Guys You Think Can Be World Champion In 2011

Chris Jericho Markaholic

Saving US_ From The PG Era
Ill keep this short and sweet 2 guys come to mind and heres why

1.Christian: This guy smells like a world champion he has all the tools in the world to get over and should get a major push when he comes back from injury

2.Alberto Del Rio: This guy draws alot of heat ,can work on the mic , and has become one of my favorites. A few more believable top notch wins and high-tier fued will put this guy on top.

Who do you think can be world champ in 2011?

Wade Barrett- The guy was so close to winning the title last year. Hes bound to get it sooner or later.

Alberto Del Rio- again, another incredibly talented individual. hes pretty aware of his own sucess according to this interview i read and even predicted that he will become world champ pretty soon.

John Morrison- theyre really molding him to become championship material. those matches with Sheamus have boosted both their credibility as possible world champions.

Sheamus- (see morrison)

I see a World Title in the hands of Dolph Ziggler very soon. He has really stepped up his game in the last few months, and is consistently putting on great matches. He has the look of a champion, good wrestling skills, and don't find him to be bad on the mic at all. I find him to be quite underrated, and is definitely world championship material in the future.

Alberto Del Rio

My number one pick for obvious reasons. The guy is the future of the business. Alberto brings heat in massive doeses and can really get the crowd to hate him. He's rich, cocky, and he thinks he better than everyone else. He's a perfect fit to take the title from Edge or any face that holds the title. He's ready. Quite possibly the total package. He's got the mic ability, a great in-ring move set, and draws great heat. he's indeed ready to hold the World Heavyweight Championship, and his year will be 2011. Can't wait.

John Morrison

Another one that comes to mind would be John Morrison. I think this Monday's falls count anywhere match is a testimate to show what Morrison can do. Maybe not oin RAW, but Morrison will become some kind of World Champion in 2011. The only category that needs work is mic ability, which can always be improved up on if given the right amount of time. Morrison has great in ring ability, and can really shine in the Main Event level which he has proived in his matches with Sheamus. I can deffinitely see a World Title in John Morrison come 2011.

Primo - I think that in 2011, WWE will realize the potential this young man has, he is only 27, his mic skills will be great when he cuts promos, he has very good wrestling skills, he has a good reaction from the crowd, and he is very believable as the WWE Champion.

Mark Henry - I think he should become a tweener. His run as a face sucks because the fans barely cheer him, and when he was a tweener, his wrestling skills were INCREDIBLE. He almost beat Kurt Angle and he cut one of the best promos in WWE history.

Guys that shouldn't be champion :

Zack Ryder- This guy is so annoying. His catch phrase is annoying. He is made to look weak and stupid. NEVER push this guy.

Dolph Ziggler- This guy is so boring to watch. I switch the channel every time I see him on television. Just fire this guy already. Bad wrestling skills, bad mic skills, no reaction from the crowd, ugly, and not believable as WWE Champion.

Mr. Anderson...this guy is money. Some have compared him to Stone Cold because of his anti-hero type gimmick, but I think he is more comparable to The Rock. One of the top promo guys in the business today and his in ring work aint too shabby. His match with Angle at Lockdown was one of the years best.

I gotta give dude before me credit for posting his own beliefs on some new heavy weight champions. I'd never in my life say primo as a world champion but glad you stand up for your beliefs.

Obvious choices are Del Rio, and Morrison they're both being molded into future champions and have great fan backings and skills.

I think Barret may also be on this list just because how close he got with Cena but can he pull it off on his own if he goes to smackdown on his own??

I gotta odd ball guess and maybe its just someone I'd like to see pushed but does anyone see jack swagger getting back into the title picture? I for one would love to see it.

Also I gotta put a word word out for Daniel Bryan, I know it would never happen on Raw but if they decide to unify the IC and US titles and he picks up the win. Then later down the year goes to smackdown and picks up a huge win over a dominate heel. Playing like the underdog roll.

Del rio is my top pick. He not only have great in ring work, mic skill, interesting gimmick but he actually have charisma. Defiintiely world champion by the end of 2011.

John Morrison is really holding back because of his mic skill. Seriously, john morrison had all the time he had since the splitting with the miz. Yet, morrison didnt show much improvement while the miz headed on becoming heavyweight champion of the world. Him having good matches is not going to be enough for him to be world champion, otherwise shouldnt he become one by now. Even swagger and kofi lost their mainevent despite being a good ring worker because they have no mic skill and charisma. This just shows to you mic skill and charisma are the key to success in wwe.

