I have already posted about this but got in trouble for posting spoilers so going to repost this and reword it.

I really hope they aren't going to make the same mistake as they have done in the past when booking Barrett. Under the Gimmick Bad News Barrett he wasn't booked to badly but as champ he wasn't around very long. But previously as IC Champ under the Wade Barrett gimmick he has been booked horribly and been used as a jobber in Non title match and only winning the title matches. Mostly fed to Miz and Fandango in the past.

I'm hoping that's not the case this time as booking a champ that loses week after week, there's really no point putting a title on him. They have to book him strong if they want him to be a force. And with everything that happened against Ziggler with Kane. It's looking like Barrett might have filled Randys place in the authority. Hopefully not as Authority members seem to be fed to the big baby faces... (not including HHH or Steph. Just counting Randy, Seth and Kane)

It's still early but really hoping that Barrett stays on his own and doesn't join the Authority, and also that Creative don't book him as a jobbing champion again...

All Barrett has to do is stay healthy. He's still performs great and he is probably good for at least a few more years in the ring, assuming he can stay off the injured list.

If he hadn't separated his shoulder last year, things might be quite a bit different for Barrett right now. Maybe he would be sniffing at the main title picture. Give it some time and he'll make a slow rise again. Just gotta stay healthy.

I'm interested to see who they feud him with in the coming months. A run with Ambrose could be interesting going into Wrestlemania but they have to do something important with him to reverse the trend of his previous reigns.

I'm hoping this run goes better for Bad News Barrett myself. His in-ring name really is ironic, given his history. Injuries have plagued him by getting hurt at the worst possible time for just about every push he has ever gotten other than the initial one with the original Nexus. After the original Nexus split into the two horrible other factions New Nexus and The Corre, Barrett never recovered. There was his rumored Money In The Bank win in 2012, injuries. He comes back and does the Fight Club gimmick, gets the Barrett Barrage push, injuries. He comes back again as Bad News Barrett in his best character yet and wins the Intercontinental Championship again but.... injuries. I am a Barrett fan, have been ever since before the debut of Nexus. I just hope he actually gets to do something with the belt this time around and that he doesn't end up having more legitimate "Bad News" in the form of another injury during a big push. He's had horrible luck with that, I genuinely hope it will turn around for him this time. He has a great character with a great catch phrase to go along with his promo skills, a cool finisher, and last but not least he is good in the ring. Now if only he would stop getting injured mid-push....

A run with Ambrose would be great, but I think Ambrose needs to win his next feud with whoever it is and I don't think the IC title would be good for him at the moment.

Perhaps hold off until Mizdow turns face and makes the break away from Miz. I could see Mizdow and Barrett having a good feud together.

I really don't know how they are going to book Mizdow one the inevitable split happens.

Is his stunt double gimmick gonna go? Would seem like the whole last few month had been pointless to give him that gimmick to just forget the Gimmick?

Have him be someone else stunt double/b*tch?

I dunno just feel that Sandow could of been a lot more over than he is now if they didn't feed him to Cena and turn him into a jobber.

After seeing him lose on Smackdown to Sin Cara, less than a week after being Cesaro and Ziggler since his return, it seems like the cycle continues. Especially with Barrett, where they have him feud with the underdog that beats him.

Thankfully it's still early in his reign and looks like he probably won't defend his title at the RR, so maybe things will pick up. I could see him and Ziggler feuding again going into WrestleMania. Ziggler returns at RR, eliminates Barrett, Ziggler wins the title back at Fast Lane, they have a final bout at WrestleMania.
