Sort of, I've had four colds in the last five weeks.
I finally went to the doctor yesterday and got diagnosed with bronchitis. I'm back at work today and feel mostly better but I have a few more days of antibiotics.
How was everyone's New Year? I was asleep by 10:30.
Btw, I agree with you on Cena's promo from the end of Raw. Shitstorm aside it was terrific. I got a little emotional when he made his Rumble announcement.

The party was fine, though it wasn't the kind I was hoping for. It was a going away party for a co-worker of my mother who's is a very cool guy who I've gotten to know pretty well. It was pretty much just us and his entire family and neighbors so I kinda felt out of place. Plus there was this awkward tension between his sister and I because my mother was trying to set us up because she thinks I spend too much time on the internet. The party was actually in the suburbs though, in a place called Glenwood.

Your mom is right but everyone spends too much time on the internet. The internet really is kind of a waste unless your last night is Zuckerberg or Twitter. I do wonder what high school kids are supposed to be doing in the middle of winter in not exactly the safest city in the US. Regardless, I think it's pretty cool that you mom is looking out for you.

Yeah you're right, I've been doing more social activities lately but with it still being freezing cold everyday my motivation gets lower and lower. But the female thing is probably what concerns her the most, that and my obsession with men wrestling in tights.
A real conversation never got started, so until next time I'll never know.

Headed to Vegas in the morning with the wife. I've never been to Vegas with my wife. This should be interesting, but not as interesting as when I approach the Sportsbook and try to make bets on the Rumble.

Nah. My wife just jumped on a huge Southwest sale. $170/person round trip. We are paying for the hotel with Marriott points. We planned to do this three years ago, but the day before we were leaving her grandma had a stroke and died shortly thereafter. A few months later my wife got pregnant again with my son so we have be looking for a good opportunity to go and this seems to be it. It's probably not fiscally responsible but it will be nice for the both of us to get away from the kids for a couple of nights. The weather is supposed to be pretty warm too.

Live it up man. I think you need to place some bets on the rumble as you mentioned. If it helps according to WWE.Com search Eve is winning the rumble this year. But i'd put my money on Cena or Ryback or Orton.

It's been dull, my wife and daughter are out of town so I am watching my son by myself for the next four days. In fact, he's just taken down over two whole rice cakes in one sitting. There's a little neurotic part of me that is worried that he has some rare toddler rice cake addiction.
The weather iin Chicago finally feels like normal winter time stuff. Not too mild and not too cold with a decent layer of snow.
The website has been entertaining. Harthan's Dagger-rant led to some interesting and funny stuff. Big Papa Santo is back. I think most people find him ridiculous but I like that his posts and threads are pretty random. The Bar Room should have more of that.
Raw was the definition of solid this week. Nothing too amazing but the show just flowed really well and had some decent action.
What's up with you? What kept you away?

Just finished watching RAW, loved the Bryan/Rey and Punk/Jericho matches. Hate the fact that only one EC match is happening at the PPV though and it's not even for an actual championship.
I was in a Mental Institution the last four days, not as bad as one would think but definitely not a place I want to go again.

I think you need to elabotate on that one. But only if you are comfortable.
Plus, I don't mind this EC to not be for the championship and don't count out them turning Cena/Ryback/Sheamus/Shield to turn in to an EC match. EC is all about the spectacle and it's a hokey way to win the title. Not as hokey as a MiTB cash-in but still hokey.

I more so thinking that the PPV should be scrapped all together and be replaced with a generic named PPV so that a six man tag such as Cena/Ryback/Sheamus vs Shield would be more acceptable and not an obvious cop out filler for the first three. It would also stop the predictable six man feud booking they always due in February.
Oh, and the other thing.....one may have thought it was a good idea to end one's life, that same person may have been unsuccessful in doing so and was admitted into hospital by one's parents.
