HBK or Cena

see there's only two major people in WWE that I can think of that haven't went one on one with The Great One (The Rock) and Batista did come to mind but he sucks.Anyways if The Rock did come back and I am saying IF,The Rock came back and had a match a WM which person would you rather see him face HBK or Cena.I chose them because HBK always has the match of the night at WM and I chose Cena because he is very popular and reminds me of Hulk Hogan but ya who would you rather see HBK or Cena.

I personally would want to see Cena VS Rock just because Cena is the current face of WWE and The Rock was the previous and there very popular and great wrestlers but I would not mind seeing Rock VS HBK either but just prefer Cena VS Rock than Rock VS HBK

If The Rock were to come back to wrestle, he should wrestle Cena. Simply because there is some legitimate heat with the two concerning their movie careers and Cena's comments about how The Rock used pro wrestling as a springboard for his movie career.

It's the most marketable, because The Rock is mainstream now. He's got a few good movies under his belt and this would get publicity in all facets of the entertainment genre. We're talking possible cover of Entertainment Weekly, reports on E!, and syndicated shows like Extra! and Entertainment Tonight. The ramifications of such a match would have epic results.

Of course this will never happen. The Rock makes great money making films and a match like this is soley in his hands.

Obviously HBK vs. The Rock would be the better match. BUT, I would actually rather see Cena and Rock. The reason being because this would have the better storyline and build-up. Actor vs. Actor, 1#babyface vs. 1#babyface, Charisma vs. Charisma, and the faceoffs with the mic leading to the match would nothing short of epic.

This match would also be pretty good as there both pretty good in the ring. I think Cena is probably the most underrated ring worker. Also, I actually think Cena should win this match. The fans wouldn't like it but it would be the right move. This would only be a one time thing for The Rock and it would bury Cena if he won.

Don't want to sound repetitive here, but why are people clamoring for a Rock comeback? He has lost like 75 pounds and his physique is not in wrestling shape. He has stated publicly that he has no interest in returning to the WWE in a wrestling role. I know this is a fantasy post (and for the record, I'd rather see HBK-Rock in their primes), but the Attitude Era is over.

I will restate the obvious, it will not happen, but it is nice to imagine. I think it should be Rock vs Cena with major build up with both talking trash about the other. Both Rock and Cena are good on the mic and it would be very entertaining.

Have them feud at WM and throw in HBK as ref. Give them a long time to really build up the ending and have HBK deliver sweet chin music to both at the end. Have him grab the mic and tell them both he's the showstopper, he's Mr Wrestlemania and neither of them deserved the hype. I'm not a Cena or Rock hater, I like them both, but this would be very entertaining.

Cena does not deserve to even be in the same ring as the ROCK. THe rock is a legend of WWE and he has moved on in his career. Cena bad mouthing The Rock is a disgrace. The only reason Cena is the main eventer at the moment is because the WWE is targeting kids and Cena does a damn good job at entertaining kids. The Rock, the GREAT ONE was loved by fans of all ages. Cena's character is too goody goody and ass kissing to the fans. The rock never changed his style when he turned face. I feel bad for Cena in this PG ERA crap because he can't have an attitude but THE ROCK was a million times better on the MIC and in the Ring. Sorry Cena fans but The Rock is a legend and Cena is not even in the Rock's league. HBK v The Rock would be better if you ask me.

The Rock has wrestled people that we thought were going to be draw dropping moments. And YES they were when he wrestled; (Angle, Austin, Lesnar, Undertaker) etc. Also, in responce to the begining of the thread he "has" wrestled Batista, well sort of. WM 20 Rock N' Sock Connection vs. Evolution minus HHH. HHH was busy that night with the 5X,5X,5X,5X,FX WCW Champ and MEM member Booker T. So the Rock has tussled with Orton, Batista, and Flair as well as the above mentioned. Pretty awesome but not as awesome as either a Cena or HBK match. Did Rock even exist on the roster when Cena was around or was he busy being "Mr. Hollywood" box office crapper?

