I'm just south of Lincolnwood, Niles and Skokie within the city limits. Not far from where 90 and 94 split.

South Suburbs but most of my time is spent at Roosevelt and the Loop.

I remember when I spent a good chunk of time at the Merchandise Mart for my internship. Good times. Now I rarely travel to the city. I get sad when I think about it.

Like I said I haven't tried everything, I usually eat the same thing till a friend recommends something new. What type of food is it?

Kuma's Corner? I heard their burgers are great. I've never tried Five Guys.

The best meal I've had in a while was at The Portage. I'm pretty picky and it's rare I find a place that I try something different and actually enjoy it.

Back in my single Lakeview days, greasy Mexican was the best. Even though I'm picky I can always find something on a Sushi, Indian, seafood, or Chinese menu. Chicago is a great place to eat.

Kuma's Corner? I heard their burgers are great. I've never tried Five Guys.

Awesome burgers. The original Kuma's on Belmont is a small little corner bar, hence the name. If you get there early enough you'll get seated no problem. You get there later, you're waiting at least an hour if not more. Metal music plays, burgers are all excellent, and named after rock/metal bands. There is another Kuma's opening in Lincoln Park in February.

I'll have to look into The Portage. Sounds delicious though. If you guys are ever in the Schaumburg area, try Lincoln Whiskey Kitchen. Little pricey but it's excellent.
