How about this

sorry if this has been done before
but the other day I was thinking, what if there was a tag team series of NXT. Ther could be 4-8 tag teams (8 might be a little too many) with pros who are either great tag team wrestlers
eg
Christian
Edge
Matt Hardy
Chris Jericho etc
or could be tag teams
eg The Hart Dynasty
The Colons
etc.
I think this would be a fun Idea to help a dying WWE tag team division.
Rewards would be that the winner gets a tag title shot, they go to raw yadda yadda, the same as NXT is right now.
What are yo're thoughts?

I like this idea. well, I didn't at first but instead of shitting all over it I went and checked out some other threads, but ultimately I find myself back here with a different perspective. This idea works, if and only if, the teams are legit tag-teams. Gimmicks, finishers, double teams, absolutely everything. Like the Dude Busters or Hart Dynasty, they have something for the fans to take to, and whether they get over or not will decide their fate. Random FCW guys thrown together for shits and gigs would fail massively, and devalue the entire "competition". Personally, I loved when London and Kendrick had a red hot tag division on SD! even if it was all guys I didn't give two fucks about, I just wanted to see LK hold onto the belts and that got me into every match. If NXT could provide teams that people care about, they'd still watch even if they hated the other team. Also given the stupid gimmicks that have gotten over but would fail horribly for singles guys (ie Deuce and Domino, Jesse and Festus, Cade and Murdoch, The Highlanders, The Spirit Squad, need i go on?), I'm sure on WWE Creative's laziest day they could make some decent teams.