IF I had to pick and IF it was ever possible I'd pick HBK Vs. The Rock. Cena's style sucks, HBK doing knip up's, the Rock doing knip ups, Rock bottom's, sweet chin music! OH MAN! Gives me the chills. Think of Cena and The Rock and tell me if it gives you chills. On the mic only, not in the ring. HBK and The Rock would be THE biggest match at a Wrestlemania ever! The other day I was looking at my DVD's and I put the HBK DVD next to The Rock DVD and asked myself why this match has NEVER happened?!!

WWE likes the play games with us. Who remembers the 1st episode of smackdown? Remember HBK refereed HHH v Rock? And during the people's elbow he SUPER KICKED the Rock in the face? Then the Rock made fun of HBK the next week "There's a new sheriff in town blah blah" haha. We are suppose to believe that then in 2000 HBK is retired but he can do a kick better than, then he was doing in 1998 before his injury? They coulda made that happen at WM 16(2000). HBK was kicking jabroni's, had a wrestling school etc.. he was ready, the Rock was ready... WHY WHY WHY?

Although, The Rock vs. John Cena would be the more likely choice, I would much prefer to see The Rock vs. Shawn Michaels. The only problem is that, if Rock/HBK were to happen, I'd think that HBK would have absolutely no chance of winning. Which really would be a shame. However, if we saw Rock/Cena, it's a little harder to pick a clear winner. Either way, I would cheer for The Rock's opponent, just as punishment for him pretending like he was never a wrestler.

Back in late 1996, early 1997 Shawn Michaels treated the Rock like complete shit and made life in the lockeroom hell for Rocky. I'm sure the Rock would think of that first before considering stepping in the ring with Shawn Michaels, even though he's a changed man. Cena is the fan fav and the top draw, so from a money standpoint it would be Cena, but from an entertainment and wrestling standpoint it would be Shawn.

If The Rock were to return, Vince would book whichever opponent would draw the most money and that would be John Cena. What would really make the match between these two would be if they pulled some high risk moves here and there, a lot of back and forth action, a lot of near falls, kicking out of each other's best moves at least once, etc. It could work and it could be every bit as good as a Rock/HBK match. Just a little elbow grease is all that'd be required.

I basically have to disagree with the first part you just said. The Rock isn't as huge of a legend as people like to think he is. He played second fiddle to Austin basically his entire career. Rock has seven world championships and Cena has five I believe. I would put Rock and Cena in the same class as they transcended wrestling into entertainment. With the comments Cena made about the Rock, I would look more forward to a Cena/Rock match than a HBK/Rock one.

Well obviously, HBK/Rock would be a much better match to watch. I mean c'mon, HBK and the Rock would tear the roof off the place and it would be a dream match for many as HBK and the Rock have never done battle. Alot of Attitude Era fan boys(like myself) would love to see it.

However, and I can't believe I am saying this, Rock/Cena would be more appealing to me because of the comments that Cena as made about the Rock. It would draw more attention and it would create alot of good publicity for WWE. Plus, it has the potential to be a great match/storyline. Both are great mic workers, so the promos would be incredible, however, both would have to work extremely hard to make the match worth while.

HBK/Rock would be the better wrestling match, but Cena/Rock would be more entertaining.

If it were to happen then it should definatley be against Cena. There is actual heat between the two that creative could build off. These 2 would be epic, Rock/HBK wouldn't be any where near as big as Rock/Cena.

Imagine the promos leading up to the match between Cena and Rock. Fuck, that would be some of the best mic work ever in Pro Wrestling. These 2 guys would blow the roof off if ever in the same ring together. Saddly I don't ever see the Rock coming back but, anything is possible I suppose.

The better match would be HBK and Rock but storyline wise Cena and Rock its the Icon of the 90s and early 00s taking on Icon of The Current Era. Its like Rock and Hogan from 2002 except Hogan is now Rock and Cena is now Rock.