So if he does not find his character, personality, charisma or whatever, he might not be able to break that glass ceiling

2 guys fo sure thta will be champion in 2011 are

del rio- wwe is geting this guy ready to be the new face on sd. rey will take time off so @ mania he will win mitb and become the new hispanic star.

fcw mason ryan- rumor has it that he is big and has a similar look to batista. wwe will do to him what they did to lesnar and that is put him in the main event with in 6 months and take out a big baby face like cena or orton

2 other guys that should be wwe champion in 2011 but probly wont cause wwe likes to drop the ball on great talent are
morrison and ziggler. hope wwe proves me wrong and gives these guys the tilttle

well im gunna have to go with drew mcintyre for one he is the "chosen one" i just dont think vince would want to keep him out of wm. or ezekiel jackson

Golddust for World Championship the guy is totally rededicated. Would love for him to become a bigstar on Smackdown and Feud with Undertaker again.

del rio: pitcure him with the world heavywieght championship he can say that he brought class into this champion by beating edge and rey and he is the perfect champion

I agree with you on 2 parts. Mark Henry should be a champion. He is constantly overlooked. But, what promo did he cut that is so awesome? I'm not being a smartass either. I like to watch older promos so I was wondering what it was.

I also agree with Zack Ryder never being a champion. I really don't like the guy at all. He is SO annoying on SO many levels.

I disagree with Primo and Dolph Ziggler. I really don't think Primo is World Champion material. Maybe if they brought back the Cruiserweight championship or the Light Heavyweight Championship, then I would agree with you. As for Dolph Ziggler, I am not a Dolph Ziggler fan, but he really does have potential in becoming champion. I didn't think the Miz would be champion at all, but if he can then Dolph can.

Now, onto the topic at hand. I personally think that Drew McIntyre, Wade Barrett, Vladimir Kozlov, and possibly Ezekiel Jackson would be great champions if given the chance. The reason I say maybe with Big Zeke is it seems he gets injured alot lately. Also, I would like to see Chris Masters as a champion. I really think he could have a great feud with guys like Randy Orton, John Cena, and Sheamus.

alberto delrio is the obvious and popular choice so i'll agree with that

i REALLY hope that dolph doesnt even come close to the world title in 2011 or at any point in his career, he has no charisma whatsoever.

i could only hope they christian finally wins the big one on smackdown, since there is a shortage of main event talent it shouldnt be too hard to climb the ladder on the blue brand. a world title reign is well deserved

call me crazy but i really think alex riley can run with the ball if they turned him face and had him turn on the miz for the title. Even as the miz face and riley heel for the title, i think it could work. Booking has held riley back, but if riley was in the mizs shoes hed be a better champion (he's better in the ring and on the mic), he just doesn't have the reality tv background that the miz has

Smackdown: Albero Del Rio (A lock) Christian (If the mania rumours are true)
Drew Mcintyre I BELIEVE this year is his year.

Raw: C.M Punk (A lock) Wade Barrett (If he can be rebuilt after the nexus bomb)

Impact: Anderson (A lock) Pope (Should of won it last year, But he got injured by A.J Stlyes and R.V.D came into the picture and being a former wwe superstar he had to get the title. Fat load of good that was  )

I've gotta go with Kofi Kingston. This guy has a lot of in ring skills but his mic work could be better. I think if he improved his talking, he could hold the World title this year.

Another two guys i think will win are Santino & Ezekiel Jackson. Santino is super over and I think they might give it to him even if he's just a transitional champ. Big Zeke is a guy that they want to push because of his size. They have been pumping up his move to SmackDown and i think he could really shine on the Blue Brand.

Dolph Ziggler- This guy is so boring to watch. I switch the channel every time I see him on television. Just fire this guy already. Bad wrestling skills, bad mic skills, no reaction from the crowd, ugly, and not believable as WWE Champion.

What the crap? I really hope this is sarcasm...let's face it, Ziggler is better than Primo in every way imaginable. How can you say Primo has skills and a crowd reaction and then follow that up by saying Ziggler doesn't??? Especially the crowd reaction part. Not to mention Mark Henry...look, I agree they could and should use him better, but let's be straight here. The man has never had an average promo, let alone one of the best ever, lol.

Like many others, I would put Ziggler and Morrison up there. And as much as I hate to say it, because I think he's terribly overrated (especially his mic skills), Del Rio is probably a possibility as well. But the one guy I thought would get mentioned more is Kofi Kingston. I definitely think he is a future World champion, and it could be in 2011. He was on the fast track until he botched that spot with Randy Orton...I think that will be forgiven eventually, and he'll win a MITB this year, and cash it in for one of the titles.

i think a few guys should be world champion in 2011
1.Wade barret once he moves to SD he will be goin for the whc.
2.Daniel bryan i know wwe will give him a push he also has great mat skills.
3.John morrison its obvious he will be wwe champ sooner or later.
4.Alberto del rio he is young can get good heat what else does he need whc by august.
Finally 5...........Dolph ziggler he has 1 good mat skills 2 good promos 3 great heat.

