to. As I said, unless they bring in a good bit more girls, and form some teams, there isn't much point in having the belts around.

I'd say within the next two months, if that long. Probably once the Beautiful People are completely dissolved, the belts will be history.

This division is like a bowling league with 3 or 4 teams. Except 3 or 4 teams in bowling means that the league folds. The Tag Titles should be gone before the end of the year, and the booking of the Knockouts needs a complete overhaul. Before Bischoff and Hogan arrived, the Knockouts were head and shoulders above the WWE divas. Now the knockouts are behaving like divas and not knockouts. Face it, Angelina Love is the cream of the crop, and TNA could survive losing any of the other divas. Taylor Wilde may be gone as she has fizzled, Sarita has not lived up to the hype from when she was introduced, and when are any of the other divas on TV? For weeks it has been BP, Love, Wilde, Sarita, and Tara, oops "mystery biker."

Today, I hope. They never should have been activated to begin with.

1. Womens wrestling is not a draw, no matter how much anyone likes to think it is.

2. TNA's Knockout division, even in it's heyday, was never large enough to accommodate for extra titles.

Right now they're little more than extra large belt buckle props for Sky and Von Erich to carry around, so I'd hope they're dissolved sooner rather than later.

I think that with what we saw last week on Impact they are slowly going to scrap these useless belts. The sooner the better I say. The belts were just a way for TBP to look strong and now that it looks they are breaking up their is no need for these belts anymore

I for one hope its no long at all, these are just as bad as the WCW's cruiser weight tag titles or 6 man tag team titles. Strictly womans tag titles are a bad idea when you have such a lack of teams anyway. Its the same way with WWE having a womans championship for each brand and then having one of the titles held by two people. I just don't see the need for these sorts of things.

They need to get rid of them pronto. They are useless now more than ever. I'm hoping they get rid of them so they can go back to focusing on putting importance back into the Knockouts title. By the way to the guy who said that it's a joke division if they onlyhave 10 girls in it, when focusing on one title and considering they have 1 girls who actually wrestle as opposed to another companies division that has about 18 girls and use maybe 3 or 4 and use the others for eye candy (even though that's what they are best at) TNA id doing pretty decent in terms of actual talent.

Probably not. What other tag teams does the division have? Sartia and Wilde broke up, and they were the only other team in the division. Although, TNA will most likely put some make-shift team together.

If not, will they be deactivated eventually?

Even if they are defended soon, what does it matter? The belts have no credibility, and no opponents. I really hope the belts get retired asap.

And if so then how long before they are?

Whenever the beautiful people break up. That'll be the last we hear of the belts. I hope, anyways.

I am more interested in when people will quit obsessing about something so meaningless. OMG they have a tag-belt, let us complain about this meaningless title being used occasionally as a prop. Why does it matter so much that it exists? I just do not get it. It is not taking time from anyone because it is not used. I do not know why everyone is playing chicken little with the KO division anyway. Like most of TNAs product it is on the uptick again. In fact, I think they could get the belts over if they had more time. There is no time for them on impact but I could see them being of interest on Xplosion for example if they chose to try and keep them.

I really don't see any use for them considering there hasn't been a tag title defense in weeks, and the only team in the Knockout division is Lacey and Velvet. Since the beautiful people are over with, and so many knockouts have either quit or have been released there is no worth to them. The only team feuding for the tag title belts are now split in Sarita and Taylor Wilde.

Unless TNA plans to hire a bunch of knockouts any time soon, these belts are pretty much worthless.

When i first heard about the Knockout Tag Titles. I was looking forward to it. I actually thought TNA was going to bring in some more knockouts for those titles because at the time the knockout division was thin and needed more range of talent. Now with the release of Awesome Kong, ODB and Roxxi there is not many "wrestlers" in the knockout division apart from Madison Rayne who's in ring skills in my opinion are improving.

I am 100% in agreeance with this post. The only real combination that seems to have relevance right now is Angelina/and possibly teaming up with Velvet again, against Madison/mystery biker.

Other than that, there's no one else to really pair up. We see people usually on a one night stand performance anymore these days. (Rosie, Daffney -where u been?..and Sarita and Taylor are having issues...) Let's face it, the KO division is pretty much extinct with the exception of TBP (whatever version you consider.) Short of having a whole new casting call, I'm not sure what else they would do other than just shelving belts period.
