How Can Wwe Make House Shows Better?

Here the house shows are recently great except from the one a few mounths ago. People were actualy asking for their money back lol. Through the WWE were not to blame for this. The amount of injuries at the time of this house show were never ending. One week before Cena was injured, and a ton of other big stars could'nt make it either. But the show itself was decent.

Last night I attended a RAW house show, and I'll briefly sum it up and then say how WWE could have, if at all made it better.

A lot of people have referred to a lack of 'production values'...well last night we got a ring, a small entrance way made of steel bars, a few lights and entrance music obv....

In terms of the in-ring action:

1. Regal v Kingston: A good, solid opener in which Kofi was way over and Regal is always great at drawing heat from the Northern Irish fans....so a good start to the show.

2. Dolph Ziggler v Kane: Decent enough match with Kane allowing Dolph to get loads of offence in before an inevitable chokeslam for the pin. The fans loved Kane which says a lot as he still gets some of the loudest cheers despite being in a match this early on the card....

3. Melina and Kelly Kelly v Santina and Beth: A good match and Melina is very flexible!!! I haven't really been buying the Santina character until last night...2 words...bloody hilarious!! Stangely Santina was allowed to pin Melina....

4: Goldust v Miz: Good match and Goldust is in great shape now...the Miz is great as a heel imo, he just oozes charisma. Only thing is wee kids when they saw Goldust where like wtf?! One guy shouted out "Goldust shouldn't be allowed anywhere near children!" which was a funny moment....

5: Colons v Knox and Haas (title match): Another solid performance with Haas gaining loads of heel heat...he was really bothered with fans shouting 'you suck' at him...Knox very impressive here with a high dropkick on Primo.

Intermission: Toney Chimel does the usual flogging of merch and tells us all to watch Backlash...

The Honey Monster comes to the ring and does Hogan impressions and people are sort of laughing and others just cringe...

6: Morison v Jamie Noble: Again, good entertaining contest and Morison pulled out some incredible moves..risky...and nice to see him not hold back at a house show.....

7: Jericho v Punk: Fantastic matchup with Jericho interacting well with the crowd and drawing major heat..that guy is a master on the mic for sure..Punk wins when Ricky Steamboat distracts Y2J...

8: Edge and Show v Cena and Mysterio: Edge and Show had great chemistry and interacted well with the crowd..they created some hilarious moments and Show pulled out a dropkick and flipped over Cena into a pin attempt! They def weren't holding back here. Cena with an FU (impressive, even though its been done before) on Show to win...

So at the end of the night, a lack of 'production values' didn't annoy me in the slightest..I was throughly entertained from start to finish. It had a raw feel and it was just about watching the performers do their thing, and they did it brilliantly imo...

The quality of in ring work was great...at some house shows I've attended they sometimes held back a bit, but last night they went all out.

The amount of kids attending these things now is disturbing.....

Overall a great night, the only thing which annoyed was that Randy Orton, Rhodes or Dibiase were not there....I would have liked to have seen them for sure..

But on this night, there really wasn't much WWE could have done to improve this house show..it really was enjoyable from start to finish.

The problem though, is that I am looking at where you are from. You are from Ireland. You are still getting more production values then we get in the United States.

I am willing to bet your show entrance setup looked something like this ....

You at least get something, as far as lights go, and somewhat of an entranceway for your production values.

In the US and Canada, we get absolutely NOTHING. No lights or anything.

This is what our House Shows look like ...

Absolutely ZERO production values. So when overseas fans start seeing those of us in the United States and Canada complain about lack of production values, that is what we are talking about.

There is no excuse why WWE can not in the very least provide a lighted up entranceway, with some entrance lights that spread out to the entire arena, like what we see in the Overseas tours. That can not cost that much extra that WWE "can't afford" to put that in the North American shows.