1. Alberto del rio
This guy has been making a name for himself since his debut. If Wwe don't give him the title by next years mania then they have dropped the ball on this guy he's above average in the ring his mic skills are awesome and he is deffinatly better in ring then the miz (and I'm a huge miz mark). With the undertaker getting injured nearly every match he has and mysterio and edge looking to retire in the near future smackdown will be looking for starpower and who better then del rio to step up.

I can see CM Punk winning the WWE title and having a good lengthy heel run this year, he's very over and set to feud with the top two faces in the company.

Del Rio seems almost a lock and I can see Ziggler and Morrison getting short test runs.

Del Rio will definately hold the gold and I also think Wade Barret will aswell (probably on Smackdown). Cant see anyone else...possibly John Morrison as a first timer. I think the title on Raw will switch between Cena, Orton, Miz and Punk for a while yet. And on Smackdown, well the 2 I mentioned, Edge and probably Big Show.

1. Christian - he has so much potential, and has proved it on many occasions, for example his run as ECW champion... COME ON WWE, GET A GRIP!!

2. JoMo - This guy hasn't been given enough chances, he's so interesting to watch!

And just for the hell of it, people who shouldn't be champion...

1. The Miz - He tried to prove himself, and completely failed. He's rubbish. Get him off now.

2. John Cena - He's had enough championships. Every other storyline he has is championship. Let him have a normal storyline, without a championship.

I think a few people have a good chance at becoming world champions

John Morrison - I think once Wrestlemania is over he will win the title. His matches with Sheamus have improved his credibility as a possible champion. He is good in the ring but his mic skills need more work. He gets a good response of the fans as well.

Alberto Del Rio - I think this one is a lock. He is good on the mic, in the ring, gets good heat and has a good gimmick. I think he might even face Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania (maybe Christian there too).

Ezekiel Jackson - He is moving to Smackdown so I think he has a much better chance at becoming champ. He is huge and that's what Vince likes so. I think he will get a heel turn and dominate Smackdown.

CM Punk - I think he will win the WWE Championship this year. He deserves it. His ring skills are good, mic skills are great and with his current feud with John Cena I think his credibility and heat will boost.

People I do not think will be champion:

Christian - I am a fan of Christian and think he would make a great champion but I just can't see it. He will most probably feud over the IC Championship. I do however predict he will be in the World Heavyweight Championship match against Edge and Alberto Del Rio at Wrestlemania.

Mark Henry - I don't think he would have it in him to be a world champion.I would not mind it because he I quite like him but he is injury prone.

I think The Miz has busted the World Title picture wide open, There are a lot of guys i can consider at the moment. I'll list whoever comes to mind.

Wade Barrett, the guys main evented enough times. WWE obviously sees a lot of potential in him it's only a matter of time before he gets the strap.

Kofi Kingston, Kofi was part of a great potential feud with Randy Orton, it was cut off for whatever reason but he proved to me that he can hang up there in the main event division and has all the tools to be a great champ.

Ezekiel Jackson, Big Zeke has so much potential and I think with some work on his mic skills and the right booking he could be an awesome dominant face champ.

Big Show, I know he's won it before but I definitely see him winning it this year. He's very over with the crowd and I think the kids would definitely buy into him as champ.

Alberto Del Rio
This guy has the total package right now and I see him with the belt any day now.

John Morrison
The feud with the Miz could push him to the top and solidify him as a big contender, but other then that he's hit or miss.

Guys who have great potential but aren't ready for a world title reign yet,

Daniel Bryan, the sky is the limit for Bryan but he needs a personality to succeed in WWE. The goofy angle with the Bellas is a start but he also needs to be very serious, competitive, and intense. The intensity and pure athleticism is what made him so successful on the independent circuit, and it can work in WWE as well. I think he'll evolve similarly to the way that Kurt Angle did, start off goofy to get over with the fans but evolve into an intense character who's wrestling is unprecedented.

Drew Mcyntyre,
I almost put him into the guys that I think will have it in 2011 but now that I think about it he really needs some more work in getting over. He's another one with a lack of personality. I think his character just needs more emotion something people can relate to whether they like him or they hate him he just doesn't get any reaction right now.

Ted Dibiase,
Alot of potential but he's just floating around right now really not doing anything special, another guy with really no personality at the moment.

Wild card guys who could step up

Curt Hawkins
Dolph Ziggler
Cody Rhodes
Trent Barreta
David Otunga
Tyson Kid
DH Smith

I didn't bother doing TNA because their title is a joke to me.

I forgot to mention Drew McIntyre. He is great IMO and with signs showing he might have Kelly joining him soon and him saying he will be champion this year I see big things from him. He should win The World Heavyweight Championship this year IMO. I hope he feuds with The Big Show at Wrestlemania as a boost.
